1 Dare any one of you, having a matter against another, prosecute his suit before the unjust, and not before the saints? 2 Do ye not then know that the saints shall judge the world? and if the world is judged by you, are ye unworthy of the smallest judgments? 3 Do ye not know that we shall judge angels? and not then matters of this life? 4 If then ye have judgments as to things of this life, set those to judge who are little esteemed in the assembly. 5 I speak to you to put you to shame. Thus there is not a wise person among you, not even one, who shall be able to decide between his brethren! 6 But brother prosecutes his suit with brother, and that before unbelievers. 7 Already indeed then it is altogether a fault in you that ye have suits between yourselves. Why do ye not rather suffer wrong? why are ye not rather defrauded? 8 But ye do wrong, and defraud, and this your brethren.

9 Do ye not know that unrighteous persons shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not err: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor those who make women of themselves, nor who abuse themselves with men, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor abusive persons, nor the rapacious, shall inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And these things were some of you; but ye have been washed, but ye have been sanctified, but ye have been justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.

12 All things are lawful to me, but all things do not profit; all things are lawful to me, but I will not be brought under the power of any. 13 Meats for the belly, and the belly for meats; but God will bring to nothing both it and them: but the body is not for fornication, but for the Lord, and the Lord for the body. 14 And God has both raised up the Lord, and will raise us up from among the dead by his power. 15 Do ye not know that your bodies are members of Christ? Shall I then, taking the members of the Christ, make them members of a harlot? Far be the thought. 16 Do ye not know that he that is joined to the harlot is one body? for the two, he says, shall be one flesh. 17 But he that is joined to the Lord is one Spirit. 18 Flee fornication. Every sin which a man may practise is without the body, but he that commits fornication sins against his own body. 19 Do ye not know that your body is the temple of the Holy Spirit which is in you, which ye have of God; and ye are not your own? 20 for ye have been bought with a price: glorify now then God in your body.

Și dacă lumea va fi judecată de voi, sunteți voi nevrednici să judecați lucruri de foarte mică însemnătate? 3 Nu știți că noi vom judeca*2 Pet. 2:4.Iuda 6. pe îngeri? Cu cât mai mult lucrurile vieții acesteia? 4 Deci*Cap. 5:12., când aveți neînțelegeri pentru lucrurile vieții acesteia, voi puneți judecători pe aceia pe care Biserica nu-i bagă în seamă? 5 Spre rușinea voastră zic lucrul acesta. Astfel, nu este între voi nici măcar un singur om înțelept, care să fie în stare să judece între frate și frate? 6 Dar un frate se duce la judecată cu alt frate, și încă înaintea necredincioșilor! 7 Chiar faptul că aveți judecăți între voi este un cusur pe care-l aveți. De ce nu răbdați mai bine paguba? 8 Dar voi singuri sunteți aceia care nedreptățiți și păgubiți, și*1 Tes. 4:6. încă pe frați! 9 Nu știți că cei nedrepți nu vor moșteni Împărăția lui Dumnezeu? Nu vă înșelați în privința aceasta: nici*Cap. 15:50.Gal. 5:21.Efes. 5:5.1 Tim. 1:9.Evr. 12:14;13:4.Apoc. 22:15. curvarii, nici închinătorii la idoli, nici preacurvarii, nici malahii, nici sodomiții, 10 nici hoții, nici cei lacomi, nici bețivii, nici defăimătorii, nici hrăpăreții nu vor moșteni Împărăția lui Dumnezeu. 11 Și așa erați unii*Cap. 12:2.Efes. 2:2;4:22;5:8.Col. 3:7.Tit 3:3. din voi! Dar*Cap. 1:30.Evr. 10:22. ați fost spălați, ați fost sfințiți, ați fost socotiți neprihăniți în Numele Domnului Isus Hristos și prin Duhul Dumnezeului nostru.

12 Toate*Cap. 10:23. lucrurile îmi sunt îngăduite, dar nu toate sunt de folos; toate lucrurile îmi sunt îngăduite, dar nimic nu trebuie să pună stăpânire pe mine. 13 Mâncărurile*Mat. 15:17.Rom. 14:17.Col. 2:22,23. sunt pentru pântece și pântecele este pentru mâncăruri. Și Dumnezeu va nimici și pe unul, și pe celelalte. Dar trupul nu este pentru curvie: el este pentru*Vers. 15,19,20.1 Tes. 4:3,7. Domnul și*Efes. 5:23. Domnul este pentru trup. 14 Și Dumnezeu*Rom. 6:5,8;8:11.2 Cor. 4:14., care a înviat pe Domnul, ne va învia și pe noi cu*Efes. 1:19,20. puterea Sa. 15 Nu știți că trupurile*Rom. 12:5. Cap. 12:27.Efes. 4:12,15,16;5:30. voastre sunt mădulare ale lui Hristos? Voi lua eu mădularele lui Hristos și voi face din ele mădulare ale unei curve? Nicidecum! 16 Nu știți că cine se lipește de o curvă este un singur trup cu ea? Căci este zis: „Cei doi se vor*Gen. 2:24.Mat. 19:5.Efes. 5:31. face un singur trup." 17 Dar*Ioan 17:21-23.Efes. 4:4;5:30. cine se lipește de Domnul este un singur duh cu El. 18 Fugiți*Rom. 6:12,13.Evr. 13:4. de curvie! Orice alt păcat pe care-l face omul este un păcat săvârșit afară din trup, dar cine curvește păcătuiește*Rom. 1:24.1 Tes. 4:4. împotriva trupului său. 19 Nu*Cap. 3:16.2 Cor. 6:16. știți că trupul vostru este Templul Duhului Sfânt care locuiește în voi și pe care L-ați primit de la Dumnezeu? Și*Rom. 14:7,8. că voi nu sunteți ai voștri? 20 Căci*Fapte 20:28. Cap. 7:23.Gal. 3:13.Evr. 9:12.1 Pet. 1:18,19.2 Pet. 2:1.Apoc. 5:9. ați fost cumpărați cu un preț. Proslăviți dar pe Dumnezeu în trupul și în duhul vostru, care sunt ale lui Dumnezeu.
