1 O Senhor disse a Moisés:2 "Toma a Aarão e seus filhos, as vestes, o óleo para a unção, o touro do sacrifício pelo pecado, os dois carneiros e a cesta de pães ázimos,3 e convoca toda a assembléia à entrada da tenda de reunião".4 Moisés fez o que lhe ordenou o Senhor, e a assembléia se reuniu à entrada da tenda de reunião.5 Moisés disse então: "Eis o que o Senhor ordenou que se fizesse".6 Fez aproximarem-se Aarão e seus filhos e os lavou com água.7 Vestiu Aarão com a túnica, a cintura e o manto; pôs sobre ele o efod, e cingiu-o com a cintura do efod, atando-o.8 Pôs-lhe em seguida o peitoral, ao qual fixou o urim e o tumim.9 Cobriu-lhe a cabeça com a tiara, diante da qual colocou a lâmina de ouro, o santo diadema, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.10 Tomou, além disso, o óleo da unção, ungiu com ele o tabernáculo e tudo o que continha, e os consagrou.11 Aspergiu sete vezes o altar e ungiu-o com todos os seus utensílios, assim como a bacia e seu pedestal, para consagrá-los.12 Derramou o óleo da unção na cabeça de Aarão para consagrá-lo.13 Depois mandou que se aproximassem os filhos de Aarão, e os revestiu de túnicas e de cinturas, pondo-lhes também mitras nas cabeças, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.14 Então mandou vir o touro do sacrifício pelo pecado, e Aarão e seus filhos puseram as mãos sobre a sua cabeça.15 Moisés o imolou, tomou o sangue e, com o dedo, o pôs sobre os cornos do altar, purificando o altar; derramou o resto ao pé do altar e o consagrou, fazendo sobre ele a expiação.16 Tomou, em seguida, toda a gordura que envolve as entranhas, a pele que recobre o fígado e os dois rins com sua gordura, e os queimou no altar.17 Mas queimou fora do acampamento o touro, seu couro, sua carne e seus excrementos, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.18 Mandou vir o carneiro do holocausto, sobre cuja cabeça Aarão e seus filhos impuseram as mãos.19 Foi imolado, e Moisés derramou seu sangue em todo o redor do altar.20 Foi, em seguida, cortado em pedaços, e Moisés queimou a cabeça aos pedaços a gordura.21 Lavaram com água as entranhas e as patas, e Moisés queimou o carneiro todo sobre o altar: era um holocausto de agradável odor, um sacrifício consumido pelo fogo ao Senhor, como o Senhor o tinha ordenado a Moisés.22 Mandou que se aproximasse o outro carneiro, o carneiro de empossamento, sobre cuja cabeça Aarão e seus filhos impuseram as mãos.23 Moisés o imolou, tomou seu sangue e o pôs na ponta da orelha direita de Aarão e nos polegares de sua mão direita e do seu pé direito.24 E mandou então que se aproximassem os filhos de Aarão: pôs-lhes o sangue na ponta da orelha direita, no polegar da mão direita e no hálux do pé direito; e derramou o resto do sangue em todo o redor do altar.25 Depois tomou a gordura, a cauda, toda a gordura que envolve as entranhas, a pele que recobre o fígado, os dois rins com sua gordura e a coxa direita.26 Tomou também da cesta de pães ázimos, colocada diante do Senhor, um bolo amassado sem fermento, um bolo amassado com óleo e uma bolacha, e os pôs sobre a gordura e a coxa direita.27 Meteu tudo isso nas mãos de Aarão e de seus filhos para agitá-los como oferta diante do Senhor.28 Tomou-os em seguida Moisés nas suas próprias mãos e os queimou sobre o altar, por cima do holocausto; este foi o sacrifício de empossamento, de agradável odor, consumado pelo fogo ao Senhor.29 Tomou também o peito do carneiro de empossamento e o agitou como oferta diante do Senhor a sua porção, como o Senhor lhe tinha ordenado.30 Tomou, finalmente, o óleo de unção e o sangue que estava sobre o altar e aspergiu sobre Aarão e suas vestes, seus filhos e suas vestes, e consagrou assim Aarão e seus filhos com suas vestes.31 Depois Moisés disse-lhes: "Cozei a carne à entrada da tenda de reunião; ali a comereis com o pão que está na cesta de empossamento, como vos ordenei quando disse: Aarão e seus filhos a comerão.32 O que sobrar da carne e do pão, queimá-lo-eis no fogo.33 Não saireis da entrada da tenda de reunião durante sete dias, até se cumprirem os dias de vosso empossamento, o qual durará sete dias.34 O que se fez hoje, prescreveu o Senhor que se faça novamente, em expiação por vós.35 Ficareis, pois, sete dias à entrada da tenda de reunião, dia e noite, e observareis as ordens do Senhor, para que não morrais. Esta é a ordem que recebi".36 Aarão e seus filhos fizeram tudo o que o Senhor lhes tinha ordenado por Moisés.

1 And the LORD spoke unto Moses, saying,2 Take Aaron and his sons with him and the garments and the anointing oil and the bullock for the sin and the two rams and the basket of unleavened bread3 and gather all the congregation together at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.4 And Moses did as the LORD commanded him, and the congregation was gathered together unto the door of the tabernacle of the testimony.5 And Moses said unto the congregation, This [is] what the LORD has commanded to be done.6 Then Moses brought Aaron and his sons and washed them with water.7 And he put upon him the coat and girded him with the girdle and then clothed him with the robe and put the ephod upon him, and he girded him with the special girdle of the ephod and bound [it] unto him therewith.8 Then he put the pectoral upon him, and he put in the pectoral the Urim and the Thummim.9 After that he put the mitre upon his head; also upon the mitre, [even] upon his forefront, he put the open flower of gold, the crown of holiness, as the LORD had commanded Moses.10 And Moses took the anointing oil and anointed the tabernacle and all the things that [were] therein and sanctified them.11 And he sprinkled thereof upon the altar seven times and anointed the altar and all its vessels, and the laver and its base, to sanctify them.12 And he poured of the anointing oil upon Aaron's head and anointed him, to sanctify him.13 Then Moses brought Aaron's sons and put coats upon them and girded them with girdles and put tiaras upon them, as the LORD had commanded Moses.14 Next he brought the bullock of the sin, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the bullock of the sin,15 and he slew [it]; and Moses took the blood and put [it] upon the horns of the altar round about with his finger and removed the sin from the altar and poured the [remaining] blood at the bottom of the altar and sanctified it, to make reconciliation upon it.16 After that he took all the fat that [was] upon the intestines and the caul [above] the liver and the two kidneys, and their fat, and Moses incensed [it][ upon the altar.17 But the bullock and its hide, its flesh, and its dung, he burnt with fire outside the camp, as the LORD had commanded Moses.18 After that, he brought the ram of the burnt offering, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram,19 and he killed [it]; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about.20 And he cut the ram into pieces, and Moses incensed the head and the pieces and the fat.21 Then he washed the intestines and the legs in water, and Moses burnt the whole ram upon the altar; it [was] a burnt sacrifice in a very acceptable aroma, an offering on fire unto the LORD, as the LORD had commanded Moses.22 After that, he brought the other ram, the ram of the consecrations, and Aaron and his sons laid their hands upon the head of the ram,23 and he slew [it]; and Moses took of the blood of it and put it upon the tip of Aaron's right ear and upon the thumb of his right hand and upon the great toe of his right foot.24 And he brought Aaron's sons, and Moses put of the blood upon the tip of their right ears and upon the thumbs of their right hands and upon the great toes of their right feet; and Moses sprinkled the blood upon the altar round about;25 and after that, he took the fat and the tail, and all the fat that [was] upon the intestines and the caul [above] the liver, and the two kidneys and their fat and the right shoulder;26 and out of the basket of unleavened bread that [was] before the LORD he took one unleavened cake and a cake of oiled bread and one wafer and put [them] with the fat and with the right shoulder;27 and he put all of it in Aaron's hands and in his sons' hands and caused them to be waved [for] a wave offering before the LORD.28 After that Moses took them from their hands and incensed [them] on the altar upon the burnt offering; they [are] the consecrations in a very acceptable aroma, an offering on fire unto the LORD.29 And Moses took the breast and waved it [for a wave offering before the LORD; [for] of the ram of the consecrations this was Moses' part, as the LORD had commanded Moses.30 Then Moses took of the anointing oil and of the blood which [was] upon the altar and sprinkled [it] upon Aaron [and] upon his garments and upon his sons and upon his sons' garments with him and sanctified Aaron [and] his garments, and his sons and his sons' garments with him.31 And Moses said unto Aaron and to his sons, Cook the flesh [at] the door of the tabernacle of the testimony, and eat it there with the bread that [is] in the basket of the consecrations, as I have commanded, saying, Aaron and his sons shall eat it.32 And that which remains of the flesh and of the bread ye shall burn with fire.33 And ye shall not go out of the door of the tabernacle of the testimony [in] seven days, until the day that the days of your consecration are fulfilled; because for seven days ye shall be consecrated.34 As has been done this day, so the LORD has commanded to do, to reconcile you.35 Therefore shall ye abide [at] the door of the tabernacle of the testimony day and night for seven days and keep the charge of the LORD, that ye die not; for so I am commanded.36 So Aaron and his sons did all things which the LORD commanded by the hand of Moses.:
