1 Cantem ao Senhor
um cântico novo,
porque ele tem feito maravilhas;
a sua mão direita
e o seu braço santo
lhe alcançaram a vitória.
2 O Senhor fez notória
a sua salvação;
manifestou a sua justiça
diante dos olhos das nações.
3 Lembrou-se da sua misericórdia
e da sua fidelidade
para com a casa de Israel;
todos os confins da terra viram
a salvação do nosso Deus.
4 Celebrem com júbilo ao Senhor,
todos os moradores da terra;
gritem de alegria,
exultem e cantem louvores.
5 Cantem com harpa
louvores ao Senhor,
com harpa e voz de canto;
6 com trombetas
e ao som de buzinas,
exultem diante do Senhor,
que é rei.
7 Ruja o mar e a sua plenitude,
o mundo e os que nele habitam.
8 Os rios batam palmas,
e juntos cantem de júbilo
os montes,
9 na presença do Senhor,
porque ele vem julgar a terra;
julgará o mundo com justiça
e os povos, com retidão.

1 O sing to the LORD a new song; for he has done marvelous things: his right hand, and his holy arm, has gotten him the victory.2 The LORD has made known his salvation: his righteousness has he openly showed in the sight of the heathen.3 He has remembered his mercy and his truth toward the house of Israel: all the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God.4 Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth: make a loud noise, and rejoice, and sing praise.5 Sing to the LORD with the harp; with the harp, and the voice of a psalm.6 With trumpets and sound of cornet make a joyful noise before the LORD, the King.7 Let the sea roar, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein.8 Let the floods clap their hands: let the hills be joyful together9 Before the LORD; for he comes to judge the earth: with righteousness shall he judge the world, and the people with equity.
