1 *Sl 17.8Guarda-me, ó Deus, porque *Sl 7.1em ti me refugiei.

2 A Jeová eu disse: Tu és Senhor meu;

*Sl 73.25além de ti, não tenho outro bem.

3 Quanto aos *Sl 101.6santos que estão na terra,

eles são os ilustres *Sl 119.63nos quais está todo o meu prazer.

4 Muitas serão as *Sl 32.10penas daqueles que trocam a Jeová por outros deuses.

Não oferecerei as suas libações de *Sl 106.37-38sangue,

nem *Êx 23.13;Js 23.7tomarei os seus nomes nos meus lábios.

5 Jeová é a *Sl 73.26;119.57;142.5;Lm 3.24porção da minha herança e do meu *Sl 23.5cálice.

Tu és da minha *Sl 125.3sorte o sustentáculo.

6 As *Sl 78.55sortes me caíram em lugares amenos,

*Jr 3.19linda é a minha herança.

7 Bendirei a Jeová, que me *Sl 73.24aconselha.

Até de *Sl 77.6noite me instruem os meus rins.

8 *Sl 16.8-11;At 2.25-28Tenho *Sl 27.8;123.1-2posto sempre a Jeová diante de mim;

estando ele *Sl 73.23;110.5;121.5à minha direita, *Sl 112.6não serei abalado.

9 Portanto, está alegre o *Sl 4.7;13.5meu coração, e se regozija a *Sl 30.12;57.8;108.1minha alegria;

também a minha carne *Sl 4.8habitará em segurança.

10 Pois não *Sl 49.15;86.13abandonarás a minha alma ao Sheol,

nem *At 13.35permitirás que o teu santo veja a corrupção.

11 Far-me-ás conhecer a *Sl 139.24;Mt 7.14vereda da vida.

Na tua *Sl 21.6;43.4presença, há plenitude de alegria;

na tua destra, há *Sl 36.7-8;46.4delícias para sempre.

1 Preserve me, God, for I take refuge in you.

2 My soul, you have said to Yahweh, "You are my Lord.

Apart from you I have no good thing."

3 As for the saints who are in the earth,

they are the excellent ones in whom is all my delight.

4 Their sorrows shall be multiplied who give gifts to another god.

Their drink offerings of blood I will not offer,

nor take their names on my lips.

5 Yahweh assigned my portion and my cup.

You made my lot secure.

6 The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places.

Yes, I have a good inheritance.

7 I will bless Yahweh, who has given me counsel.

Yes, my heart instructs me in the night seasons.

8 I have set Yahweh always before me.

Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.

9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my tongue rejoices.

My body shall also dwell in safety.

10 For you will not leave my soul in Sheol,*16:10 Sheol is the place of the dead.

neither will you allow your holy one to see corruption.

11 You will show me the path of life.

In your presence is fullness of joy.

In your right hand there are pleasures forever more.
