Cânticos 6

MRI2012

Friends

1 Where has your beloved gone, you fairest among women?

Where has your beloved turned, that we may seek him with you?

Beloved

2 My beloved has gone down to his garden,

to the beds of spices,

to pasture his flock in the gardens, and to gather lilies.

3 I am my beloveds, and my beloved is mine.

He browses among the lilies.

Lover

4 You are beautiful, my love, as Tirzah,

lovely as Jerusalem,

awesome as an army with banners.

5 Turn away your eyes from me,

for they have overcome me.

Your hair is like a flock of goats,

that lie along the side of Gilead.

6 Your teeth are like a flock of ewes,

which have come up from the washing,

of which every one has twins;

not one is bereaved among them.

7 Your temples are like a piece of a pomegranate behind your veil.

8 There are sixty queens, eighty concubines,

and virgins without number.

9 My dove, my perfect one, is unique.

She is her mother’s only daughter.

She is the favorite one of her who bore her.

The daughters saw her, and called her blessed.

The queens and the concubines saw her, and they praised her.

10 Who is she who looks out as the morning,

beautiful as the moon,

clear as the sun,

and awesome as an army with banners?

11 I went down into the nut tree grove,

to see the green plants of the valley,

to see whether the vine budded,

and the pomegranates were in flower.

12 Without realizing it,

my desire set me with my royal peoples chariots.

Friends

13 Return, return, Shulammite!

Return, return, that we may gaze at you.

Lover

Why do you desire to gaze at the Shulammite,

as at the dance of Mahanaim?

Ngā Hoa

1 Kua riro ki hea tāu e aroha ,

e te wahine ātaahua rawa o ngā wāhine?

I anga ki hea tāu e aroha ,

kia rapu tahi ai mātou me koe?

Te Wahine

2 Kua riro tāku e aroha nei ki raro, ki tāna kāri,

ki ngā tupuranga o ngā kīnaki kakara,

ki ngā kāri kai ai,

ki te kato i ngā rengarenga.

3 tāku e aroha nei ahau, ā, nāku tāku e aroha nei;

kei ngā rengarenga ia e whāngai ana i tāna kāhui.

Te Ātaahua Whakaharahara o te Wahine Mārena

Te Tāne

4 He ātaahua koe, e tōku hoa he pērā me Tirita;

he āhuareka koe, pērā me Hiruhārama,

he whakamataku pērā me te taua e tare ana ngā kara.

5 Tahuri atu ōu kanohi i ahau,

ka riro hoki ahau i a rāua.

Ko ōu makawe koia anō kei te kāhui koati

e takoto ana i te taha o Kireara.

6 Ko ōu niho ānō he kāhui hipi uha

e haere mai ana i te horoi,

rite katoa i te māhanga,

kāhore hoki he pakoro i roto i a rātou.

7 Rite tonu ki tētahi wāhi o te pamekaranete ōu rahirahinga

i muri i tōu ārai.

8 E ono tekau ēnei kuīni, e waru tekau ngā wāhine iti,

me ngā wāhina e kore e taea te tatau.

9 Ko tāku kūkupa, ko tāku mea pokekore, he mea kotahi noa;

ko ia anake tōna whaea;

ko ia te mea i paingia rawatia e te wahine i whānau ai ia.

I kite ngā tamāhine i a ia, kei te manaaki i a ia;

āe , ko ngā kuīni me ngā wāhine iti,

whakamoemiti ana rātou ki a ia.

10 "Ko wai tēnei e mātakitaki mai nei, ānō ko te ata,

ātaahua tonu ānō ko te marama, mārama rawa, koia anō kei te ,

whakawehi rawa, me te mea he taua e tare ana ngā kara?"

11 I haere atu ahau ki te kāri nati,

kia kite i ngā taru matomato o te awaawa;

kia kite e tupu ana rānei te wāina,

e kōpuku ana rānei ngā pamekaranete.

12 Mōhio rawa ake ahau kua meinga ahau e tōku wairua kia tau

ki waenga ki ngā hāriata o tōku iwi rangatira.

Ngā Hoa

13 Hoki mai, hoki mai, e te Hurami!

Hoki mai, hoki mai, kia mātakitaki ai mātou ki a koe.

Te Tāne

He aha koutou e titiro ai ki te Hurami,

me te mea ko te haka o Mahanaima?
