DICA pure ora Israele: Se non che il Signore fu per noi;2 Se non che il Signore fu per noi, Quando gli uomini si levarono contro a noi;3 Essi ci avrebbero tranghiottiti tutti vivi, Allora che l’ira loro ardeva contro a noi;4 Allora le acque ci avrebbero inondati; Il torrente sarebbe passato sopra l’anima nostra;5 Allora le acque gonfiate Sarebbero passate sopra l’anima nostra6 Benedetto sia il Signore, Che non ci ha dati in preda a’ lor denti.7 L’anima nostra è scampata dal laccio degli uccellatori, come un uccelletto; Il laccio è stato rotto, e noi siamo scampati.8 Il nostro aiuto è nel Nome del Signore, Che ha fatto il cielo e la terra
