Tristeza dos exilados em Babilônia

1 Junto aos *Ez 1.1,3rios de Babilônia,

ali, nos assentamos, nos pusemos a *Ne 1.4chorar,

ao recordarmo-nos de Sião.

2 Nos *Lv 23.40;Is 44.4salgueiros que há no meio dela,

*Jó 30.31;Is 24.8;Ez 26.13penduramos as nossas harpas,

3 pois ali os que nos levaram cativos nos *Sl 80.6pediam canções,

e os nossos *Sl 79.7;Is 49.17;64.11atormentadores exigiam de nós alegria, dizendo:

Cantai-nos das canções de Sião.

4 Como cantaremos *2Cr 29.27;Ne 12.46a canção de Jeová

em terra de estrangeiros?

5 Se eu me *Is 65.11esquecer de ti, Jerusalém,

esqueça-se a minha mão direita da sua destreza.

6 Apegue-se-me a *Sl 22.15;Jó 29.10;Ez 3.26língua ao céu da boca,

se eu não me lembrar de ti,

se eu não *Ne 2.3preferir Jerusalém à minha maior alegria.

7 Lembra-te, Jeová, dos filhos de *Sl 83.4-8;Is 34.5-6;Jr 49.7-22;Lm 4.21;Ez 25.12-14;35.2;Am 1.11;Ob 10-14Edom,

do dia de Jerusalém.

Eles disseram: Arrasai-a, arrasai-a,

*Sl 74.7;Hc 3.13até os seus alicerces.

8 Ó filha de Babilônia, que *Is 13.1-22;47.1-15;Jr 25.12;50.1-46;51.1-64hás de ser destruída,

feliz será aquele que te *Jr 50.15;51.24,35-36,49retribuir

conforme nos fizeste a nós!

9 Feliz será aquele que agarrar e *2Rs 8.12;Is 13.16;Os 13.16;Na 3.10esmagar os teus pequeninos

contra uma penha!
