Te Rohe Tapu

1 "I ngā wā anō e wehea ai e koutou te whenua hei wāhi tupu, me whakahere he whakahere mā Ihowā, me whakatapu tētahi wāhi o te whenua. Ko tōna roa ko te roa o ngā kākaho e rua tekau mā rima mano; ko te whānui kotahi tekau mano. Ka tapu tēnei, ōna taha katoa ā tawhio noa. 2 Waiho tētahi wāhi o tēnei kia rima rau te roa mō te wāhi tapu, kia rima rau te whānui, he tapawhā ā tawhio noa, kia rima tekau anō ngā whatīanga mō waho ake ā tawhio noa. 3 Me whanganga anō e koe tētahi wāhi o tēnei ka oti nei te whanganga kia rua tekau mā rima mano te roa, kia tekau mano te whānui; ā, hei reira te wāhi tapu, te Wāhi Tapu Rawa. 4 He wāhi tapu ia nō te whenua; mō ngā tohunga tērā, mō ngā minita o te wāhi tapu e whakatata ana ki te minita ki a Ihowā. Hei wāhi anō tērā mō ō rātou whare, hei wāhi tapu anō mō te wāhi tapu. 5 Ko te rua tekau mā rima mano nei te roa, tekau mano te whānui, mō ngā Rīwaiti, mō ngā minita o te whare, hei wāhi mō rātou, mō ngā rūma e rua tekau.

6 "Me whakarite anō e koutou te wāhi mō te pā, e rima mano te whānui, e rua tekau mā rima mano te roa, ki te taha o te wāhi tapu ka whakaherea nei; mō te whare katoa o Īharaira tērā.

7 "Ā, he aha he wāhi mō te rangatira, hei tētahi taha, hei tētahi taha o te wāhi tapu ka whakaherea nei, o te wāhi anō i te pā, ki mua o te wāhi tapu ka whakaherea nei, o te wāhi hoki i te pā, i te taha ki te hauāuru whaka te hauāuru, i te taha hoki ki te rāwhiti, whaka te rāwhiti, kia rite anō te roa ki tētahi o aua wāhi, me tīmata i te rohe ki te hauāuru ā tae noa ki te rohe ki te rāwhiti. 8 Kei te whenua te wāhi mōna i roto i a Īharaira! E kore anō āku rangatira e whakatupu kino i tāku iwi ā muri ake nei; engari me hoatu e rātou te whenua ki te whare o Īharaira, ki tēnei hapū, ki tēnei hapū.

9 "Ko te kupu tēnei a te Ariki, a Ihowā: Kāti tā koutou, e ngā rangatira o Īharaira; whakarērea atu te tūkino, te pāhua, mahia te whakawā, me te tika, whakamutua ā koutou peinga i tāku iwi, e ai tā te Ariki, tā Ihowā."

He Pāuna me he Whātau

10 "Kia tika ā koutou pāuna, kia tika te epa, kia tika te pāti. 11 Kia kotahi te mēhua mō te epa, mō te pāti. Ko te pāti he whakatekau nō te homa, ko te epa hoki he whakatekau nō te homa. Ko te mēhua mō taua mea ko te homa. 12 Ā, ko te hekere kia rua tekau ngā kera; ko tā koutou mane kia rua tekau hekere, kia rua tekau mā rima hekere, kia kotahi tekau mā rima hekere."

He Whakahere

13 "Ko te whakahere tēnei e whakaherea e koutou; he wīti, ko te wāhi tuaono o te epa o te homa; ā, me hōmai e koutou he pārei, hei te wāhi tuaono o te epa o te homa. 14 Nā, ko te tikanga mō te hinu, mō te pāti hinu, hei te whakatekau o te pāti i roto i te koro, he homa nei tāna, arā tekau ngā pāti; kotahi tekau hoki ngā pāti o te homa. 15 Kia kotahi anō reme i roto i te kāhui, i roto i ngā rau e rua, he mea nō ngā hāereerenga mākūkū o Īharaira; hei whakahere totokore, hei tahunga tinana, hei whakahere mō te pai, hei mea whakamārie mō rātou, e ai tā te Ariki, tā Ihowā. 16 Me hoatu tēnei whakahere e te iwi katoa o te whenua ki te rangatira i roto i a Īharaira. 17 Nā, ko tēnei tā te rangatira, he hōmai i ngā tahunga tinana, i ngā whakahere totokore, i ngā ringihanga, mō ngā hākari, mō ngā kōwhititanga marama, mō ngā hāpati, mō ngā huihuinga nui katoa o te whare o Īharaira. Kia rite mai anō i a ia te whakahere hara, te whakahere totokore, te tahunga tinana, ngā whakahere mō te pai, hei whakamārie mō te whare o Īharaira."

He Hākari

18 "Ko te kupu tēnei a Ihowā, a te Atua: I te marama tuatahi, i te tuatahi o ngā rā o te marama, me tiki e koe he pūru kūao, hei te mea kohakore, ka pure i te wāhi tapu. 19 Me tango anō e te tohunga tētahi wāhi o te toto o te whakahere hara, ka pani ki ngā pou o te whare, ki ngā koki e whā anō o te papa o te āta, ki ngā pou anō o te kūwaha o tō roto marae. 20 Ko tāu anō tērā e mea ai i te whitu o ngā rā o te marama hei mea mō te tangata i te hē, mō te kūware; ā, ka oti te whakamārie mō te whare.

21 "Hei te marama tuatahi, hei te tekau mā whā o ngā rā o te marama, tā koutou Kapenga, he hākari, e whitu ngā rā; ko te taro hei kai, he mea rēwenakore. 22 Kia rite mai anō hoki i te rangatira i taua rā, he pūru hei whakahere hara mōna, mō te iwi katoa o te whenua. 23 Kia rite mai anō i a ia i ngā rā e whitu o te hākari te tahunga tinana mā Ihowā, e whitu ngā pūru, e whitu ngā hipi toa, he mea kohakore i tēnei rā, i tēnei rā, i ngā rā e whitu; me tētahi kūao koati i tēnei rā, i tēnei rā, hei whakahere hara. 24 Kia rite mai anō i a ia he whakahere totokore, kotahi te pūru kia kotahi anō te epa, kotahi te hipi toa kia kotahi anō te epa, kotahi te epa kia kotahi hine hinu.

25 "I te whitu o ngā marama, i te tekau mā rima o ngā rā o te marama, i te hākari, ka mahia mai e ia ēnei mea, kia whitu ngā rā; kia rite ki te whakahere hara, ki te tahunga tinana, ki te whakahere totokore, ki te hinu hoki."

1 Moreover, when ye shall divide by lot the land for inheritance, ye shall offer an oblation unto Jehovah, a holy portion of the land; the length shall be the length of five and twenty thousand reeds, and the breadth shall be ten thousand: it shall be holy in all the border thereof round about. 2 Of this there shall be for the holy place five hundred in length by five hundred in breadth, square round about; and fifty cubits for the suburbs thereof round about. 3 And of this measure shalt thou measure a length of five and twenty thousand, and a breadth of ten thousand: and in it shall be the sanctuary, which is most holy. 4 It is a holy portion of the land; it shall be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, that come near to minister unto Jehovah; and it shall be a place for their houses, and a holy place for the sanctuary. 5 And five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in breadth, shall be unto the Levites, the ministers of the house, for a possession unto themselves, for twenty chambers. 6 And ye shall appoint the possession of the city five thousand broad, and five and twenty thousand long, side by side with the oblation of the holy portion: it shall be for the whole house of Israel. 7 And whatsoever is for the prince shall be on the one side and on the other side of the holy oblation and of the possession of the city, in front of the holy oblation and in front of the possession of the city, on the west side westward, and on the east side eastward; and in length answerable unto one of the portions, from the west border unto the east border. 8 In the land it shall be to him for a possession in Israel: and my princes shall no more oppress my people; but they shall give the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes.

9 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: Let it suffice you, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute justice and righteousness; take away your exactions from my people, saith the Lord Jehovah. 10 Ye shall have just balances, and a just ephah, and a just bath. 11 The ephah and the bath shall be of one measure, that the bath may contain the tenth part of a homer, and the ephah the tenth part of a homer: the measure thereof shall be after the homer. 12 And the shekel shall be twenty gerahs; twenty shekels, five and twenty shekels, fifteen shekels, shall be your maneh.

13 This is the oblation that ye shall offer: the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of wheat; and ye shall give the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of barley; 14 and the set portion of oil, of the bath of oil, the tenth part of a bath out of the cor, which is ten baths, even a homer (for ten baths are a homer); 15 and one lamb of the flock, out of two hundred, from the well-watered pastures of Israel;—for a meal-offering, and for a burnt-offering, and for peace-offerings, to make atonement for them, saith the Lord Jehovah. 16 All the people of the land shall give unto this oblation for the prince in Israel. 17 And it shall be the prince’s part to give the burnt-offerings, and the meal-offerings, and the drink-offerings, in the feasts, and on the new moons, and on the sabbaths, in all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel: he shall prepare the sin-offering, and the meal-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.

18 Thus saith the Lord Jehovah: In the first month, in the first day of the month, thou shalt take a young bullock without blemish; and thou shalt cleanse the sanctuary. 19 And the priest shall take of the blood of the sin-offering, and put it upon the door-posts of the house, and upon the four corners of the ledge of the altar, and upon the posts of the gate of the inner court. 20 And so thou shalt do on the seventh day of the month for every one that erreth, and for him that is simple: so shall ye make atonement for the house.

21 In the first month, in the fourteenth day of the month, ye shall have the passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread shall be eaten. 22 And upon that day shall the prince prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bullock for a sin-offering. 23 And the seven days of the feast he shall prepare a burnt-offering to Jehovah, seven bullocks and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a he-goat daily for a sin-offering. 24 And he shall prepare a meal-offering, an ephah for a bullock, and an ephah for a ram, and a hin of oil to an ephah. 25 In the seventh month, in the fifteenth day of the month, in the feast, shall he do the like the seven days; according to the sin-offering, according to the burnt-offering, and according to the meal-offering, and according to the oil.
