1 Louvai ao Senhor. Cantai ao Senhor um cântico novo, e o seu louvor na congregação dos santos.2 Alegre-se Israel naquele que o fez, regozijem-se os filhos de Sião no seu Rei.3 Louvem o seu nome com danças; cantem-lhe o seu louvor com tamborim e harpa.4 Porque o Senhor se agrada do seu povo; ornará os mansos com a salvação.5 Exultem os santos na glória; alegrem-se nas suas camas.6 Estejam na sua garganta os altos louvores de Deus, e espada de dois fios nas suas mãos,7 Para tomarem vingança dos gentios, e darem repreensões aos povos;8 Para prenderem os seus reis com cadeias, e os seus nobres com grilhões de ferro;9 Para fazerem neles o juízo escrito; esta será a honra de todos os seus santos. Louvai ao Senhor.

1 Praise ye LORD. Sing to LORD a new song, and his praise in the assembly of the sanctified.2 Let Israel rejoice in him who made him. Let the sons of Zion be joyful in their King.3 Let them praise his name in the dance. Let them sing praises to him with timbrel and harp.4 For LORD takes pleasure in his people. He will beautify the meek with salvation.5 Let the sanctified exult in glory. Let them sing for joy upon their beds,6 The high praises of God [are] in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand7 to execute vengeance upon the nations, and punishments upon the peoples,8 to bind their kings with chains, and their ranking men with fetters of iron,9 to execute upon them the judgment written. All his sanctified have this honor. Praise ye LORD.
