1 Cantai ao Senhor um cântico novo, cantai ao Senhor toda a terra.2 Cantai ao Senhor, bendizei o seu nome; anunciai a sua salvação de dia em dia.3 Anunciai entre as nações a sua glória; entre todos os povos as suas maravilhas.4 Porque grande é o Senhor, e mui digno de louvor, mais temível do que todos os deuses.5 Porque todos os deuses dos povos são ídolos, mas o Senhor fez os céus.6 Glória e majestade estão ante a sua face, força e formosura no seu santuário.7 Dai ao Senhor, ó famílias dos povos, dai ao Senhor glória e força.8 Dai ao Senhor a glória devida ao seu nome; trazei oferenda, e entrai nos seus átrios.9 Adorai ao Senhor na beleza da santidade; tremei diante dele toda a terra.10 Dizei entre os gentios que o Senhor reina. O mundo também se firmará para que se não abale; julgará os povos com retidão.11 Alegrem-se os céus, e regozije-se a terra; brame o mar e a sua plenitude.12 Alegre-se o campo com tudo o que há nele; então se regozijarão todas as árvores do bosque,13 Ante a face do Senhor, porque vem, porque vem a julgar a terra; julgará o mundo com justiça e os povos com a sua verdade.

1 Sing ye unto Jehovah a new song: sing unto Jehovah, all the earth.2 Sing unto Jehovah, bless his name; publish his salvation from day to day.3 Declare his glory among the nations, his wondrous works among all the peoples.4 For Jehovah is great and exceedingly to be praised; he is terrible above all gods.5 For all the gods of the peoples are idols; but Jehovah made the heavens.6 Majesty and splendour are before him; strength and beauty are in his sanctuary.7 Give unto Jehovah, ye families of peoples, give unto Jehovah glory and strength;8 Give unto Jehovah the glory of his name; bring an oblation and come into his courts;9 Worship Jehovah in holy splendour; tremble before him, all the earth.10 Say among the nations, Jehovah reigneth! yea, the world is established, it shall not be moved; he will execute judgment upon the peoples with equity.11 Let the heavens rejoice, and let the earth be glad; let the sea roar, and the fulness thereof;12 Let the field exult and all that is therein. Then shall all the trees of the forest sing for joy,13 Before Jehovah, for he cometh; for he cometh to judge the earth: he will judge the world with righteousness, and the peoples in his faithfulness.
