1 Halleluja! Jeg vil prise Herren av hele mitt hjerte i de opriktiges råd og i menigheten. 2 Store er Herrens gjerninger, søkt av alle dem som har lyst til dem. 3 Høihet og herlighet er hans gjerning, og hans rettferdighet står fast evindelig. 4 Han har sørget for at hans undergjerninger ihukommes; Herren er nådig og barmhjertig. 5 Han har gitt dem føde som frykter ham; han kommer sin pakt i hu evindelig.

6 Han har kunngjort sine gjerningers kraft for sitt folk idet han har gitt dem hedningers arv.

7 Hans henders gjerninger er sannhet og rett, alle hans bud er trofaste; 8 de er grunnfestet for all tid, for evighet, de er gjort i sannhet og rettvishet. 9 Han har sendt sitt folk forløsning, han har fastsatt sin pakt for evig tid; hans navn er hellig og forferdelig. 10 frykte Herren er begynnelsen til visdom; god forstand har alle de som gjør derefter. Hans pris varer til evig tid.

2 The works of the LORD are great, sought out of all them that have pleasure therein.

3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.
