Davi promete a Deus andar perante ele com sinceridade

Salmo de Davi

1 *Sl 51.14;89.1;145.7Cantarei a benignidade e a justiça;

a ti, Jeová, cantarei louvores.

2 *1Sm 18.5,14Portar-me-ei sabiamente num caminho perfeito;

Oh! Quando virás ter comigo?

Andarei dentro de minha casa com *1Rs 9.4coração perfeito.

3 Não porei diante dos olhos coisa *Dt 15.9que seja torpe;

aborreço a conduta dos que *Sl 40.4se desviam;

não se me pegará a mim.

4 O coração *Pv 11.20perverso será afastado de mim;

não conhecerei o mal.

5 Ao que, às ocultas, *Sl 50.20;Jr 9.4calunia ao seu próximo, a este destruirei;

àquele que tem *Sl 10.4;18.27;Pv 6.17olhar altivo e coração soberbo, não o suportarei.

6 Os meus olhos estarão sobre os fiéis da terra, para que habitem comigo;

aquele que anda por *Sl 119.1caminho perfeito, esse me servirá.

7 Não assistirá em minha casa aquele *Sl 43.1;52.2que usa de fraude;

diante dos meus olhos, não *Sl 52.4-5ficará firme aquele que fala mentiras.

8 De manhã em manhã, *Sl 75.10acabarei com todos os perversos da terra,

a fim de *Sl 118.10-12extirpar *Sl 46.4, ref.da cidade de Jeová todos os que obram iniquidade.

5 Whoso privily slandereth his neighbour, him will I cut off: him that hath an high look and a proud heart will not I suffer.
