1 Ho Eternulo, ne tenas sin alte mia koro, kaj ne leviĝas alte miaj okuloj;

Kaj mi ne okupas min per aferoj grandaj kaj neatingeblaj por mi.

2 Mi trankviligis kaj kvietigis mian animon;

Kiel infano formetita for de la mamo de sia patrino, kiel infano demamigita,

Tiel estas en mi mia animo.

3 Ho Izrael, fidu la Eternulon,

De nun kaj eterne.

1 Jehovah, my heart is not haughty, nor mine eyes lofty;

Neither do I exercise myself in great matters,

Or in things too wonderful for me.

2 Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul;

Like a weaned child with his mother,
