1 And thou, son of man, prophesy against Gog, and say, Thus saith the Lord GOD: Behold, I am against thee, O Gog, prince of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal: 2 and I will turn thee about, and will lead thee on, and will cause thee to come up from the uttermost parts of the north; and I will bring thee upon the mountains of Israel: 3 and I will smite thy bow out of thy left hand, and will cause thine arrows to fall out of thy right hand. 4 Thou shalt fall upon the mountains of Israel, thou, and all thy hordes, and the peoples that are with thee: I will give thee unto the ravenous birds of every sort, and to the beasts of the field to be devoured. 5 Thou shalt fall upon the open field; for I have spoken it, saith the Lord GOD. 6 And I will send a fire on Magog, and on them that dwell securely in the isles: and they shall know that I am the LORD. 7 And my holy name will I make known in the midst of my people Israel; neither will I suffer my holy name to be profaned any more: and the nations shall know that I am the LORD, the Holy One in Israel. 8 Behold, it cometh, and it shall be done, saith the Lord GOD; this is the day whereof I have spoken. 9 And they that dwell in the cities of Israel shall go forth, and shall make fires of the weapons and burn them, both the shields and the bucklers, the bows and the arrows, and the handstaves, and the spears, and they shall make fires of them seven years. 10 so that they shall take no wood out of the field, neither cut down any out of the forests; for they shall make fires of the weapons: and they shall spoil those that spoiled them, and rob those that robbed them, saith the Lord GOD. 11 And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will give unto Gog a place for burial in Israel, the valley of them that pass through on the east of the sea: and it shall stop them that pass through: and there shall they bury Gog and all his multitude: and they shall call it The valley of Hamon-gog. 12 And seven months shall the house of Israel be burying of them, that they may cleanse the land. 13 Yea, all the people of the land shall bury them; and it shall be to them a renown, in the day that I shall be glorified, saith the Lord GOD. 14 And they shall sever out men of continual employment, that shall pass through the land to bury them that pass through, that remain upon the face of the land, to cleanse it: after the end of seven months shall they search. 15 And they that pass through the land shall pass through; and when any seeth a man’s bone, then shall he set up a sign by it, till the buriers have buried it in the valley of Hamon-gog. 16 And Hamonah shall also be the name of a city. Thus shall they cleanse the land. 17 And thou, son of man, thus saith the Lord GOD: Speak unto the birds of every sort, and to every beast of the field, Assemble yourselves, and come; gather yourselves on every side to my sacrifice that I do sacrifice for you, even a great sacrifice upon the mountains of Israel, that ye may eat flesh and drink blood. 18 Ye shall eat the flesh of the mighty, and drink the blood of the princes of the earth, of rams, of lambs, and of goats, of bullocks, all of them fatlings of Bashan. 19 And ye shall eat fat till ye be full, and drink blood till ye be drunken, of my sacrifice which I have sacrificed for you. 20 And ye shall be filled at my table with horses and chariots, with mighty men, and with all men of war, saith the Lord GOD. 21 And I will set my glory among the nations, and all the nations shall see my judgment that I have executed, and my hand that I have laid upon them. 22 So the house of Israel shall know that I am the LORD their God, from that day and forward. 23 And the nations shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity; because they trespassed against me, and I hid my face from them: so I gave them into the hand of their adversaries, and they fell all of them by the sword. 24 According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions did I unto them; and I hid my face from them. 25 Therefore thus saith the Lord GOD: Now will I bring again the captivity of Jacob, and have mercy upon the whole house of Israel; and I will be jealous for my holy name. 26 And they shall bear their shame, and all their trespasses whereby they have trespassed against me, when they shall dwell securely in their land, and none shall make them afraid; 27 when I have brought them again from the peoples, and gathered them out of their enemies’ lands, and am sanctified in them in the sight of many nations. 28 And they shall know that I am the LORD their God, in that I caused them to go into captivity among the nations, and have gathered them unto their own land; and I will leave none of them any more there; 29 neither will I hide my face any more from them: for I have poured out my spirit upon the house of Israel, saith the Lord GOD.

1 — Filho do homem, profetize contra Gogue e diga: Assim diz o Senhor Deus: "Eis que estou contra você, Gogue, príncipe de Rôs, de Meseque e Tubal. 2 Eu o farei mudar de direção e o conduzirei. Farei com que você venha dos lados do Norte e o trarei aos montes de Israel. 3 Então tirarei o arco da sua mão esquerda e farei cair as flechas que estão em sua mão direita. 4 Nos montes de Israel, você cairá — você, todas as suas tropas e os povos que estão com você. Eu o entregarei a todo tipo de ave de rapina e aos animais selvagens, para que o devorem. 5 Você cairá em campo aberto, porque eu falei, diz o Senhor Deus. 6 Porei fogo em Magogue e nos que vivem em segurança nas terras do mar. Então eles saberão que eu sou o Senhor. 7 Farei conhecido o meu santo nome no meio do meu povo de Israel e nunca mais deixarei que o meu santo nome seja profanado. Então as nações saberão que eu sou o Senhor, o Santo em Israel."

8 — Eis que vem e se cumprirá, diz o Senhor Deus; este é o dia de que tenho falado. 9 Os moradores das cidades de Israel sairão e farão fogo com as armas, queimando as couraças e os escudos, os arcos e as flechas, os porretes e as lanças; farão fogo com tudo isso durante sete anos. 10 Não terão de trazer lenha do campo, nem a cortarão dos bosques, mas com as armas acenderão fogo. Saquearão aqueles que os saquearam e despojarão aqueles que os despojaram, diz o Senhor Deus.

11 — Naquele dia, darei a Gogue um lugar de sepultura em Israel, o vale dos Viajantes, a leste do mar, que fará parar os que passarem por esse lugar. Gogue e todo o seu exército serão sepultados ali, e aquele lugar será chamado de Hamom-Gogue. 12 A casa de Israel levará sete meses para sepultá-los, a fim de limpar a terra. 13 Sim, todo o povo da terra os sepultará. E o dia em que eu for glorificado será para eles um dia memorável, diz o Senhor Deus. 14 Serão separados homens que, sem cessar, percorrerão a terra para sepultar os que tenham ficado nela, para a limpar; depois de sete meses, iniciarão a busca. 15 Ao percorrerem a terra, se um deles encontrar um osso humano, porá ao lado um sinal, até que os coveiros o sepultem no vale do Exército de Gogue. 16 Também haverá uma cidade com o nome de Hamoná. Assim, limparão a terra.

17 — Filho do homem, assim diz o Senhor Deus: Diga às aves de toda espécie e a todos os animais selvagens: "Reúnam-se e venham! Venham de toda parte para o sacrifício que eu estou oferecendo por vocês, um grande sacrifício nos montes de Israel. Vocês comerão carne e beberão sangue. 18 Comerão a carne dos poderosos e beberão o sangue dos príncipes da terra — os carneiros e cordeiros, os bodes e novilhos, todos engordados em Basã. 19 Vocês comerão gordura até se fartarem e beberão sangue até ficarem embriagados, no sacrifício que oferecerei por vocês. 20 À minha mesa, vocês se fartarão de cavalos e de cavaleiros, de valentes e de todos os homens de guerra", diz o Senhor Deus.

21 — Manifestarei a minha glória entre as nações, e todas as nações verão o meu juízo, que eu tiver executado, e a minha mão, que eu tiver posto sobre elas. 22 Desse dia em diante, a casa de Israel saberá que eu sou o Senhor, seu Deus. 23 As nações saberão que a casa de Israel foi levada para o exílio por causa da sua iniquidade, porque foram infiéis a mim. Assim, escondi deles o meu rosto e os entreguei nas mãos dos seus adversários, e todos eles caíram à espada. 24 Eu os tratei de acordo com a sua impureza e as suas transgressões, e escondi deles o meu rosto.

25 — Portanto, assim diz o Senhor Deus: Agora, restaurarei a sorte de Jacó e me compadecerei de toda a casa de Israel; terei zelo pelo meu santo nome. 26 Quando eles habitarem seguros na sua terra, sem haver quem os atemorize, esquecerão a sua vergonha e toda a infidelidade com que se rebelaram contra mim. 27 Quando eu tornar a trazê-los do meio dos povos, e os houver ajuntado das terras de seus inimigos, revelarei neles a minha santidade diante de muitas nações. 28 Saberão que eu sou o Senhor, seu Deus, quando virem que eu os enviei para o cativeiro entre as nações, e os tornei a ajuntar para voltarem à sua terra, e que não deixarei que nenhum deles fique no exílio. 29 Nunca mais esconderei deles o meu rosto, pois derramarei o meu Espírito sobre a casa de Israel, diz o Senhor Deus.
