1 O Senhor reina! Vestiu-se de majestade; de majestade vestiu-se o Senhor e armou-se de poder! O mundo está firme e não se abalará.2 O teu trono está firme desde a antigüidade; tu existes desde a eternidade.3 As águas se levantaram, Senhor, as águas levantaram a voz; as águas levantaram seu bramido.4 Mais poderoso do que o estrondo das águas impetuosas, mais poderoso do que as ondas do mar é o Senhor nas alturas.5 Os teus mandamentos permanecem firmes e fiéis; a santidade, Senhor, é o ornamento perpétuo da tua casa.

1 The LORD reigneth, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, with which he hath girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.2 Thy throne is established of old: thou art from everlasting.3 The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift their waves.4 The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yes, than the mighty waves of the sea.5 Thy testimonies are very sure: holiness becometh thy house, O LORD, for ever.
