1 " ‘Quando vocês distribuírem a terra como herança, apresentem ao Senhor como distrito sagrado uma porção da terra, com doze quilômetros e meio de comprimento e dez quilômetros de largura; toda essa área será santa.2 Desse terreno, uma área quadrada de duzentos e cinqüenta metros de lado servirá para o santuário, com vinte e cinco metros em redor para terreno aberto.3 No distrito sagrado, separe um pedaço de doze quilômetros e meio de comprimento e cinco quilômetros de largura. Nele estará o santuário, o Lugar Santíssimo.4 Essa será a porção sagrada da terra para os sacerdotes, os quais ministrarão no santuário e se aproximarão para ministrar diante do Senhor. Esse será um lugar para as suas casas, bem como um lugar santo para o santuário.5 Uma área de doze quilômetros e meio de comprimento e cinco quilômetros de largura pertencerá aos levitas, os quais servirão no templo; essa será a propriedade deles para ali viverem.6 " ‘Vocês darão, para que seja propriedade da cidade, uma área de dois quilômetros e meio de largura e doze quilômetros e meio de comprimento, adjacente à porção sagrada; ela pertencerá a toda a nação de Israel.7 " ‘O príncipe terá a terra que fica dos dois lados da área formada pelo distrito sagrado e pela propriedade da cidade. Ela se estenderá para o oeste desde o lado oeste e para o leste desde o lado leste, indo desde a fronteira ocidental até a fronteira oriental que é paralela a uma das porções tribais.8 Essa terra será sua propriedade em Israel. E os meus príncipes não oprimirão mais o meu povo, mas permitirão que a nação de Israel possua a terra de acordo com as suas tribos.9 " ‘Assim diz o Soberano Senhor: Vocês já foram muito longe, ó príncipes de Israel! Abandonem a violência e a opressão e façam o que é justo e direito. Parem de apossar-se do que é do meu povo, palavra do Soberano Senhor.10 Usem balanças honestas, arroba honesta e pote honesto.11 A arroba e o pote devem ser iguais, o pote terá um décimo de um barril; o barril deve ser a medida padrão para os dois.12 O peso padrão deve consistir de doze gramas. Vinte pesos mais vinte e cinco pesos mais quinze pesos equivalem a setecentos e vinte gramas.13 " ‘Esta é a oferta sagrada que vocês apresentarão: um sexto de uma arroba de cada barril de trigo e um sexto de uma arroba de cada barril de cevada.14 A porção prescrita de azeite, medida pelo pote, é de um décimo de pote de cada tonel, o qual consiste de dez potes ou um barril, pois dez potes equivalem a um barril.15 Também se deve tomar uma ovelha de cada rebanho de duzentas ovelhas das pastagens bem regadas de Israel. Isso será usado para as ofertas de cereal, os holocaustos e as ofertas de comunhão para fazer propiciação pelo povo, palavra do Soberano Senhor.16 Todo o povo da terra participará nessa oferta sagrada para o uso do príncipe em Israel.17 Será dever do príncipe fornecer os holocaustos, as ofertas de cereal e as ofertas derramadas nas festas, nas luas novas e nos sábados, em todas as festas fixas da nação de Israel. Ele fornecerá as ofertas pelo pecado, as ofertas de cereal, os holocaustos e as ofertas de comunhão para fazer propiciação em favor da nação de Israel.18 " ‘Assim diz o Soberano Senhor: No primeiro dia do primeiro mês você apanhará um novilho sem defeito e purificará o santuário.19 O sacerdote apanhará um pouco do sangue da oferta pelo pecado e o colocará nos batentes do templo, nos quatro cantos da saliência superior do altar e nos batentes do pátio interno.20 Você fará o mesmo no dia sete do mês em favor de qualquer pessoa que pecar sem intenção ou por ignorância; assim vocês deverão fazer propiciação em favor do templo.21 " ‘No dia catorze do primeiro mês vocês observarão a Páscoa, uma festa de sete dias, na qual vocês comerão pão sem fermento.22 Naquele dia o príncipe fornecerá um novilho em favor de si mesmo e de todo o povo da terra como oferta pelo pecado.23 Diariamente, durante os sete dias da festa, ele fornecerá sete novilhos e sete carneiros sem defeito como holocaustos ao Senhor, e um bode como oferta pelo pecado.24 Ele fornecerá como oferta de cereal, uma arroba para cada novilho e uma arroba para cada carneiro, juntamente com um galão de azeite para cada arroba.25 " ‘Durante os sete dias da festa, que começa no dia quinze do sétimo mês, ele trará as mesmas dádivas para ofertas pelo pecado, os holocaustos, e as ofertas de cereal e azeite.

1 Moreover, when you{+} will divide by lot the land for inheritance, you{+} will offer an oblation to Yahweh, a holy portion of the land; the length will be the length of five and twenty thousand [reeds], and the width will be twenty thousand: it will be holy in all its border round about.2 Of this there will be for the holy place five hundred [in length] by five hundred [in width], square round about; and fifty cubits for its suburbs round about.3 And of this measure you will measure a length of five and twenty thousand, and a width of ten thousand: and in it will be the sanctuary, which is most holy.4 It is a holy portion of the land; it will be for the priests, the ministers of the sanctuary, that come near to minister to Yahweh; and it will be a place for their houses, and a holy place for the sanctuary.5 And five and twenty thousand in length, and ten thousand in width, will be to the Levites, the ministers of the house, for a possession to themselves, [for] cities to live in.6 And you{+} will appoint the possession of the city five thousand broad, and five and twenty thousand long, side by side with the oblation of the holy portion: it will be for the whole house of Israel.7 And [whatever is] for the prince [will be] on the one side and on the other side of the holy oblation and of the possession of the city, in front of the holy oblation and in front of the possession of the city, on the west side westward, and on the east side eastward; and in length answerable to one of the portions, from the west border to the east border.8 In the land it will be to him for a possession in Israel: and my princes will no more oppress my people; but they will give the land to the house of Israel according to their tribes.9 Thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: Let it suffice you{+}, O princes of Israel: remove violence and spoil, and execute justice and righteousness; take away your{+} exactions from my people, says the Sovereign Yahweh.10 You{+} will have just balances, and a just ephah, and a just bath.11 The ephah and the bath will be of one measure, that the bath may contain the tenth part of a homer, and the ephah the tenth part of a homer: its measure will be after the homer.12 And the shekel will be twenty gerahs; twenty shekels, five and twenty shekels, fifteen shekels, will be your{+} maneh.13 This is the oblation that you{+} will offer: the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of wheat; and you{+} will give the sixth part of an ephah from a homer of barley;14 and the set portion of oil, of the bath of oil, the tenth part of a bath out of the cor, [which is] ten baths, even a homer; (for ten baths are a homer;)15 and one lamb of the flock, out of two hundred, from the well-watered pastures of Israel; -for a meal-offering, and for a burnt-offering, and for peace-offerings, to make atonement for them, says the Sovereign Yahweh.16 All the people of the land will give to this oblation for the prince in Israel.17 And it will be the prince's part to give the burnt-offerings, and the meal-offerings, and the drink-offerings, in the feasts, and on the new moons, and on the Sabbaths, in all the appointed feasts of the house of Israel: he will prepare the sin-offering, and the meal-offering, and the burnt-offering, and the peace-offerings, to make atonement for the house of Israel.18 Thus says the Sovereign Yahweh: In the first [month], in the first [day] of the month, you will take a young bull without blemish; and you will cleanse the sanctuary.19 And the priest will take of the blood of the sin-offering, and put it on the door-posts of the house, and on the four corners of the ledge of the altar, and on the posts of the gate of the inner court.20 And so you will do on the seventh [day] of the month for everyone who errs, and for him who is simple: so you{+} will make atonement for the house.21 In the first [month], in the fourteenth day of the month, you{+} will have the Passover, a feast of seven days; unleavened bread will be eaten.22 And on that day the prince will prepare for himself and for all the people of the land a bull for a sin-offering.23 And the seven days of the feast he will prepare a burnt-offering to Yahweh, seven bullocks and seven rams without blemish daily the seven days; and a he-goat daily for a sin-offering.24 And he will prepare a meal-offering, an ephah for a bull, and an ephah for a ram, and a hin of oil to an ephah.25 In the seventh [month], in the fifteenth day of the month, in the feast, he will do the like the seven days; according to the sin-offering, according to the burnt-offering, and according to the meal-offering, and according to the oil.
