大卫的诗，交给诗班长，调用"舍明尼"。 1 耶和华啊！求你施行拯救，因为虔诚人没有了，

在世人中的信实人也不见了。

2 他们彼此说谎，

用谄媚的嘴唇说话，口是心非。

3 愿耶和华剪除一切说谄媚话的嘴唇，

和说夸大话的舌头。

4 他们曾说："我们必能以舌头取胜；

我们的嘴唇是自己的，谁能作我们的主呢？"

5 耶和华说："因为困苦人的冤屈和贫穷人的叹息，

我现在要起来，把他们安置在他们渴望的稳妥之中。"

6 耶和华的言语是纯净的言语，

好象银子在泥炉中炼过，精炼过七次一样。

7 耶和华啊！求你保守我们，

保护我们*《马索拉文本》，"我们……我们"作"他们……他"；现参照其他抄本及《七十士译本》翻译永远脱离这世代的人。

8 恶人到处横行，

邪恶在世人中被高举。
