1 O Senhor disse a Moisés: 2 "Diz ao povo de Israel que quem quiser pode trazer-me uma oferta, se o seu coração se sentir movido a isso; 3 estas são as ofertas que podem receber:

ouro, prata ou bronze;

4 tecido azul, púrpura e vermelho, feito de linho fino retorcido

ou de pelo de cabra;

5 peles de carneiro tingidas de vermelho e curtidas, peles de couro fino*25.5 Acerca deste tipo de pele, o termo hebraico tem significado incerto. Pode significar couro à base de pele de um animal mamífero marinho, provavelmente o dugongo, ou significar um tipo fino e duradouro de couro, à base de animais que foram domesticados.;

madeira de acácia;

6 azeite para os candeeiros;

especiarias para o óleo da unção e para o incenso aromático;

7 pedras de ónix e pedras para serem usadas no éfode e no peitoral.

8 Pois pretendo que o povo de Israel me faça um santuário no qual eu possa viver no meio deles. 9 Esta minha casa será uma tenda, um tabernáculo. Mostrar-te-ei o plano para a sua construção e os detalhes para o fabrico de cada objeto.

10 Com madeira de acácia farás uma arca de 125 centímetros de comprimento, 75 centímetros de largura e 75 centímetros de altura. 11 Revesti-la-ás de ouro puro por dentro e por fora. Pôr-lhe-ás uma moldura em toda a volta, também em ouro. 12 Molda quatro argolas de ouro, que fixarás aos seus quatro cantos, duas argolas de cada lado. 13 Faz varas de madeira de acácia revestidas de ouro 14 e mete-as nas argolas nos lados da arca, para poder ser transportada. 15 Estas varas permanecerão sempre nas argolas. Nunca deverão ser tiradas. 16 Colocarás no seu interior as placas de pedra que te darei como testemunho.

17 Faz uma tampa de ouro puro, um propiciatório, de 125 centímetros de comprimento, por 75 de largura.

18 Moldarás dois querubins de ouro, trabalhados a martelo, e os porás um em cada extremidade da tampa da arca. 19 Eles serão moldados de forma a fazer com essa tampa, que é o propiciatório, uma só peça. 20 Os querubins estarão virados um para o outro, olhando para baixo, para o propiciatório. Terão as asas estendidas cobrindo o propiciatório.

21 Coloca a tampa sobre a arca e, no interior desta, o testemunho que te darei. 22 Ali me encontrarei contigo e te falarei, de cima do propiciatório, por entre os querubins que estão sobre a arca do testemunho. Nesse lugar te darei os meus mandamentos para o povo de Israel.

23 Também farás uma mesa de madeira de acácia com 1 metro de comprimento, 50 centímetros de largura e 75 de altura. 24 Reveste-a com ouro puro e faz-lhe uma moldura de ouro em volta. 25 Põe-lhe também uma coroa de ouro de 7 centímetros de altura à volta da mesa. 26 Faz quatro argolas de ouro e coloca-as nos cantos exteriores das quatro pernas da mesa, 27 junto ao tampo. Estas argolas são para as varas com que será transportada. 28 Faz as varas de madeira de acácia revestidas de ouro, pois através delas, a mesa será transportada. 29 Faz pratos, colheres, jarros e taças, tudo em ouro puro, 30 e sobre a mesa coloca o pão da Presença, o qual deve estar sempre diante de mim.

31 Farás um candelabro de ouro puro, trabalhado a martelo. Todo ele, mais os seus ornamentos, serão de uma só peça: a base, as hastes, os cálices e os botões em forma de flores de amendoeira. 32 O candelabro terá seis hastes, três para cada lado. 33 Em cada uma das hastes haverá três cálices em forma de flor de amendoeira, com botão e flor. 34 A haste central do candelabro será decorada com quatro cálices em forma de flor de amendoeira, com os seus botões e flores; uma entre cada saída das hastes laterais. 35 Igualmente o pé, no meio do candelabro, será decorado com flores de amendoeira, uma flor sob a saída de cada um dos três pares de hastes laterais e uma outra na extremidade. 36 Toda esta decoração e as hastes deverão ser uma só peça de ouro puro, trabalhado a martelo.

37 Depois farás sete lâmpadas para este candelabro. Fá-las-ás de forma a que iluminem para a frente dele. 38 As peças com que se espevitarão as luzes, como as que servirão para as apagar, serão também feitas de ouro puro. 39 Precisarás de 34 quilos de ouro puro para o candelabro e seus acessórios.

40 Certifica-te de que farás tudo de acordo com o modelo que te mostrei aqui na montanha.

10 And they shall make an ark of shittim wood: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 11 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, within and without shalt thou overlay it, and shalt make upon it a crown of gold round about. 12 And thou shalt cast four rings of gold for it, and put them in the four corners thereof; and two rings shall be in the one side of it, and two rings in the other side of it. 13 And thou shalt make staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold. 14 And thou shalt put the staves into the rings by the sides of the ark, that the ark may be borne with them. 15 The staves shall be in the rings of the ark: they shall not be taken from it. 16 And thou shalt put into the ark the testimony which I shall give thee. 17 And thou shalt make a mercy seat of pure gold: two cubits and a half shall be the length thereof, and a cubit and a half the breadth thereof. 18 And thou shalt make two cherubims of gold, of beaten work shalt thou make them, in the two ends of the mercy seat. 19 And make one cherub on the one end, and the other cherub on the other end: even of the mercy seat shall ye make the cherubims on the two ends thereof.*25.19 of…: or, of the matter of the mercy seat 20 And the cherubims shall stretch forth their wings on high, covering the mercy seat with their wings, and their faces shall look one to another; toward the mercy seat shall the faces of the cherubims be. 21 And thou shalt put the mercy seat above upon the ark; and in the ark thou shalt put the testimony that I shall give thee. 22 And there I will meet with thee, and I will commune with thee from above the mercy seat, from between the two cherubims which are upon the ark of the testimony, of all things which I will give thee in commandment unto the children of Israel.

23 Thou shalt also make a table of shittim wood: two cubits shall be the length thereof, and a cubit the breadth thereof, and a cubit and a half the height thereof. 24 And thou shalt overlay it with pure gold, and make thereto a crown of gold round about. 25 And thou shalt make unto it a border of an hand breadth round about, and thou shalt make a golden crown to the border thereof round about. 26 And thou shalt make for it four rings of gold, and put the rings in the four corners that are on the four feet thereof. 27 Over against the border shall the rings be for places of the staves to bear the table. 28 And thou shalt make the staves of shittim wood, and overlay them with gold, that the table may be borne with them. 29 And thou shalt make the dishes thereof, and spoons thereof, and covers thereof, and bowls thereof, to cover withal: of pure gold shalt thou make them.*25.29 to…: or, to pour out withal 30 And thou shalt set upon the table shewbread before me alway.

31 And thou shalt make a candlestick of pure gold: of beaten work shall the candlestick be made: his shaft, and his branches, his bowls, his knops, and his flowers, shall be of the same. 32 And six branches shall come out of the sides of it; three branches of the candlestick out of the one side, and three branches of the candlestick out of the other side: 33 Three bowls made like unto almonds, with a knop and a flower in one branch; and three bowls made like almonds in the other branch, with a knop and a flower: so in the six branches that come out of the candlestick. 34 And in the candlestick shall be four bowls made like unto almonds, with their knops and their flowers. 35 And there shall be a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, and a knop under two branches of the same, according to the six branches that proceed out of the candlestick. 36 Their knops and their branches shall be of the same: all it shall be one beaten work of pure gold. 37 And thou shalt make the seven lamps thereof: and they shall light the lamps thereof, that they may give light over against it.*25.37 shall light: or, shall cause to ascend*25.37 it: Heb. the face of it 38 And the tongs thereof, and the snuffdishes thereof, shall be of pure gold. 39 Of a talent of pure gold shall he make it, with all these vessels. 40 And look that thou make them after their pattern, which was shewed thee in the mount.*25.40 which…: Heb. which thou wast caused to see
