1 "Moreover you shall make the tabernacle with ten curtains of fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet stuff; with cherubim skilfully worked shall you make them.2 The length of each curtain shall be twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits; all the curtains shall have one measure.3 Five curtains shall be coupled to one another; and the other five curtains shall be coupled to one another.4 And you shall make loops of blue on the edge of the outmost curtain in the first set; and likewise you shall make loops on the edge of the outmost curtain in the second set.5 Fifty loops you shall make on the one curtain, and fifty loops you shall make on the edge of the curtain that is in the second set; the loops shall be opposite one another.6 And you shall make fifty clasps of gold, and couple the curtains one to the other with the clasps, that the tabernacle may be one whole.7 "You shall also make curtains of goats' hair for a tent over the tabernacle; eleven curtains shall you make.8 The length of each curtain shall be thirty cubits, and the breadth of each curtain four cubits; the eleven curtains shall have the same measure.9 And you shall couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and the sixth curtain you shall double over at the front of the tent.10 And you shall make fifty loops on the edge of the curtain that is outmost in one set, and fifty loops on the edge of the curtain which is outmost in the second set.11 "And you shall make fifty clasps of bronze, and put the clasps into the loops, and couple the tent together that it may be one whole.12 And the part that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the back of the tabernacle.13 And the cubit on the one side, and the cubit on the other side, of what remains in the length of the curtains of the tent shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle, on this side and that side, to cover it.14 And you shall make for the tent a covering of tanned rams' skins and goatskins.15 "And you shall make upright frames for the tabernacle of acacia wood.16 Ten cubits shall be the length of a frame, and a cubit and a half the breadth of each frame.17 There shall be two tenons in each frame, for fitting together; so shall you do for all the frames of the tabernacle.18 You shall make the frames for the tabernacle: twenty frames for the south side;19 and forty bases of silver you shall make under the twenty frames, two bases under one frame for its two tenons, and two bases under another frame for its two tenons;20 and for the second side of the tabernacle, on the north side twenty frames,21 and their forty bases of silver, two bases under one frame, and two bases under another frame;22 and for the rear of the tabernacle westward you shall make six frames.23 And you shall make two frames for corners of the tabernacle in the rear;24 they shall be separate beneath, but joined at the top, at the first ring; thus shall it be with both of them; they shall form the two corners.25 And there shall be eight frames, with their bases of silver, sixteen bases; two bases under one frame, and two bases under another frame.26 "And you shall make bars of acacia wood, five for the frames of the one side of the tabernacle,27 and five bars for the frames of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the frames of the side of the tabernacle at the rear westward.28 The middle bar, halfway up the frames, shall pass through from end to end.29 You shall overlay the frames with gold, and shall make their rings of gold for holders for the bars; and you shall overlay the bars with gold.30 And you shall erect the tabernacle according to the plan for it which has been shown you on the mountain.31 "And you shall make a veil of blue and purple and scarlet stuff and fine twined linen; in skilled work shall it be made, with cherubim;32 and you shall hang it upon four pillars of acacia overlaid with gold, with hooks of gold, upon four bases of silver.33 And you shall hang the veil from the clasps, and bring the ark of the testimony in thither within the veil; and the veil shall separate for you the holy place from the most holy.34 You shall put the mercy seat upon the ark of the testimony in the most holy place.35 And you shall set the table outside the veil, and the lampstand on the south side of the tabernacle opposite the table; and you shall put the table on the north side.36 "And you shall make a screen for the door of the tent, of blue and purple and scarlet stuff and fine twined linen, embroidered with needlework.37 And you shall make for the screen five pillars of acacia, and overlay them with gold; their hooks shall be of gold, and you shall cast five bases of bronze for them.

1 O Senhor disse a Moisés:

— Faça a parte de dentro da Tenda Sagrada com dez cortinas de tecido feito de linho fino e de fios de lã azul, púrpura e vermelha. Nessas cortinas serão bordadas figuras de querubins. 2 Cada cortina deverá ter doze metros e meio de comprimento por um metro e oitenta de largura. 3 Costure cinco delas umas nas outras, formando assim uma só peça. Faça a mesma coisa com as outras cinco. 4 Ponha laçadas de tecido azul na beirada de fora da última cortina de cada uma das duas peças de cortinas. 5 Faça cinquenta laçadas para a beirada da primeira cortina da primeira peça e cinquenta para a beirada da última cortina da segunda peça, de modo que as laçadas fiquem de frente umas para as outras. 6 Faça também cinquenta prendedores de ouro e com eles junte os dois jogos de cortinas para que formem uma só peça.

7 — Faça uma cobertura para a Tenda, com onze pedaços de pano feito de pelos de cabra. 8 Os pedaços deverão ter o mesmo tamanho, medindo treze metros e trinta de comprimento por um metro e oitenta de largura. 9 Costure cinco pedaços uns nos outros, formando uma peça, e os outros seis, formando outra peça, ficando o sexto pedaço dobrado na parte da frente da Tenda. 10 Ponha cinquenta laçadas na beirada do último pedaço da primeira peça e cinquenta laçadas na beirada da outra peça. 11 Faça também cinquenta prendedores de bronze e passe esses prendedores nas laçadas, juntando assim as duas peças uma com a outra para que formem uma cobertura só. 12 A metade da cortina que sobrar ficará pendurada na parte de trás da Tenda. 13 Os quarenta e cinco centímetros que sobrarem de cada lado do comprimento das cortinas ficarão de um lado e do outro para cobrir a Tenda.

14 — Faça mais uma cobertura, de peles de carneiro tingidas de vermelho; e em cima desta coloque outra cobertura, feita de peles finas.

15 — Faça também armações de madeira de acácia para a Tenda. 16 Cada uma das armações terá quatro metros e quarenta e cinco de comprimento por sessenta e sete centímetros de largura. 17 Cada armação terá dois encaixes para juntar uma à outra. Você fará isso com todas as armações da Tenda. 18 Faça vinte armações para o lado sul 19 e ponha debaixo dessas vinte armações quarenta bases de prata, duas debaixo de cada armação, para firmarem os seus dois encaixes. 20 Faça também vinte armações para o lado norte 21 e quarenta bases de prata, duas para cada armação. 22 Para o lado de trás da Tenda, o lado oeste, você fará seis armações 23 e mais duas armações para os cantos da Tenda. 24 Essas armações dos cantos deverão ser juntadas na base, formando uma só peça até a primeira argola que fica na parte de cima. As duas armações que formam os dois cantos deverão ser colocadas desse jeito. 25 Portanto, haverá oito armações com as suas dezesseis bases de prata, duas debaixo de cada armação.

26 — Faça quinze travessas de madeira de acácia, cinco para as armações de um lado da Tenda, 27 cinco para as armações do outro lado e cinco para as armações do lado oeste, na parte de trás. 28 A travessa do centro passará a meia altura entre as armações, de um lado da Tenda até o outro. 29 Revista de ouro essas armações e ponha nelas argolas de ouro, por onde passarão os cabos, que também deverão ser revestidos de ouro. 30 Arme a Tenda de acordo com o modelo que eu lhe mostrei no monte.

31 — Faça uma cortina de tecido feito de linho fino e de fios de lã azul, púrpura e vermelha e bordada com figuras de querubins. 32 Pendure essa cortina em quatro postes de madeira de acácia revestidos de ouro, que terão prendedores de ouro e serão fixados em quatro bases de prata. 33 Pendure a cortina debaixo dos prendedores e atrás da cortina ponha a arca da aliança, onde estão as duas placas de pedra. A cortina separará o Lugar Santo do Lugar Santíssimo. 34 Ponha a tampa na arca da aliança, no Lugar Santíssimo. 35 Fora do Lugar Santíssimo ponha a mesa no lado norte da Tenda e coloque o candelabro no lado sul.

36 — Para a entrada da Tenda faça uma cortina de tecido feito de linho fino e de fios de lã azul, púrpura e vermelha e enfeitada com bordados. 37 Para segurarem essa cortina, faça cinco postes de madeira de acácia revestidos de ouro e com prendedores de ouro. E faça cinco bases de bronze para os postes.
