1 O Senhor disse a Moisés:2 "Traga Arão e seus filhos, suas vestes, o óleo da unção, o novilho para a oferta pelo pecado, os dois carneiros e o cesto de pães sem fermento;3 e reúna toda a comunidade à entrada da Tenda do Encontro".4 Moisés fez como o Senhor lhe ordenou, e a comunidade reuniu-se à entrada da Tenda do Encontro.5 Então Moisés disse à comunidade: "Foi isto que o Senhor mandou fazer";6 e levou Arão e seus filhos à frente e mandou-os banhar-se com água;7 pôs a túnica em Arão, colocou-lhe o cinto e o manto, e pôs sobre ele o colete sacerdotal; depois a ele prendeu o manto sacerdotal com o cinturão;8 colocou também o peitoral, e nele pôs o Urim e o Tumim;9 e colocou o turbante na cabeça de Arão com a lâmina de ouro, isto é, a coroa sagrada, na frente do turbante, conforme o Senhor tinha ordenado a Moisés.10 Depois Moisés pegou o óleo da unção e ungiu o tabernáculo e tudo o que nele havia, e assim os consagrou.11 Aspergiu sete vezes o óleo sobre o altar, ungindo o altar e todos os seus utensílios e a bacia com o seu suporte, para consagrá-los.12 Derramou o óleo da unção sobre a cabeça de Arão para ungi-lo e consagrá-lo.13 Trouxe então os filhos de Arão à frente, vestiu-os com suas túnicas e cintos, e colocou-lhes gorros, conforme o Senhor lhe havia ordenado.14 Em seguida trouxe o novilho para a oferta pelo pecado, e Arão e seus filhos puseram-lhe as mãos sobre a cabeça.15 Moisés sacrificou o novilho, e com o dedo pôs um pouco do sangue em todas as pontas do altar para purificá-lo. Derramou o restante do sangue na base do altar e assim o consagrou para fazer propiciação por ele.16 Moisés pegou também toda a gordura que cobre as vísceras, o lóbulo do fígado e os dois rins com a gordura que os cobre, e os queimou no altar.17 Mas o novilho com o seu couro, a sua carne e o seu excremento, ele os queimou fora do acampamento, conforme o Senhor lhe havia ordenado.18 Mandou trazer então o carneiro para o holocausto, e Arão e seus filhos puseram as mãos sobre a cabeça do carneiro.19 A seguir Moisés sacrificou o carneiro e derramou o sangue nos lados do altar.20 Depois, cortou o carneiro em pedaços; queimou a cabeça, os pedaços e a gordura.21 Lavou as vísceras e as pernas, e queimou o carneiro inteiro sobre o altar, como holocausto, oferta de aroma agradável ao Senhor, preparado no fogo, conforme o Senhor lhe havia ordenado.22 Depois mandou trazer o outro carneiro, o carneiro para a oferta de ordenação, e Arão e seus filhos colocaram as mãos sobre a cabeça do carneiro.23 Moisés sacrificou o carneiro e pôs um pouco do sangue na ponta da orelha direita de Arão, no polegar da sua mão direita e no polegar do seu pé direito.24 Moisés também mandou que os filhos de Arão se aproximassem, e sobre cada um pôs um pouco do sangue na ponta da orelha direita, no polegar da mão direita e no polegar do pé direito; e derramou o restante do sangue nos lados do altar.25 Apanhou a gordura, a cauda gorda, toda a gordura que cobre as vísceras, o lóbulo do fígado, os dois rins e a gordura que os cobre e a coxa direita.26 Então, do cesto de pães sem fermento, que estava perante o Senhor, apanhou um pão comum, outro feito com óleo e um pão fino, colocando-os sobre as porções de gordura e sobre a coxa direita.27 Pôs tudo nas mãos de Arão e de seus filhos e os moveu perante o Senhor como gesto ritual de apresentação.28 Depois Moisés pegou de volta das mãos deles e queimou tudo no altar, em cima do holocausto, como uma oferta de ordenação, preparada no fogo, de aroma agradável ao Senhor.29 Moisés também pegou o peito e a sua própria porção do carneiro da ordenação, e o moveu perante o Senhor como gesto ritual de apresentação, como o Senhor lhe havia ordenado.30 Então pegou um pouco do óleo da unção e um pouco do sangue que estava no altar e os aspergiu sobre Arão e suas vestes, bem como sobre seus filhos e suas vestes. Assim consagrou Arão e suas vestes, e seus filhos e suas vestes.31 Moisés então disse a Arão e a seus filhos: "Cozinhem a carne na entrada da Tenda do Encontro, onde a deverão comer com o pão do cesto das ofertas de ordenação, conforme me foi ordenado: ‘Arão e seus filhos deverão comê-la’.32 Depois queimem o restante da carne e do pão.33 Não saiam da entrada da Tenda do Encontro por sete dias, até que se completem os dias da ordenação de vocês, pois essa cerimônia de ordenação durará sete dias.34 O que se fez hoje foi ordenado pelo Senhor para fazer propiciação por vocês.35 Vocês terão que permanecer dia e noite à entrada da Tenda do Encontro por sete dias e obedecer às exigências do Senhor, para que não morram; pois isso me foi ordenado".36 Arão e seus filhos fizeram tudo o que o Senhor tinha ordenado por meio de Moisés.

1 And Yahweh spoke to Moses, saying,2 Take Aaron and his sons with him, and the garments, and the anointing oil, and the bull of the sin-offering, and the two rams, and the basket of unleavened bread;3 and assemble all the congregation at the door of the tent of meeting.4 And Moses did as Yahweh commanded him; and the congregation was assembled at the door of the tent of meeting.5 And Moses said to the congregation, This is the thing which Yahweh has commanded to be done.6 And Moses brought Aaron and his sons, and washed them with water.7 And he put on him the coat, and girded him with the belt, and clothed him with the robe, and put the ephod on him, and he girded him with the skillfully woven band of the ephod, and bound it to him with it.8 And he placed the breastplate on him: and in the breastplate he put the Urim and the Thummim.9 And he set the turban on his head; and on the turban, in front, he set the golden plate, the holy crown; as Yahweh commanded Moses.10 And Moses took the anointing oil, and anointed the tabernacle and all that was in it, and sanctified them.11 And he sprinkled of it on the altar seven times, and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the basin and its base, to sanctify them.12 And he poured of the anointing oil on Aaron's head, and anointed him, to sanctify him.13 And Moses brought Aaron's sons, and clothed them with coats, and girded them with belts, and bound head-tires on them; as Yahweh commanded Moses.14 And he brought the bull of the sin-offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the bull of the sin-offering.15 And he slew it; and Moses took blood, and put it on the horns of the altar round about with his finger, and purified the altar, and poured out the blood at the base of the altar, and sanctified it, to make atonement for it.16 And he took all the fat that was on the insides, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat; and Moses burned it on the altar.17 But the bull, and its skin, and its flesh, and its dung, he burnt with fire outside the camp; as Yahweh commanded Moses.18 And he presented the ram of the burnt-offering: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.19 And he killed it; and Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar round about.20 And he cut the ram into its pieces; and Moses burnt the head, and the pieces, and the fat.21 And he washed the insides and the legs with water; and Moses burnt the whole ram on the altar: it was a burnt-offering for a sweet savor: it was an offering made by fire to Yahweh; as Yahweh commanded Moses.22 And he presented the other ram, the ram of consecration: and Aaron and his sons laid their hands on the head of the ram.23 And he slew it; and Moses took of its blood, and put it on the tip of Aaron's right ear, and on the thumb of his right hand, and on the great toe of his right foot.24 And he brought Aaron's sons; and Moses put of the blood on the tip of their right ear, and on the thumb of their right hand, and on the great toe of their right foot: and Moses sprinkled the blood on the altar round about.25 And he took the fat, and the fat tail, and all the fat that was on the insides, and the caul of the liver, and the two kidneys, and their fat, and the right thigh:26 and out of the basket of unleavened bread, that was before Yahweh, he took one unleavened cake, and one cake of oiled bread, and one wafer, and placed them on the fat, and on the right thigh:27 and he put the whole on the hands of Aaron, and on the hands of his sons, and waved them for a wave-offering before Yahweh.28 And Moses took them from off their hands, and burnt them on the altar on the burnt-offering: they were a consecration for a sweet savor: it was an offering made by fire to Yahweh.29 And Moses took the breast, and waved it for a wave-offering before Yahweh: it was Moses' portion of the ram of consecration; as Yahweh commanded Moses.30 And Moses took of the anointing oil, and of the blood which was on the altar, and sprinkled it on Aaron, on his garments, and on his sons, and on his sons' garments with him, and sanctified Aaron, his garments, and his sons, and his sons' garments with him.31 And Moses said to Aaron and to his sons, Boil the flesh at the door of the tent of meeting: and there eat it and the bread that is in the basket of consecration, as I commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons will eat it.32 And that which remains of the flesh and of the bread you{+} will burn with fire.33 And you{+} will not go out from the door of the tent of meeting seven days, until the days of your{+} consecration are fulfilled: for he will consecrate you{+} seven days.34 As has been done this day, so Yahweh has commanded [you{+}] to do, to make atonement for you{+}.35 And at the door of the tent of meeting you{+} will remain day and night seven days, and keep the charge of Yahweh, that you{+} will not die: for so I am commanded.36 And Aaron and his sons did all the things which Yahweh commanded by Moses.
