Provérbios 13

1 ပ​ညာ​ရှိ​သော​သား​သည် အ​ဘ၏​သွန်​သင်​ခြင်း​ကို နား​ထောင်​တတ်၏။ မ​ထီ​မဲ့​မြင်​ပြု​သော​သား​မူ​ကား၊ အ​ပြစ်​တင်​ခြင်း​ကို နား​မ​ထောင်​တတ်။ 2 လူ​သည် မိ​မိ​နှုတ်၏​အ​သီး​တည်း​ဟူ​သော ကောင်း​သော​အ​ရာ​ကို စား​ရ၏။ ပြစ်​မှား​တတ်​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ ညှဉ်း​ဆဲ​ခြင်း​အ​ပြစ်၏ အ​သီး​ကို​စား​ရ၏။ 3 မိ​မိ​နှုတ်​ကို​စောင့်​သော​သူ​သည် မိ​မိ​အ​သက်​ကို​စောင့်၏။ မိ​မိ​နှုတ်​ကို​ကျယ်​ကျယ်​ဖွင့်​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ ပျက်​စီး​ခြင်း​သို့ ရောက်​တတ်၏။ 4 ပျင်း​ရိ​သော​သူ​သည် အ​ဘယ်​အ​ရာ​ကို​မျှ တောင့်​တ၍​မ​ရ​တတ်။ လုံ့​လ​ဝိ​ရိ​ယ​ပြု​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ မိ​မိ​အ​လို​ဆ​န္ဒ ပြည့်​စုံ​ရ၏။ 5 ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ​သည် မု​သား​စ​ကား​ကို​မုန်း​တတ်၏။ မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ စက်​ဆုပ်​ဖွယ်​ဖြစ်၍၊ အ​ရှက်​ကွဲ​ခြင်း​သို့ ရောက်​တတ်၏။ 6 ဖြောင့်​မတ်​ခြင်း​တ​ရား​သည် လမ်း​မ​လွှဲ​သော​သူ​ကို စောင့်​တတ်၏။ ဒု​စ​ရိုက်​တ​ရား​မူ​ကား၊ အ​ပြစ်​ရှိ​သော​သူ​ကို လှဲ​တတ်၏။ 7 အ​လွန်​ဆင်း​ရဲ​လျက်​နှင့် ရ​တတ်​ဟန်​ဆောင်​သော​သူ​ရှိ၏။ အ​လွန်​ရ​တတ်​လျက်​နှင့် ဆင်း​ရဲ​ဟန်​ဆောင်​သော​သူ​လည်း​ရှိ၏။ 8 စည်း​စိမ်​သည် ရ​တတ်​သော​သူ၏ အ​သက်​ကို ရွေး​ဖို့​ဖြစ်၏။ ဆင်း​ရဲ​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ အ​ပြစ်​တင်​သော​စ​ကား​ကို မ​ကြား​ဘဲ​နေ၏။ 9 ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ၏​အ​လင်း​သည် ရွှင်​လန်း၏။ မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ၏​မီး​ခွက်​မူ​ကား၊ သေ​ရ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 10 မာ​န​ကြောင့်​သာ ရန်​တွေ့​ခြင်း​ဖြစ်၏။ သ​တိ​ပေး​သော​စ​ကား​ကို နား​ခံ​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား ပ​ညာ​ရှိ၏။ 11 လျှပ်​ပေါ်​ခြင်း​အား​ဖြင့် ဥ​စ္စာ​သည်​လျော့​တတ်၏။ ကြိုး​စား​အား​ထုတ်၍ ဆည်း​ပူး​သော​သူ၏​ဥ​စ္စာ​မူ​ကား၊ ပြန့်​ပွား​တတ်၏။ 12 မျှော်​လင့်​သော​အ​ရာ​သည် ဖင့်​နွှဲ​လျှင်၊ စိတ်​နှ​လုံး​ကို ပူ​ပန်​စေ​တတ်၏။ အ​လို​ပြည့်​စုံ​သော​အ​ခါ​မူ​ကား အ​သက်​ပင်​ဖြစ်၏။

13 နှုတ်​က​ပတ်​တော်​ကို မ​ထီ​မဲ့​မြင်​ပြု​သော​သူ​သည် ပျက်​စီး​လိမ့်​မည်။ ပ​ညတ်​တ​ရား​တော်​ကို ခန့်​ညား​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ ချမ်း​သာ​ရ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 14 ပ​ညာ​ရှိ​သော​သူ၏​တ​ရား​သည် အ​သေ​ခံ​ရာ​ကျော့​ကွင်း​တို့​မှ၊ လွှဲ​ရှောင်​ရာ အ​သက်​စမ်း​ရေ​တွင်း​ဖြစ်၏။ 15 ကောင်း​သော​ဉာဏ်​ရှိ​သော​သူ​သည် မျက်​နှာ​ရ​တတ်၏။ ပြစ်​မှား​သော​သူ​တို့ လမ်း​မူ​ကား၊ ခက်​သော​လမ်း​ဖြစ်၏။ 16 သ​မ္မာ​သ​တိ​ရှိ​သော​သူ​အ​ပေါင်း​တို့​သည် ပ​ညာ​အ​တတ်​နှင့် ပြု​မူ​တတ်​ကြ၏။ မိုက်​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ မိ​မိ​မိုက်​သော အ​ပြစ်​ကို ထင်​ရှား​စေ​တတ်၏။ 17 မ​တ​ရား​သော​အ​စေ​ခံ​သည် မိ​မိ​စောင့်​သော​အ​မှု​ကို ဖျက်​တတ်၏။ သ​စ္စာ​ရှိ​သော​သံ​တ​မန်​မူ​ကား၊ ကျန်း​မာ​ခြင်း​အ​ကြောင်း ဖြစ်၏။ 18 သွန်​သင်​ခြင်း​ကို ငြင်း​ပယ်​သော​သူ​သည် ဆင်း​ရဲ​ခြင်း​နှင့် ရှက်​ကြောက်​ခြင်း​သို့ ရောက်​လိမ့်​မည်။ ဆုံး​မ​သော​စ​ကား​ကို နား​ထောင်​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ ဂုဏ်​အ​သ​ရေ​ကို ရ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 19 အ​လို​ဆ​န္ဒ​ပြည့်​စုံ​ခြင်း​အ​ရာ​သည် ချို​မြိန်၏။ ဒု​စ​ရိုက်​ကို ရှောင်​သော​အ​ရာ​မူ​ကား၊ မိုက်​သော​သူ​တို့ စက်​ဆုပ်​သော​အ​ရာ​ဖြစ်၏။ 20 ပ​ညာ​ရှိ​တို့​နှင့် ပေါင်း​ဖော်​သော​သူ​သည် ပ​ညာ​ရှိ​တတ်၏။ လူ​မိုက်​တို့​နှင့် ပေါင်း​ဖော်​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ ပျက်​စီး​တတ်၏။ 21 အ​ပြစ်​ရှိ​သော​သူ​တို့​ကို ဘေး​လိုက်​တတ်၏။ ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ​တို့​မူ​ကား၊ ကောင်း​သော​အ​ကျိုး​ကို ခံ​ရ​လိမ့်​မည်။ 22 သူ​တော်​ကောင်း​သည် သား​မြေး​တို့​အ​ဖို့ အ​မွေ​ဥ​စ္စာ​ကို​ချန်​ထား​တတ်၏။ အ​ပြစ်​ရှိ​သော​သူ၏ စည်း​စိမ်​မူ​ကား၊ ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ​တို့​အ​ဖို့ သို​ထား​လျက်​ရှိ၏။ 23 ဆင်း​ရဲ​သား လယ်​လုပ်​ခြင်း​အား​ဖြင့် စား​စ​ရာ​ပွား​များ၏။ သို့​ရာ​တွင်၊ မ​တ​ရား​သော​အ​မှု​ကြောင့် ပျက်​စီး​ခြင်း​သို့ ရောက်​တတ်၏။ 24 ကြိမ်​လုံး​ကို မ​သုံး​သော​သူ​သည် မိ​မိ​သား​ကို မုန်း​ရာ​သို့​ရောက်၏။ သား​ကို​ချစ်​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ ငယ်​သော​အ​ရွယ်​မှ​စ၍ ဆုံး​မ​တတ်၏။ 25 ဖြောင့်​မတ်​သော​သူ​သည် ဝ​စွာ​စား​ရ​သော အ​ခွင့်​ရှိ၏။ မ​တ​ရား​သော​သူ​မူ​ကား၊ မွတ်​သိပ်​ခြင်း​ကို​ခံ​ရ​လိမ့်​မည်။

1 A wise son heareth his father’s instruction;

But a scoffer heareth not rebuke.

2 A man shall eat good by the fruit of his mouth;

But the soul of the treacherous shall eat violence.

3 He that guardeth his mouth keepeth his life;

But he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction.

4 The soul of the sluggard desireth, and hath nothing;

But the soul of the diligent shall be made fat.

5 A righteous man hateth lying;

But a wicked man is loathsome, and cometh to shame.

6 Righteousness guardeth him that is upright in the way;

But wickedness overthroweth the sinner.

7 There is that maketh himself rich, yet hath nothing:

There is that maketh himself poor, yet hath great wealth.

8 The ransom of a man’s life is his riches;

But the poor heareth no threatening.

9 The light of the righteous rejoiceth;

But the lamp of the wicked shall be put out.

10 By pride cometh only contention;

But with the well-advised is wisdom.

11 Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished;

But he that gathereth by labor shall have increase.

12 Hope deferred maketh the heart sick;

But when the desire cometh, it is a tree of life.

13 Whoso despiseth the word bringeth destruction on himself;

But he that feareth the commandment shall be rewarded.

14 The law of the wise is a fountain of life,

That one may depart from the snares of death.

15 Good understanding giveth favor;

But the way of the transgressor is hard.

16 Every prudent man worketh with knowledge;

But a fool flaunteth his folly.

17 A wicked messenger falleth into evil;

But a faithful ambassador is health.

18 Poverty and shame shall be to him that refuseth correction;

But he that regardeth reproof shall be honored.

19 The desire accomplished is sweet to the soul;

But it is an abomination to fools to depart from evil.

20 Walk with wise men, and thou shalt be wise;

But the companion of fools shall smart for it.

21 Evil pursueth sinners;

But the righteous shall be recompensed with good.

22 A good man leaveth an inheritance to his children’s children;

And the wealth of the sinner is laid up for the righteous.

23 Much food is in the tillage of the poor;

But there is that is destroyed by reason of injustice.

24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son;

But he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

25 The righteous eateth to the satisfying of his soul;

But the belly of the wicked shall want.
