Oração da noite de confiança em Deus

Deus da minha justiça.

2 Até quando, varões ilustres, tornareis a *Sl 3.3minha glória em *Sl 69.7-10,19-20desonra?

Amareis *Sl 12.2;31.6a vaidade, buscareis *Sl 31.18a mentira? (Selá)

3 Sabei, porém, que Jeová *Sl 135.4distingue aquele que é *Sl 31.23;50.5;79.2piedoso;

Jeová *Sl 6.8-9;17.6ouvirá, quando eu clamar a ele.

4 *Sl 99.1Tremei e não *Sl 119.11;Ef 4.26pequeis;

*Sl 77.6consultai, no leito, com o vosso coração e sossegai. (Selá)

5 Oferecei *Sl 51.19;Dt 33.19sacrifícios de justiça

que a deles, *Sl 119.14,72quando o trigo e o mosto lhes abundam.

8 Em paz, me *Jó 11.19;3.5deitarei e dormirei num instante,

porque só tu, Jeová, fazes que eu *Dt 12.10;16.9habite em segurança.

1 Answer me when I call, God of my righteousness.

Give me relief from my distress.

Have mercy on me, and hear my prayer.

2 You sons of men, how long shall my glory be turned into dishonor?

Will you love vanity and seek after falsehood? Selah.

3 But know that Yahweh has set apart for himself him who is godly;

Yahweh will hear when I call to him.

4 Stand in awe, and don’t sin.

Search your own heart on your bed, and be still. Selah.

5 Offer the sacrifices of righteousness.

Put your trust in Yahweh.

6 Many say, "Who will show us any good?"

Yahweh, let the light of your face shine on us.

7 You have put gladness in my heart,

more than when their grain and their new wine are increased.

8 In peace I will both lay myself down and sleep,

for you alone, Yahweh, make me live in safety.
