1 Blessed is the man who doesn’t walk in the counsel of the wicked,

nor stand on the path of sinners,

nor sit in the seat of scoffers;

2 but his delight is in Yahweh’s* law.

On his law he meditates day and night.

3 He will be like a tree planted by the streams of water,

that produces its fruit in its season,

whose leaf also does not wither.

Whatever he does shall prosper.

4 The wicked are not so,

but are like the chaff which the wind drives away.

5 Therefore the wicked shall not stand in the judgment,

nor sinners in the congregation of the righteous.

6 For Yahweh knows the way of the righteous,

but the way of the wicked shall perish.

1 BIENAVENTURADO el varón que no anduvo en consejo de malos,

Ni estuvo en camino de pecadores,

Ni en silla de ✝escarnecedores se ha sentado;

2 Antes en la ley de Jehová está su delicia,

Y ✝en su ley medita de día y de noche.

3 Y será ✝como el árbol plantado junto á arroyos de aguas,

Que da su fruto en su tiempo,

Y su hoja no cae;

Y todo lo que hace, ✝prosperará.

4 No así los malos:

Sino ✝como el tamo que arrebata el viento.

5 Por tanto no ✝se levantarán los malos en el juicio,

Ni los pecadores en la congregación de los justos.

6 Porque ✝Jehová conoce el camino de los justos;

Mas la senda de los malos perecerá.
