1 O fundamento dela está nos montes santos.2 O Senhor ama as portas de Sião mais do que todas as habitações de Jacó.3 Coisas gloriosas se dizem de ti, ó cidade de Deus.4 Farei menção de Raabe e de Babilônia dentre os que me conhecem; eis que da Filístia, e de Tiro, e da Etiópia, se dirá: Este nasceu ali.5 Sim, de Sião se dirá: Este e aquele nasceram ali; e o próprio Altíssimo a estabelecerá.6 O Senhor, ao registrar os povos, dirá: Este nasceu ali.7 Tanto os cantores como os que tocam instrumentos dirão: Todas as minhas fontes estão em ti.
