1 And Jehovah spoke to Moses, saying, 2 Speak unto the children of Israel, saying, If a soul shall sin through inadvertence against any of the commandments of Jehovah in things that ought not to be done, and do any of them; 3 if the priest that is anointed sin according to the trespass of the people; then for his sin which he hath sinned shall he present a young bullock without blemish to Jehovah for a sin-offering. 4 And he shall bring the bullock to the entrance of the tent of meeting before Jehovah; and shall lay his hand on the bullock’s head, and slaughter the bullock before Jehovah. 5 And the priest that is anointed shall take of the bullock’s blood, and bring it into the tent of meeting; 6 and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle of the blood seven times before Jehovah before the veil of the sanctuary; 7 and the priest shall put of the blood on the horns of the altar of fragrant incense, which is in the tent of meeting, before Jehovah; and he shall pour all the blood of the bullock at the bottom of the altar of burnt-offering, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting. 8 And all the fat of the bullock of the sin-offering shall he take off from it; the fat that covereth the inwards, and all the fat that is on the inwards, 9 and the two kidneys, and the fat that is on them, which is by the flanks, and the net above the liver which he shall take away as far as the kidneys, 10 as it is taken off from the ox of the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall burn them on the altar of burnt-offering. 11 And the skin of the bullock, and all its flesh, with its head, and with its legs, and its inwards, and its dung, 12 even the whole bullock shall he carry forth outside the camp unto a clean place, where the ashes are poured out, and burn it on wood with fire; where the ashes are poured out shall it be burnt.

13 And if the whole assembly of Israel sin inadvertently, and the thing be hid from the eyes of the congregation, and they do somewhat against any of all the commandments of Jehovah in things which should not be done, and are guilty; 14 and the sin wherewith they have sinned against it have become known; then the congregation shall present a young bullock for the sin-offering, and shall bring it before the tent of meeting; 15 and the elders of the assembly shall lay their hands on the head of the bullock before Jehovah; and one shall slaughter the bullock before Jehovah. 16 And the priest that is anointed shall bring of the bullock’s blood into the tent of meeting; 17 and the priest shall dip his finger in the blood, and sprinkle it seven times before Jehovah, before the veil; 18 and he shall put of the blood on the horns of the altar that is before Jehovah which is in the tent of meeting; and he shall pour out all the blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt-offering, which is at the entrance of the tent of meeting. 19 And all its fat shall he take off from it and burn on the altar. 20 And he shall do with the bullock as he did with the bullock of sin-offering: so shall he do with it. And the priest shall make atonement for them; and it shall be forgiven them. 21 And he shall carry forth the bullock outside the camp, and burn it as he burned the first bullock: it is a sin-offering of the congregation.

22 When a prince sinneth and through inadvertence doeth somewhat against any of all the commandments of Jehovah his God*GodHebrew: Elohimin things which should not be done, and is guilty; 23 if his sin, wherein he hath sinned, come to his knowledge, he shall bring his offering, a buck of the goats, a male without blemish. 24 And he shall lay his hand on the head of the goat, and slaughter it at the place where they slaughter the burnt-offering before Jehovah: it is a sin-offering. 25 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and shall pour out its blood at the bottom of the altar of burnt-offering. 26 And he shall burn all its fat on the altar, as the fat of the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall make atonement for him to cleanse him from his sin, and it shall be forgiven him.

27 And if any one of the people of the land sin through inadvertence, that he do somewhat against any of the commandments of Jehovah in things which should not be done, and be guilty; 28 if his sin, which he hath sinned, come to his knowledge, then he shall bring his offering, a goat, a female without blemish, for his sin which he hath sinned. 29 And he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin-offering, and slaughter the sin-offering at the place of the burnt-offering. 30 And the priest shall take of the blood thereof with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar. 31 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat is taken away from off the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall burn it on the altar, for a sweet odour to Jehovah; and the priest shall make atonement for him, and it shall be forgiven him. 32 And if he bring a sheep for his offering for sin, a female without blemish shall he bring it. 33 And he shall lay his hand on the head of the sin-offering, and slaughter it for a sin-offering at the place where they slaughter the burnt-offering. 34 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering with his finger, and put it on the horns of the altar of burnt-offering, and shall pour out all the blood thereof at the bottom of the altar. 35 And he shall take away all the fat thereof, as the fat of the lamb is taken away from the sacrifice of peace-offering; and the priest shall burn them on the altar, with Jehovah’s offerings by fire; and the priest shall make atonement for him concerning his sin which he hath sinned, and it shall be forgiven him.

1 Domnul a vorbit lui Moise și a zis: 2 „Vorbește copiilor lui Israel și spune:

‘Când*Cap. 5:15,17.Num. 15:22.1 Sam. 14:27.Ps. 19:12. va păcătui cineva fără voie împotriva vreuneia din poruncile Domnului, făcând lucruri care nu trebuie făcute, și anume: 3 Dacă a păcătuit preotul*Cap. 8:12. care a primit ungerea și, prin aceasta, a adus vina asupra poporului, să aducă Domnului un vițel*Cap. 9:2. fără cusur, ca jertfă de ispășire pentru păcatul pe care l-a făcut. 4 Să aducă vițelul*Cap. 1:3,4. la ușa cortului întâlnirii, înaintea Domnului, să-și pună mâna pe capul vițelului și să-l înjunghie înaintea Domnului. 5 Preotul, care a primit ungerea, să*Cap. 16:14.Num. 19:4. ia din sângele vițelului și să-l aducă în cortul întâlnirii, 6 să-și înmoaie degetul în sânge și să stropească de șapte ori înaintea Domnului, în fața perdelei dinăuntru a Sfântului Locaș. 7 Apoi, preotul să ungă*Cap. 8:15;9:9;16:18. cu sânge coarnele altarului pentru tămâia mirositoare, care este înaintea Domnului în cortul întâlnirii, iar tot*Cap. 5:9. celălalt sânge al vițelului să-l verse la picioarele altarului pentru arderile-de-tot, care este la ușa cortului întâlnirii. 8 Să ia toată grăsimea vițelului adus ca jertfă de ispășire, și anume grăsimea care acoperă măruntaiele și toată grăsimea care ține de ele, 9 cei doi rărunchi și grăsimea de pe ei, de pe coapse, și prapurul ficatului, pe care-l va dezlipi de lângă rărunchi. Preotul să ia aceste părți, 10 cum*Cap. 3:3,4,5. se iau de la vițelul adus ca jertfă de mulțumire, și să le ardă pe altarul pentru arderile-de-tot. 11 Dar pielea*Exod 29:14.Num. 19:5. vițelului, toată carnea lui, cu capul, picioarele, măruntaiele și balega lui, 12 adică tot vițelul care a mai rămas, să le scoată afară din tabără, într-un loc curat, unde*Cap. 6:11. se aruncă cenușa, și să le ardă cu lemne pe foc; să fie*Evr. 13:11. arse pe grămada de cenușă.

13 Dacă*Num. 15:24.Ios. 7:11. toată adunarea lui Israel a păcătuit fără voie și fără să știe, făcând împotriva uneia din poruncile Domnului lucruri care nu trebuie făcute și făcându-se astfel vinovată, 14 și dacă păcatul săvârșit s-a*Cap. 5:2-4,17. descoperit, adunarea să aducă un vițel ca jertfă de ispășire, și anume să-l aducă înaintea cortului întâlnirii. 15 Bătrânii adunării să-și*Cap. 1:4. pună mâinile pe capul vițelului înaintea Domnului și să înjunghie vițelul înaintea Domnului. 16 Preotul*Vers. 5.Evr. 9:12-14. care a primit ungerea să aducă din sângele vițelului în cortul întâlnirii, 17 să-și înmoaie degetul în sânge și să stropească cu el de șapte ori înaintea Domnului, în fața perdelei dinăuntru. 18 Să ungă cu sângele acesta coarnele altarului care este înaintea Domnului, în cortul întâlnirii, și să verse tot sângele care a mai rămas la picioarele altarului pentru arderile-de-tot, care este la ușa cortului întâlnirii. 19 Toată grăsimea vițelului s-o ia și s-o ardă pe altar. 20 Cu vițelul*Vers. 3. acesta să facă întocmai cum a făcut cu vițelul adus ca jertfă de ispășire; să facă la fel. Astfel să facă preotul*Num. 15:25.Dan. 9:24.Rom. 5:11.Evr. 2:17.Evr. 10:10-12.1 Ioan 1:7;2:2. ispășire pentru ei, și li se va ierta. 21 Vițelul rămas să-l scoată apoi afară din tabără și să-l ardă ca și pe vițelul dintâi. Aceasta este o jertfă de ispășire pentru adunare.

22 Dacă o căpetenie a păcătuit făcând*Vers. 2,13. fără voie împotriva uneia din poruncile Domnului Dumnezeului său lucruri care nu trebuie făcute și s-a făcut astfel vinovată 23 și ajunge să descopere*Vers. 14. păcatul pe care l-a făcut, să aducă jertfă un țap fără cusur! 24 Să-și*Vers. 4. pună mâna pe capul țapului și să-l înjunghie în locul unde se înjunghie arderile-de-tot înaintea Domnului. Aceasta este o jertfă de ispășire. 25 Preotul*Vers. 30. să ia cu degetul din sângele jertfei de ispășire, să ungă cu el coarnele altarului pentru arderile-de-tot, iar celălalt sânge să-l verse la picioarele altarului pentru arderile-de-tot. 26 Toată grăsimea*Cap. 3:5. s-o ardă pe altar, cum a ars grăsimea de la jertfa de mulțumire. Astfel va face preotul*Vers. 20.Num. 15:28. pentru căpetenia aceea ispășirea păcatului lui, și i se va ierta. 27 Dacă cineva*Vers. 2.Num. 15:27. din poporul de rând a păcătuit fără voie, făcând împotriva uneia din poruncile Domnului lucruri care nu trebuie făcute și s-a făcut astfel vinovat 28 și ajunge să descopere păcatul*Vers. 23. pe care l-a făcut, să aducă jertfă o iadă fără cusur pentru păcatul pe care l-a făcut. 29 Să-și*Vers. 14,24. pună mâna pe capul jertfei de ispășire și s-o înjunghie în locul unde se înjunghie arderile-de-tot. 30 Preotul să ia cu degetul din sângele jertfei, să ungă coarnele altarului pentru arderile-de-tot, iar tot celălalt sânge să-l verse la picioarele altarului. 31 Preotul*Cap. 3:14. să ia toată grăsimea, cum*Cap. 3:3. se ia grăsimea jertfei de mulțumire, și s-o ardă pe altar, și ea va fi de un miros plăcut*Exod 29:18. Cap. 1:9. Domnului. Astfel va face preotul ispășirea*Vers. 26. pentru omul acesta, și i se va ierta. 32 Dacă va aduce ca jertfă de ispășire un miel, să aducă o parte femeiască*Vers. 28. fără cusur. 33 Să-și pună mâna pe capul jertfei și s-o înjunghie ca jertfă de ispășire în locul unde se înjunghie arderile-de-tot. 34 Preotul să ia cu degetul din sângele jertfei, să ungă cu el coarnele altarului pentru arderile-de-tot, iar tot celălalt sânge să-l verse la picioarele altarului. 35 Preotul să ia toată grăsimea, cum se ia grăsimea mielului adus ca jertfă de mulțumire, și s-o ardă pe altar*Cap. 3:5., peste jertfele mistuite de foc înaintea Domnului. Astfel*Vers. 26,31. va face preotul pentru omul acesta ispășirea păcatului pe care l-a săvârșit, și i se va ierta.
