1 Assim diz o Senhor Deus: A porta do átrio interior que dá para o oriente, estará fechada durante os seis dias que são de trabalho; mas no dia de sábado ela se abrirá; também no dia da lua nova se abrirá.2 E o príncipe entrará pelo caminho do vestíbulo da porta, por fora, e permanecerá junto da ombreira da porta; e os sacerdotes prepararão o holocausto, e os sacrifícios pacíficos dele; e ele adorará junto ao umbral da porta, e sairá; mas a porta não se fechará até à tarde.3 E o povo da terra adorará à entrada da mesma porta, nos sábados e nas luas novas, diante do Senhor.4 E o holocausto, que o príncipe oferecer ao Senhor, será, no dia de sábado, seis cordeiros sem mancha e um carneiro sem mancha.5 E a oferta de alimentos será um efa para o carneiro; e para o cordeiro, a oferta de alimentos será o que puder dar; e de azeite um him para cada efa.6 Mas no dia da lua nova será um bezerro sem mancha, e seis cordeiros e um carneiro; eles serão sem mancha.7 E preparará por oferta de manjares um efa para o bezerro e um efa para o carneiro, mas para os cordeiros, o que a sua mão puder dar; e um him de azeite para um efa.8 E, quando entrar o príncipe, entrará pelo caminho do vestíbulo da porta, e sairá pelo mesmo caminho.9 Mas, quando vier o povo da terra perante a face do Senhor nas solenidades, aquele que entrar pelo caminho da porta do norte, para adorar, sairá pelo caminho da porta do sul; e aquele que entrar pelo caminho da porta do sul sairá pelo caminho da porta do norte; não tornará pelo caminho da porta por onde entrou, mas sairá pela outra que está oposta.10 E o príncipe entrará no meio deles; quando eles entrarem e, saindo eles, sairão todos.11 E nas festas e nas solenidades a oferta de alimentos será um efa para o bezerro, e um efa para o carneiro, mas para os cordeiros o que puder dar; e de azeite um him para um efa.12 E, quando o príncipe fizer oferta voluntária de holocaustos, ou de sacrifícios pacíficos, uma oferta voluntária ao Senhor, então lhe abrirão a porta que dá para o oriente, e fará o seu holocausto e os seus sacrifícios pacíficos, como houver feito no dia de sábado; e sairá, e se fechará a porta depois dele sair.13 E prepararás um cordeiro de um ano sem mancha, em holocausto ao Senhor, cada dia; todas as manhãs o prepararás.14 E, juntamente com ele prepararás uma oferta de alimentos, todas as manhãs, a sexta parte de um efa, e de azeite a terça parte de um him, para misturar com a flor de farinha; por oferta de alimentos para o Senhor, em estatutos perpétuos e contínuos.15 Assim prepararão o cordeiro, e a oferta de alimentos, e o azeite, todas as manhãs, em holocausto contínuo.16 Assim diz o Senhor Deus: Quando o príncipe der um presente a algum de seus filhos, é sua herança, pertencerá a seus filhos; será possessão deles por herança.17 Mas, dando ele um presente da sua herança a algum dos seus servos, será deste até ao ano da liberdade; então tornará para o príncipe, porque herança dele é; seus filhos a herdarão.18 E o príncipe não tomará nada da herança do povo por opressão, defraudando-os da sua possessão; da sua própria possessão deixará herança a seus filhos, para que o meu povo não seja separado, cada um da sua possessão.19 Depois disto me trouxe pela entrada que estava ao lado da porta, às câmaras santas dos sacerdotes, que olhavam para o norte; e eis que ali havia um lugar nos fundos extremos, para o lado do ocidente.20 E ele me disse: Este é o lugar onde os sacerdotes cozerão a oferta pela culpa, e a oferta pelo pecado, e onde cozerão a oferta de alimentos, para que não as tragam ao átrio exterior para santificarem o povo.21 Então me levou para fora, para o átrio exterior, e me fez passar pelos quatro cantos do átrio; e eis que em cada canto do átrio havia outro átrio.22 Nos quatro cantos do átrio havia outros átrios juntos, de quarenta côvados de comprimento e de trinta de largura; estes quatro cantos tinham uma mesma medida.23 E havia uma fileira construída ao redor deles, ao redor dos quatro; e havia cozinhas feitas por baixo das fileiras ao redor.24 E me disse: Estas são as cozinhas, onde os ministros da casa cozerão o sacrifício do povo.

1 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, The gate of the inner court that looketh toward the east shall remain locked the six working days; but on the sabbath day shall it be opened, and on the new–moon day shall it be opened.2 And the prince shall enter by the way of the porch of the gate, from without, and shall stand by the door–post of the gate, and the priests shall prepare his burnt–offering and his peace–offerings, and he shall bow himself down at the threshold of the gate, and he shall then go forth; but the gate shall not be locked until the evening.3 And the people of the land shall bow themselves down at the door of this same gate on the sabbaths and on the new–moons before the Lord.4 And the burnt–offering which the prince is to offer unto the Lord, shall be on the sabbath–day six sheep without blemish, and a ram without blemish;5 And as a meat–offering an ephah for the ram, and for the sheep a meat–offering as his hand may be able to give, and a hin of oil for every ephah.6 And on the day of the new moon, a young bullock without blemish, and six sheep and a ram; without blemish shall they be.7 And an ephah for the bullock, and an ephah for the ram, shall he prepare as a meat–offering, and for the sheep according as his means may reach, and a hin of oil for every ephah.8 And when the prince doth enter, he shall go in by the way of the porch of the gate, and by the same way shall he go forth.9 But when the people of the land come before the Lord on the appointed feasts, he that entereth in by the way of the north gate to bow himself down shall go out by the way of the south gate; and he that entereth by the way of the south gate shall go out by the way of the north gate: he shall not return by the way of the gate whereby he came in; but by that opposite to him shall he go out.10 And as for the prince––in the midst of them, when they go in, shall he go in; and when they go out, shall they go out together.11 And on the feasts and on the appointed festivals shall the meat–offering be an ephah for each bullock, and an ephah for each ram, and for the sheep as his hand may be able to give, and a hin of oil for every ephah.12 And when the prince doth prepare as a voluntary gift a burnt–offering, or a peace–offering, as a voluntary gift unto the Lord: then shall be opened for him the gate that looketh toward the east, and he shall prepare his burnt–offering and his peace–offering, as he usually doth on the sabbath–day; and he shall go out, and the gate shall be locked after his going out.13 And a sheep of the first year without blemish shalt thou prepare as a burnt–offering every day unto the Lord: morning by morning shalt thou prepare it.14 And as a meat–offering shalt thou prepare with it, morning by morning, the sixth part of an ephah, and the third of a hin of oil, to mingle with the fine flour––a meat–offering unto the Lord, as ordinances for ever continually.15 Thus shall they prepare the sheep, and the meat–offering, and the oil, morning by morning, as a continual burnt–offering.16 Thus hath said the Lord Eternal, If the prince make gift unto any one of his sons, it is his inheritance, it shall belong to his sons: it shall be their possession as their inheritance.17 But if he make a gift of his inheritance to one of his servants: then shall it remain his to the year of freedom, when it shall return to the prince; but his inheritance shall only remain for his sons.18 But the prince shall not take any thing from the inheritance of the people, to wrong them out of their possession: out of his own possession can he give an inheritance to his sons; in order that not one of my people be deprived of his possession.19 And then he brought me through the entry, which was at the side of the gate, into the holy chambers for the priests, which looked toward the north: and, behold, there was a place by the back wall on the west side.20 And he said unto me, This is the place where the priests shall boil the trespass–offering and the sin–offering, where also they shall bake the meat–offering; so as not to carry the same out into the outer court, to mingle with the people.21 Then did he lead me forth into the outer court, and caused me to pass along the four corners of the court; and, behold, in every corner of the court there was a court.22 In the four corners of the court there were uncovered courts of forty cubits in length and thirty in breadth: there was one measure for all these four in the corners.23 And there was a shelf of masonry round about in them, round about all these four, and it was furnished with hearths for boiling under the shelves round about.24 Then said he unto me, These are the places of those that boil, where the servants of the house shall boil the sacrifice of the people.
