1 Aleluia! Darei graças ao Senhor de todo o coração na reunião da congregação dos justos.2 Grandes são as obras do Senhor; nelas meditam todos os que as apreciam.3 Os seus feitos manifestam majestade e esplendor, e a sua justiça dura para sempre.4 Ele fez proclamar as suas maravilhas; o Senhor é misericordioso e compassivo.5 Deu alimento aos que o temiam, pois sempre se lembra de sua aliança.6 Mostrou ao seu povo os seus feitos poderosos, dando-lhes as terras das nações.7 As obras das suas mãos são fiéis e justas; todos os seus preceitos merecem confiança.8 Estão firmes para sempre, estabelecidos com fidelidade e retidão.9 Ele trouxe redenção ao seu povo e firmou a sua aliança para sempre. Santo e temível é o seu nome!10 O temor do Senhor é o princípio da sabedoria; todos os que cumprem os seus preceitos revelam bom senso. Ele será louvado para sempre!

1 Praise ye the LORD. I will praise the LORD with my whole heart, in the assembly of the upright, and in the congregation.2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out by all them that have pleasure in them.3 His work is honorable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.5 He hath given food to them that fear him: he will ever be mindful of his covenant.6 He hath shown his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.8 They stand fast for ever and ever, and are done in truth and uprightness.9 He sent redemption to his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom: a good understanding have all they that do his commandments: his praise endureth for ever.
