1 တစ်ဖန် ထာဝရဘုရားက၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် အခြားတစ်ပါးသော ဘုရားတို့ကို ဖူးမျှော်၍၊ စပျစ်သီးပျဉ်ကို အလိုရှိသော်လည်း ထာဝရဘုရားချစ်တော်မူသည်နည်းတူ၊ မိမိခင်ပွန်း၏ ချစ်ခြင်းကိုခံလျက် မျောက်မထားသော မိန်းမကို သွား၍ချစ်ဦးလော့ဟု ငါ့အား မှာထားတော်မူသည်အတိုင်း၊ 2 ထိုမိန်းမကို ငွေတစ်ဆယ်ငါးကျပ်၊ မုယောဆန်တစ်ဟောမဲခွဲနှင့် ငါရွေးပြီးမှ၊ 3 သင်သည် ငါ့အဖို့ နေ့ရက်များစွာစောင့်၍ နေရမည်။ ပြည့်တန်ဆာ မလုပ်ရ။ အခြားသောယောက်ျားနှင့် မပေါင်းဖော်ရ။ သို့ပြုလျှင်၊ သင့်အဖို့ ငါစောင့်၍နေမည်ဟု ပြောထား၏။ 4 အကြောင်းမူကား၊ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် နေ့ရက်များစွာ ရှင်ဘုရင်မရှိ၊ မင်းသားမရှိ၊ ယဇ်ပူဇော်ခြင်းမရှိ၊ ဆင်းတုမရှိ၊ သင်တိုင်းမရှိ၊ တေရပ်ရုပ်တုမရှိဘဲ နေရကြလိမ့်မည်။ 5 ထိုနောက်မှ ဣသရေလအမျိုးသားတို့သည် ပြန်လာ၍၊ သူတို့ဘုရားသခင် ထာဝရဘုရားကိုလည်းကောင်း၊ သူတို့ရှင်ဘုရင် ဒါဝိဒ်ကိုလည်းကောင်းရှာ၍၊ နောင်ကာလ၌ ကျေးဇူးတော်ကိုခံအံ့သောငှာ၊ ထာဝရဘုရားထံတော်သို့ တုန်လှုပ်လျက်ပြေးကြလိမ့်မည်။
1 And Jehovah said unto me, Go again, love a woman beloved of a friend, and an adulteress, according to the love of Jehovah for the children of Israel, though they turn to other gods, and love raisin-cakes. 2 So I bought her to me for fifteen silver pieces, and for a homer of barley, and a half-homer of barley. 3 And I said unto her, Thou shalt abide for me many days; thou shalt not play the harlot, and thou shalt not be another man’s, and I will also be for thee. 4 For the children of Israel shall abide many days without king, and without prince, and without sacrifice, and without statue, and without ephod and teraphim. 5 Afterwards shall the children of Israel return, and seek Jehovah their GodGodHebrew: Elohim and David their king; and shall turn with fear toward Jehovah and toward his goodness, at the end of the days.
