2 Beije-me ele com os beijos de sua boca;

Pois melhor é o teu *1.4;Ct 4.10amor do que o vinho.

3 Os teus *Ct 4.10;Jo 12.3perfumes têm um odor suave,

O teu *Ec 7.1nome é como unguento derramado,

Por isso as *Sl 45.14donzelas te amam.

4 Atrai-me tu; correremos após ti:

O *Sl 45.14-15rei acaba de me introduzir nos seus aposentos;

Nós nos alegraremos e regozijaremos em ti,

Faremos menção do teu amor mais do que do vinho;

É com razão que te amam.

5 Trigueira sou, mas *Ct 2.14;4.3;6.4formosa,

Ó *Ct 2.7;3.5,10;5.8,16;8.4filhas de Jerusalém,

Como as *Sl 120.5tendas de *Is 60.7Quedar,

Como os pavilhões de Salomão.

6 Não admireis de eu ser morena,

Porque o sol me mudou a cor.

*Sl 69.8Os filhos de minha mãe indignaram-se contra mim,

Puseram-me por *Ct 8.11;Jó 27.18guarda das vinhas;

A minha vinha, porém, não a guardei.

7 Dize-me, ó tu, *Ct 3.1-4a quem a minha alma ama:

Onde é que *Ct 2.16;6.3apascentas o teu rebanho, onde o fazes *Is 13.20;Jr 33.12descansar ao meio dia:

Pois por que, junto ao rebanho dos *Ct 8.13teus companheiros,

Seria eu como a que se cobre de véu?

8 Se não o sabes, ó tu, *Ct 5.9;6.1a mais bela das mulheres,

Vai-te em seguimento das pisadas dos rebanhos,

E apascenta os teus cabritos junto às tendas dos pastores.

12 Enquanto o rei estava sentado à sua mesa,

13 O meu amado é para mim como um saquitel de *Sl 45.8;Jo 19.39mirra,

Que está posta entre os meus seios.

14 O meu amado é para mim como um ramalhete da *Ct 4.13hena,

Nas vinhas de *1Sm 23.29En-Gedi.

15 *1.16;Ct 2.10,13;4.1,7;6.4,10Como és formosa, amada minha, como és formosa!

Os teus *Ct 4.1;5.12olhos são como pombas.

16 Como és formoso, *Ct 2.3,9,17;5.2,5,6,8, etc.amado meu, como és amável!

O nosso leito é de viçosa relva.

17 As traves da nossa casa são *1Rs 6.9-10;Jr 22.14cedros,

E as tábuas do nosso teto são *2Cr 3.5ciprestes.

8 If thou know not, O thou fairest among women, go thy way forth by the footsteps of the flock, and feed thy kids beside the shepherds’ tents. 9 I have compared thee, O my love, to a company of horses in Pharaoh’s chariots. 10 Thy cheeks are comely with rows of jewels, thy neck with chains of gold. 11 We will make thee borders of gold with studs of silver.
