1 "Quando alguém oferecer um sacrifício pacífico, e quiser oferecer gado, macho ou fêmea, oferecerá um que seja sem defeito ao Senhor.2 Ele porá a mão sobre a cabeça da vítima, e a imolará à entrada da tenda de reunião; e os sacerdotes, filhos de Aarão, aspergirão com seu sangue as paredes do altar ao redor.3 Deste sacrifício pacífico, oferecerá, à guisa de sacrifício pelo fogo ao Senhor, a gordura que envolve as entranhas e que está aderida a elas,4 os dois rins com a gordura que os envolve na região lombar e a pele que recobre o fígado, a qual será desprendida de junto dos rins.5 Os filhos de Aarão queimarão isso no altar, por cima do holocausto colocado sobre a lenha que está no fogo. Este é um sacrifício consumido pelo fogo, de agradável odor ao Senhor.6 Se oferecer do gado menor ao Senhor, como sacrifício pacífico, macho ou fêmea, oferecerá um que seja sem defeito.7 Se oferecer um cordeiro, apresentá-lo-á diante do Senhor,8 porá a mão sobre a cabeça da vítima e a imolará diante da tenda de reunião; em seguida, os filhos de Aarão derramarão o seu sangue em toda a volta do altar.9 Deste sacrifício pacífico oferecerá, à guisa de sacrifício pelo fogo ao Senhor, a gordura, a cauda inteira cortada rente à espinha, a gordura que envolve as entranhas e que se acha aderida a elas,10 os dois rins com a gordura que os envolve na região lombar e a pele que recobre o fígado, a qual será desprendida de junto dos rins.11 O sacerdote queimará isso no altar; este é o alimento de um sacrifício feito pelo fogo ao Senhor.12 Se sua oferta for uma cabra, apresentá-la-á diante do Senhor,13 porá a mão sobre sua cabeça e a imolará diante da tenda de reunião; e os filhos de Aarão derramarão o seu sangue sobre toda a volta do altar.14 Desta oferta oferecerá, à guisa de sacrifício feito pelo fogo ao Senhor, a gordura que envolve as entranhas e que se acha aderida a elas,15 os dois rins com a gordura que os recobre na região lombar, e a pele que recobre o fígado, a qual será desprendida de junto dos rins.16 O sacerdote os queimará sobre o altar; este é o alimento de um sacrifício oferecido pelo fogo, de agradável odor. Toda a gordura pertence ao Senhor.17 Essa é uma lei perpétua para vossos descendentes, onde quer que habiteis: não comereis gordura nem sangue."

1 And if his offering is a sacrifice of peace, if he offers [it] of the [bovine] cattle, whether [it is] male or female, he shall offer it without blemish before the LORD.2 And he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering and kill it [at] the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and Aaron's sons the priests shall sprinkle the blood upon the altar round about.3 Then he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace for an offering on fire unto the LORD: the fat that covers the intestines and all the fat that [is] upon the inwards,4 and the two kidneys and the fat that [is] on them, which is by the flanks and with the kidneys; he shall take away the caul above the liver.5 And Aaron's sons shall incense it on the altar with the burnt sacrifice, which [shall be] upon the wood that [is] on the fire; [and this shall be] an offering on fire, of a very acceptable aroma unto the LORD.6 And if his offering for a sacrifice of peace unto the LORD is of the sheep, male or female, he shall offer it without blemish.7 If he offers a lamb for his offering, he shall offer it before the LORD;8 and he shall lay his hand upon the head of his offering and then kill it before the tabernacle of the testimony; and Aaron's sons shall sprinkle its blood round about upon the altar.9 And he shall offer of the sacrifice of the peace an offering on fire unto the LORD: its fat [and] the whole tail, which he shall take off from the backbone and the fat that covers the intestines and all the fat that [is] upon the inwards,10 likewise the two kidneys and the fat that [is] upon them and that which [is upon the flanks and with the kidneys he shall take away the caul above the liver.11 And the priest shall incense it upon the altar, [and this shall be] the food of the offering on fire unto the LORD.12 And if his offering [is] a goat, then he shall offer it before the LORD;13 and he shall lay his hand upon the head of it and kill it before the tabernacle of the testimony; and the sons of Aaron shall sprinkle its blood upon the altar round about.14 Then he shall offer thereof his offering, [even] an offering on fire unto the LORD: the fat that covers the intestines and all the fat that [is] upon the inwards,15 and the two kidneys and the fat that [is] upon them and that which [is] upon the flanks and with the kidneys he shall take away the caul above the liver.16 And the priest shall incense them upon the altar; [and this shall be] the food of the offering on fire of a very acceptable aroma unto the LORD; all the fat [is] the LORD'S.17 [It shall be] a perpetual statute for your ages; throughout all your dwellings that ye shall eat no fat and no blood.:
