1 — São estes os nomes das tribos: desde a parte extrema do norte, via Hetlom, até a entrada de Hamate, até Hazar-Enom, o limite norte de Damasco até junto de Hamate e desde o lado leste até o oeste, Dã terá uma porção. 2 Limitando-se com Dã, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste, Aser terá uma porção. 3 Limitando-se com Aser, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste, Naftali terá uma porção. 4 Limitando-se com Naftali, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste, Manassés terá uma porção. 5 Limitando-se com Manassés, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste, Efraim terá uma porção. 6 Limitando-se com Efraim, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste, Rúben terá uma porção. 7 Limitando-se com Rúben, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste, Judá terá uma porção. 8 Limitando-se com Judá, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste, ficará a região sagrada que vocês devem separar. Terá doze quilômetros e meio de largura e o mesmo comprimento que o das outras porções, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste; o santuário estará no meio dela. 9 A região que vocês devem separar ao Senhor terá doze quilômetros e meio de comprimento e cinco quilômetros de largura. 10 Esta região sagrada será dos sacerdotes. Terá, ao norte, doze quilômetros e meio, a oeste, cinco quilômetros de largura, a leste, cinco quilômetros de largura e ao sul, doze quilômetros e meio de comprimento; o santuário do Senhor estará no meio dela. 11 Será para os sacerdotes santificados, para os filhos de Zadoque, que cumpriram o seu dever e não se desviaram como fizeram os levitas, quando os filhos de Israel se desviaram. 12 Será uma região especial dentro da região sagrada, um lugar santíssimo, fazendo limites com a porção dos levitas.

13 — Os levitas terão uma área de doze quilômetros e meio de comprimento por cinco quilômetros de largura, paralela à porção dos sacerdotes. Seu comprimento total será de doze quilômetros e meio, e a largura será de cinco quilômetros. 14 Não poderão vender nem trocar nenhuma parte dessa área. A melhor parte da terra não pode ser transferida a outros, porque é santa para o Senhor.

15 — A área que restar, de dois quilômetros e meio de largura por doze quilômetros e meio de comprimento será para o uso civil da cidade, para habitação e para arredores; a cidade ficará no meio. 16 Estas serão as suas dimensões: o lado norte, de dois mil duzentos e cinquenta metros, o lado sul, de dois mil duzentos e cinquenta metros, o lado leste, de dois mil duzentos e cinquenta metros, e o lado oeste, de dois mil duzentos e cinquenta metros. 17 Os arredores da cidade serão, ao norte, de cento e vinte e cinco metros, ao sul, de cento e vinte e cinco metros, a leste, de cento e vinte e cinco metros e, a oeste, de cento e vinte e cinco metros. 18 Quanto à área restante, paralela à região sagrada, será de cinco quilômetros para o leste e de cinco quilômetros para o oeste; e o seu produto será para o sustento daqueles que trabalham na cidade. 19 Essa parte será cultivada pelos trabalhadores da cidade, provindos de todas as tribos de Israel. 20 A região sagrada terá doze quilômetros e meio de cada lado, formando um quadrado, e incluirá a propriedade da cidade.

21 — O que restar de ambos os lados da região sagrada e da propriedade da cidade será do príncipe. Aquilo que se estende dos doze quilômetros e meio em direção do leste e também dos doze quilômetros e meio em direção oeste, paralelamente com as porções, será do príncipe; a região sagrada e o santuário do templo estarão no meio. 22 A área que pertence aos levitas e à cidade estará no meio daquilo que pertence ao príncipe. A área entre o território de Judá e o território de Benjamim será do príncipe.

23 — Quanto ao resto das tribos, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste, Benjamim terá uma porção. 24 Limitando-se com Benjamim, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste, Simeão terá uma porção. 25 Limitando-se com Simeão, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste, Issacar terá uma porção. 26 Limitando-se com Issacar, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste, Zebulom terá uma porção. 27 Limitando-se com Zebulom, desde o lado leste até o lado oeste, Gade terá uma porção. 28 Limitando-se com o território de Gade, ao sul, o limite será desde Tamar até as águas de Meribá-Cades, ao longo do ribeiro do Egito até o mar Grande.

29 — Esta é a terra que vocês repartirão como herança para as tribos de Israel, e estas são as suas porções, diz o Senhor Deus.

30 — São estas as saídas da cidade: do lado norte, que mede dois mil duzentos e cinquenta metros, 31 três portões: o portão de Rúben, o de Judá e o de Levi, sendo que os portões da cidade terão os nomes das tribos de Israel; 32 do lado leste, dois mil duzentos e cinquenta metros e três portões, a saber: o portão de José, o de Benjamim e o de Dã; 33 do lado sul, dois mil duzentos e cinquenta metros e três portões: o portão de Simeão, o de Issacar e o de Zebulom; 34 do lado oeste, dois mil duzentos e cinquenta metros e os seus três portões: o portão de Gade, o de Aser e o de Naftali. 35 O contorno será de nove quilômetros. E o nome da cidade desde aquele dia será: "O Senhor Está Ali".

1 Now these are the names of the tribes: From the north end, beside the way of Hethlon to the entrance of Hamath, Hazar-enan at the border of Damascus, northward beside Hamath, (and they shall have their sides east [and] west), Dan,2 And by the border of Dan, from the east side to the west side, Asher, one [portion].3 And by the border of Asher, from the east side even to the west side, Naphtali, one [portion].4 And by the border of Naphtali, from the east side to the west side, Manasseh, one [portion].5 And by the border of Manasseh, from the east side to the west side, Ephraim, one [portion].6 And by the border of Ephraim, from the east side even to the west side, Reuben, one [portion].7 And by the border of Reuben, from the east side to the west side, Judah, one [portion].8 And by the border of Judah, from the east side to the west side, shall be the oblation which ye shall offer: twenty-five thousand [reeds] in breadth, and in length as one of the portions, from the east side to the west side. And th9 The oblation that ye shall offer to LORD shall be twenty-five thousand [reeds] in length, and ten thousand in breadth.10 And for these, even for the priests, shall be the holy oblation: toward the north twenty-five thousand [in length], and toward the west ten thousand in breadth, and toward the east ten thousand in breadth, and toward the south twen11 [It shall be] for the priests who are sanctified of the sons of Zadok, who have kept my charge, who did not go astray when the sons of Israel went astray, as the Levites went astray.12 And it shall be to them an oblation from the oblation of the land, a thing most holy, by the border of the Levites.13 And answerable to the border of the priests, the Levites shall have twenty-five thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth. All the length shall be twenty-five thousand, and the breadth ten thousand.14 And they shall sell none of it, nor exchange it, nor shall the first-fruits of the land be alienated, for it is holy to LORD.15 And the five thousand that are left in the breadth, in front of the twenty-five thousand, shall be for common use, for the city, for dwelling and for suburbs. And the city shall be in the midst of it.16 And these shall be the measures of it: the north side four thousand and five hundred, and the south side four thousand and five hundred, and on the east side four thousand and five hundred, and the west side four thousand and five17 And the city shall have suburbs: toward the north two hundred and fifty, and toward the south two hundred and fifty, and toward the east two hundred and fifty, and toward the west two hundred and fifty.18 And the residue in the length, answerable to the holy oblation, shall be ten thousand eastward, and ten thousand westward. And it shall be answerable to the holy oblation. And the increase of it shall be for food to those who labor19 And those who labor in the city, out of all the tribes of Israel, shall till it.20 All the oblation shall be twenty-five thousand by twenty-five thousand. Ye shall offer the holy oblation four-square, with the possession of the city.21 And the residue shall be for the ruler, on the one side and on the other of the holy oblation and of the possession of the city, in front of the twenty-five thousand of the oblation toward the east border, and westward in front of22 Moreover from the possession of the Levites, and from the possession of the city, being in the midst of that which is the ruler's, between the border of Judah and the border of Benjamin, it shall be for the ruler.23 And as for the rest of the tribes, from the east side to the west side, Benjamin, one [portion].24 And by the border of Benjamin, from the east side to the west side, Simeon, one [portion].25 And by the border of Simeon, from the east side to the west side, Issachar, one [portion].26 And by the border of Issachar, from the east side to the west side, Zebulun, one [portion].27 And by the border of Zebulun, from the east side to the west side, Gad, one [portion].28 And by the border of Gad, at the south side southward, the border shall be even from Tamar to the waters of Meribath-kadesh, to the brook [of Egypt], to the great sea.29 This is the land which ye shall divide by lot to the tribes of Israel for inheritance, and these are their several portions, says lord LORD.30 And these are the exits of the city: On the north side four thousand and five hundred [reeds] by measure.31 And the gates of the city shall be according to the names of the tribes of Israel, three gates northward: the gate of Reuben, one, the gate of Judah, one, the gate of Levi, one.32 And at the east side four thousand and five hundred [reeds], and three gates: even the gate of Joseph, one, the gate of Benjamin, one, the gate of Dan, one.33 And at the south side four thousand and five hundred [reeds] by measure, and three gates: the gate of Simeon, one, the gate of Issachar, one, the gate of Zebulun, one.34 At the west side four thousand and five hundred [reeds], with their three gates: the gate of Gad, one, the gate of Asher, one, the gate of Naphtali, one.35 It shall be eighteen thousand [reeds] round about. And the name of the city from that day shall be, LORD is there.
