1 But it shall come to pass in the end of days that the mountain of Jehovah’s house shall be established on the top of the mountains, and shall be lifted up above the hills; and the peoples shall flow unto it. 2 And many nations shall go and say, Come, and let us go up to the mountain of Jehovah, and to the house of the God*GodHebrew: Elohim of Jacob; and he will teach us of his ways, and we will walk in his paths. For out of Zion shall go forth the law, and Jehovah’s word from Jerusalem. 3 And he shall judge among many peoples, and reprove strong nations, even afar off; and they shall forge their swords into ploughshares, and their spears into pruning-knives: nation shall not lift up sword against nation, neither shall they learn war any more. 4 And they shall sit every one under his vine, and under his fig-tree; and there shall be none to make them afraid: for the mouth of Jehovah of hosts hath spoken it. 5 For all the peoples will walk every one in the name of his god; but we will walk in the name of Jehovah, our God*GodHebrew: Elohim for ever and ever. 6 In that day, saith Jehovah, will I assemble her that halteth, and I will gather her that is driven out, and her that I have afflicted; 7 and I will make her that halted a remnant, and her that was cast far off a strong nation; and Jehovah shall reign over them in mount Zion, from henceforth even for ever.

8 And thou, O tower of the flock, hill of the daughter of Zion, unto thee shall it come, yea, the first dominion shall come, — the kingdom to the daughter of Jerusalem. 9 Now why dost thou cry out aloud? Is there no king in thee? is thy counsellor perished, that pangs have seized thee as a woman in travail? 10 Be in pain, and labour to bring forth, O daughter of Zion, like a woman in travail; for now shalt thou go forth out of the city, and thou shalt dwell in the field, and thou shalt go even to Babylon: there shalt thou be delivered; there Jehovah will redeem thee from the hand of thine enemies. 11 And now many nations are assembled against thee, that say, Let her be profaned, and let our eye look upon Zion. 12 But they know not the thoughts of Jehovah, neither understand they his counsel; for he hath gathered them together as the sheaves into the threshing-floor. 13 Arise and thresh, daughter of Zion, for I will make thy horn iron, and I will make thy hoofs brass; and thou shalt beat in pieces many peoples; and I will devote their gain to Jehovah, and their substance to the Lord of the whole earth.

1 În vremurile*Is. 2:2.Ezec. 17:22,23. de pe urmă, muntele Casei Domnului va fi întemeiat tare, ca cel mai înalt munte, se va înălța deasupra dealurilor și popoarele vor veni grămadă la el. 2 Neamurile se vor duce cu grămada la el și vor zice: „Veniți, haidem să ne suim la muntele Domnului, la Casa Dumnezeului lui Iacov, ca să ne învețe căile Lui și să umblăm pe cărările Lui!" Căci din Sion va ieși Legea și din Ierusalim, Cuvântul Domnului. 3 El va judeca între multe popoare, va hotărî între neamuri puternice, depărtate. Din săbiile lor își vor făuri fiare de plug*Is. 2:4.Ioel 3:10. și din sulițele lor, cosoare; niciun neam nu va mai trage sabia împotriva altuia și nu vor mai învăța*Ps. 72:7. să facă război, 4 ci fiecare*1 Împ. 4:25.Zah. 3:10. va locui sub vița lui și sub smochinul lui și nimeni nu-l va mai tulbura. Căci gura Domnului oștirilor a vorbit. 5 Pe când toate popoarele umblă fiecare în numele dumnezeului său*Ier. 2:11., noi vom umbla*Zah. 10:12. în Numele Domnului Dumnezeului nostru totdeauna și în veci de veci! 6 „În ziua aceea", zice Domnul, „voi aduna pe cei șchiopi*Ezec. 34:16.Ţef. 3:19., voi strânge grămadă pe*Ps. 147:2.Ezec. 34:13;37:21. cei izgoniți și pe aceia pe care-i chinuisem. 7 Din cei șchiopi voi face o rămășiță*Cap. 2:12;5:3,7,8;7:18., din cei ce erau risipiți, un neam puternic, și Domnul va împărăți*Is. 9:6;24:23.Dan. 7:14,27.Luca 1:33.Apoc. 11:15. peste ei, pe muntele Sionului, de acum și până-n veac! 8 Iar la tine, turn al turmei, deal al fiicei Sionului, la tine va veni și la tine va ajunge vechea stăpânire, împărăția fiicei Ierusalimului!" 9 Pentru ce strigi tu însă acum așa de tare? N-ai împărat*Ier. 8:19.? Nu mai ai sfetnic de te apucă*Is. 13:8;21:3.Ier. 30:6;50:43. durerea ca pe o femeie la naștere? 10 Suferă, fiica Sionului, și gemi ca o femeie la naștere! Căci acum vei ieși din cetate și vei locui în câmp și te vei duce până la Babilon! Acolo vei fi izbăvită, acolo te va răscumpăra Domnul din mâna vrăjmașilor tăi. 11 Căci acum*Plâng. 2:16. multe neamuri s-au strâns împotriva ta și zic: „Să fie pângărită, ca să ne vadă*Obad. 12. Cap. 7:10. ochii împlinindu-ni-se dorința față de Sion!" 12 Dar ei nu cunosc gândurile*Is. 55:8.Rom. 11:33. Domnului, nu-I înțeleg planurile, nu știu că i-a strâns ca*Is. 21:10. pe niște snopi în arie. 13 „Scoală-te*Is. 41:15,16.Ier. 51:33., fiica Sionului și treieră! Căci îți fac un corn de fier și o copită de aramă, ca să sfărâmi*Dan. 2:44. multe popoare și*Is. 18:7;23:18;60:6,9. să închini Domnului*Zah. 4:14;6:5. prada lor, să închini Domnului întregului pământ averile lor!"
