1 ALLELUIA. Io celebrerò il Signore con tutto il cuore, Nel consiglio, e nella raunanza degli uomini diritti.2 Grandi son le opere del Signore, Spiegate davanti a tutti quelli che si dilettano in esse.3 Le sue opere son gloria e magnificenza; E la sua giustizia dimora in eterno.4 Egli ha rendute memorabili le sue maraviglie; Il Signore è grazioso e pietoso.5 Egli dà da vivere a quelli che lo temono; Egli si ricorda in eterno del suo patto6 Egli ha dichiarata al suo popolo la potenza delle sue opere, Dandogli l’eredità delle genti.7 Le opere delle sue mani son verità e dirittura; Tutti i suoi comandamenti son veraci;8 Stabili in sempiterno, Fatti con verità, e con dirittura.9 Egli ha mandata la redenzione al suo popolo; Egli ha ordinato il suo patto in eterno; Il suo Nome è santo e tremendo.10 Il principio della sapienza è il timor del Signore; Ogni uomo che mette in opera i suoi comandamenti, ha buon senno; La sua lode dimora in perpetuo

1 Praise ye Jah! I thank Jehovah with the whole heart, In the secret meeting of the upright, And of the company.2 Great [are] the works of Jehovah, Sought out by all desiring them.3 Honourable and majestic is His work, And His righteousness is standing for ever.4 A memorial He hath made of His wonders, Gracious and merciful [is] Jehovah.5 Prey He hath given to those fearing Him, He remembereth to the age His covenant.6 The power of His works He hath declared to His people, To give to them the inheritance of nations.7 The works of His hands [are] true and just, Stedfast [are] all His appointments.8 They are sustained for ever to the age. They are made in truth and uprightness.9 Redemption He hath sent to His people, He hath appointed to the age His covenant, Holy and fearful [is] His name.10 The beginning of wisdom [is] fear of Jehovah, Good understanding have all doing them, His praise [is] standing for ever!
