1 "You shall make the altar of acacia wood, five cubits long and five cubits broad; the altar shall be square, and its height shall be three cubits.2 And you shall make horns for it on its four corners; its horns shall be of one piece with it, and you shall overlay it with bronze.3 You shall make pots for it to receive its ashes, and shovels and basins and forks and firepans; all its utensils you shall make of bronze.4 You shall also make for it a grating, a network of bronze; and upon the net you shall make four bronze rings at its four corners.5 And you shall set it under the ledge of the altar so that the net shall extend halfway down the altar.6 And you shall make poles for the altar, poles of acacia wood, and overlay them with bronze;7 and the poles shall be put through the rings, so that the poles shall be upon the two sides of the altar, when it is carried.8 You shall make it hollow, with boards; as it has been shown you on the mountain, so shall it be made.9 "You shall make the court of the tabernacle. On the south side the court shall have hangings of fine twined linen a hundred cubits long for one side;10 their pillars shall be twenty and their bases twenty, of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.11 And likewise for its length on the north side there shall be hangings a hundred cubits long, their pillars twenty and their bases twenty, of bronze, but the hooks of the pillars and their fillets shall be of silver.12 And for the breadth of the court on the west side there shall be hangings for fifty cubits, with ten pillars and ten bases.13 The breadth of the court on the front to the east shall be fifty cubits.14 The hangings for the one side of the gate shall be fifteen cubits, with three pillars and three bases.15 On the other side the hangings shall be fifteen cubits, with three pillars and three bases.16 For the gate of the court there shall be a screen twenty cubits long, of blue and purple and scarlet stuff and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework; it shall have four pillars and with them four bases.17 All the pillars around the court shall be filleted with silver; their hooks shall be of silver, and their bases of bronze.18 The length of the court shall be a hundred cubits, the breadth fifty, and the height five cubits, with hangings of fine twined linen and bases of bronze.19 All the utensils of the tabernacle for every use, and all its pegs and all the pegs of the court, shall be of bronze.20 "And you shall command the people of Israel that they bring to you pure beaten olive oil for the light, that a lamp may be set up to burn continually.21 In the tent of meeting, outside the veil which is before the testimony, Aaron and his sons shall tend it from evening to morning before the LORD. It shall be a statute for ever to be observed throughout their generations by the people of Israel.

1 O Senhor disse a Moisés:

— Faça um altar de madeira de acácia. Ele será quadrado, medindo dois metros e vinte de comprimento por dois metros e vinte de largura e um metro e trinta de altura. 2 Nos quatro cantos ponha quatro pontas, que formarão uma só peça com o altar, que deverá ser revestido de bronze. 3 Faça vasilhas para recolher a gordura e as cinzas e faça pás, bacias, garfos e braseiros; todas essas peças serão feitas de bronze. 4 Faça também uma grelha de bronze em forma de rede e nos seus cantos ponha quatro argolas de bronze. 5 Coloque essas argolas debaixo da beirada do altar, de maneira que a grelha chegue até a metade da altura do altar. 6 Para carregar o altar, faça cabos de madeira de acácia e revista-os de bronze. 7 Esses cabos deverão ser enfiados nas argolas, de um lado e do outro do altar, quando este tiver de ser carregado. 8 Esse altar, feito de madeira, será oco, de acordo com o modelo que eu lhe mostrei no monte.

9 — Faça para a Tenda Sagrada um pátio cercado de cortinas de linho fino. No lado sul as cortinas deverão ter quarenta e quatro metros de comprimento. 10 Elas serão sustentadas por vinte postes e vinte bases feitos de bronze. Os ganchos dos postes e os suportes das cortinas serão de prata. 11 Faça a mesma coisa no lado norte do pátio. 12,13 O pátio terá vinte e dois metros de largura; portanto, nos lados oeste e leste as cortinas deverão ter vinte e dois metros de comprimento. Para sustentarem as cortinas, haverá dez postes e dez bases. 14,15 Cada lado da entrada terá cortinas de seis metros e sessenta de comprimento, com três postes e três bases. 16 Na entrada do pátio haverá uma cortina de oito metros e oitenta de comprimento. Faça essa cortina de tecido feito de linho fino e de fios de lã azul, púrpura e vermelha e enfeitada com bordados. A cortina será sustentada por quatro postes e quatro bases. 17 Todos os postes em volta do pátio deverão ser unidos por suportes de prata. Os seus ganchos serão de prata, e as suas bases serão de bronze. 18 O pátio terá quarenta e quatro metros de comprimento por vinte e dois de largura; a altura das cortinas será de dois metros e vinte. As cortinas serão de linho fino, e as bases, de bronze. 19 Todos os objetos usados no serviço da Tenda, as estacas da Tenda e as estacas do pátio serão de bronze.

20 — Moisés, mande que os israelitas lhe tragam o melhor azeite para o candelabro, a fim de que ele possa ser aceso todas as tardes. 21 Arão e os seus filhos colocarão o candelabro na Tenda da Minha Presença, do lado de fora da cortina que está na frente da arca da aliança. O azeite ficará ali queimando na minha presença, desde a tarde até de manhã. Essa ordem deverá ser obedecida para sempre pelos israelitas e pelos seus descendentes.
