1 Any person, moreover, whensoever he shall sin in that, when he heareth a voice of swearing, he himself, being a witness either seeing or knowing,if he do not tell and so hath to bear his iniquity:2 Or, any person, who toucheth anything unclean, whether the carcase of an unclean wild-beast or the carcase of an unclean tame-beast, or the carcase of an unclean creeping thing,and it is hidden from him, he himself being unclean, and he becometh aware of his guilt:3 Or whensoever one shall touch the uncleanness of man, as regardeth any uncleanness of his, wherewith one may become unclean,and it be hidden from him, and then he himself, getting to know it becometh aware of his guilt:4 Or, any person, whensoever he shall swear, speaking unadvisedly with the lips, to harm or to help, as regardeth anything wherein the son of earth may speak unadvisedly by way of oath, and it be hidden from him,and then, he himself, getting to know it, becometh aware of his guilt as regardeth any one of these things.5 Then shall it be, when he becometh aware of his guilt, as regardeth any one of these things, that he shall confess that wherein he hath sinned;6 and shall bring in as his guilt-bearer unto Yahweh for his sin which he hath committed, a female from the flocka lamb or a kid of the goatsas a sin-bearer,so shall the priest put propitiatory-covering over him, because of his sin.7 And, if his hand can-not reach sufficient for a lamb, then shall he bring in to bear his guiltfor that he hath sinnedtwo turtle-doves, or two young pigeons unto Yahweh,one for a sin-bearer, and one for an ascending-sacrifice.8 And he shall take them in unto the priest, who shall bring near that which is for a sin-bearer first,and shall nip through the neck close to the head but shall not divide it asunder.9 And he shall sprinkle of the blood of the sin-bearer upon the wall of the altar, and the remainder of the blood, shall he drain out at the base of the altar,a, sin-bearer, it is.10 And of the second, shall he make an ascending-sacrifice according to the regulation,so shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him, because of his sin which he hath committed and it shall be forgiven him.11 But if his hand cannot lay hold of two turtledove, or two young pigeons, then shall he bring in as his oblationbecause he hath sinnedthe tenth of an ephah of fine meal for bearing sin,he shall not put thereon oil, neither shall he lay thereon frankincense, for a sin-bearer, it is.12 And he shall bring it in unto the priest, and the priest shall take therefrom a handful, as the memorial thereof, and shall make a perfume at the altar, upon the altar-flames of Yahweh,a sin-bearer, it is.13 So shall the priest put a propitiatory-covering over him, on account of his sin which he hath committed, departing from some one of these things, and it shall be forgiven him,then shall it be the priests, like the meal-offering.14 And Yahweh spake unto Moses, saying15 Whensoever, any person, shall commit a trespass, and shall take away by mistake, from the holy things of Yahweh, then shall he bring in as his guilt-bearer unto Yahweh, a ram without defect out of the flock, with thine estimate in silver by shekels, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a guilt-bearer:16 that, moreover, which he took away from the sanctuary, shall he make good and the fifth part thereof, shall he add thereunto, and shall give it to the priest,and, the priest, shall put a propitiatory-covering over him with the guilt-bearing ram and it shall be forgiven him.17 And if any person when he shall sin, and do something, departing from any of the commandments of Yahweh, as to things which should not be done,though he knew it not, shall so become guilty, and shall bear his iniquity,18 then shall he bring in a ram without defect out of the flock by thine estimate as a guilt-bearer unto the priest,and the priest shall put a propitiatory-covering over him, on account of his mistake which he made though he knew it not and it shall be forgiven him:19 a guilt-bearer, it is,he was, verily guilty against Yahweh.

1 E, quando alguma pessoa pecar, ouvindo uma voz de blasfêmia, de que for testemunha, seja que o viu ou que o soube, se o não denunciar, então, levará a sua iniquidade; 2 ou quando alguma pessoa tocar em alguma coisa imunda, seja corpo morto de besta-fera imunda, seja corpo morto de animal imundo, seja corpo morto de réptil imundo, ainda que lhe fosse oculto, contudo, será ele imundo e culpado; 3 ou quando tocar a imundícia dum homem, seja qual for a sua imundícia, com que se faça imundo, e lhe for oculto, e o souber depois, será culpado; 4 ou quando alguma pessoa jurar, pronunciando temerariamente com os seus lábios, para fazer mal ou para fazer bem, em tudo o que o homem pronuncia temerariamente com juramento, e lhe for oculto, e o souber depois, culpado será numa destas coisas. 5 Será, pois, que, culpado sendo numa destas coisas, confessará aquilo em que pecou. 6 E a sua expiação trará ao Senhor, pelo seu pecado que pecou: uma fêmea de gado miúdo, uma cordeira ou uma cabrinha pelo pecado; assim, o sacerdote por ela fará expiação do seu pecado.

7 Mas, se a sua mão não alcançar o que bastar para gado miúdo, então, trará, em expiação da culpa que cometeu, ao Senhor, duas rolas ou dois pombinhos; um para expiação do pecado, e o outro para holocausto. 8 E os trará ao sacerdote, o qual primeiro oferecerá aquele que é para expiação do pecado; e, com a sua unha, lhe fenderá a cabeça junto ao pescoço, mas não o partirá. 9 E do sangue da expiação do pecado espargirá sobre a parede do altar, porém o que sobejar daquele sangue espremer-se-á à base do altar; expiação do pecado é. 10 E do outro fará holocausto conforme o costume; assim, o sacerdote por ela fará expiação do seu pecado que pecou, e lhe será perdoado.

11 Porém, se a sua mão não alcançar duas rolas ou dois pombinhos, então, aquele que pecou trará pela sua oferta a décima parte de um efa de flor de farinha, para expiação do pecado; não deitará sobre ela azeite, nem lhe porá em cima o incenso, porquanto é expiação do pecado. 12 E a trará ao sacerdote, e o sacerdote dela tomará o seu punho cheio por seu memorial e a queimará sobre o altar, em cima das ofertas queimadas do Senhor; expiação de pecado é. 13 Assim, o sacerdote por ela fará expiação do seu pecado, que pecou em alguma destas coisas, e lhe será perdoado; e o resto será do sacerdote, como a oferta de manjares.

14 E falou o Senhor a Moisés, dizendo: 15 Quando alguma pessoa cometer uma transgressão e pecar por ignorância nas coisas sagradas do Senhor, então, trará ao Senhor, por expiação, um carneiro sem mancha do rebanho, conforme a tua estimação em siclos de prata, segundo o siclo do santuário, para expiação da culpa. 16 Assim, restituirá o que ele tirou das coisas sagradas, e ainda de mais acrescentará o seu quinto, e o dará ao sacerdote; assim, o sacerdote, com o carneiro da expiação, fará expiação por ela, e ser-lhe-á perdoado o pecado.

17 E, se alguma pessoa pecar e fizer contra algum de todos os mandamentos do Senhor o que se não deve fazer, ainda que o não soubesse, contudo, será ela culpada e levará a sua iniquidade. 18 E trará ao sacerdote um carneiro sem mancha do rebanho, conforme a tua estimação, para expiação da culpa, e o sacerdote por ela fará expiação do seu erro em que errou sem saber; e lhe será perdoado. 19 Expiação de culpa é; certamente se fez culpada ao Senhor.
