1 Deus se levanta; os seus inimigos
se dispersam;
os que o odeiam
fogem da sua presença.
2 Como se dissipa a fumaça,
assim tu os dispersas;
como a cera se derrete
perto do fogo,
assim os ímpios somem
da presença de Deus.
3 Os justos, porém, se alegram;
exultam na presença de Deus
e folgam de alegria.
4 Cantem a Deus, cantem louvores
ao seu nome;
exaltem aquele que cavalga
sobre as nuvens.
Senhor é o seu nome;
exultem diante dele.
5 Pai dos órfãos e juiz das viúvas
é Deus em sua santa morada.
6 Deus faz com que o solitário
more em família;
liberta os cativos
e lhes dá prosperidade;
só os rebeldes habitam
em terra estéril.
7 Ao saíres, ó Deus,
à frente do teu povo,
ao avançares pelo deserto,
8 a terra tremeu;
também os céus gotejaram
na presença de Deus;
o próprio Sinai tremeu
na presença de Deus,
do Deus de Israel.
9 Chuva abundante derramaste,
ó Deus, sobre a tua herança;
quando ela já estava exausta,
tu a restabeleceste.
10 Aí habitou o teu povo;
em tua bondade, ó Deus,
fizeste provisão
para os necessitados.
11 O Senhor deu a palavra,
e grande é o exército
das mensageiras
das boas-novas:
12 "Reis de exércitos fogem!
Eles fogem!"
E a dona de casa
reparte os despojos.
13 Por que estão repousando
entre as cercas dos apriscos?
As asas da pomba
são cobertas de prata,
cujas penas maiores
têm o brilho do ouro puro.
14 Quando o Todo-Poderoso ali
dispersa os reis,
cai neve sobre o monte Salmom.
15 Monte altíssimo
é o monte de Basã;
serra de elevações
é o monte de Basã.
16 Por que olham com inveja,
ó montes elevados,
para o monte que Deus escolheu
para sua habitação?
O Senhor habitará nele
para sempre.
17 Os carros de Deus são vinte mil,
sim, milhares de milhares.
No meio deles, está o Senhor;
o Sinai tornou-se em santuário.
18 Subiste às alturas,
levaste cativo o cativeiro;
recebeste homens por dádivas,
até mesmo rebeldes,
para que o Senhor Deus
habite no meio deles.
19 Bendito seja o Senhor que,
dia a dia, leva o nosso fardo!
Deus é a nossa salvação.
20 O nosso Deus é
o Deus libertador;
com Deus, o Senhor,
está o escaparmos da morte.
21 Sim, Deus parte a cabeça
dos seus inimigos
e racha o crânio do que anda
nos seus próprios delitos.
22 O Senhor disse:
"Eu os trarei de Basã,
eu os farei voltar
das profundezas do mar,
23 para que você banhe
o seu pé em sangue,
e a língua dos seus cães tenha
a sua porção dos inimigos."
24 Viu-se, ó Deus, o teu cortejo,
o cortejo do meu Deus,
do meu Rei, no santuário.
25 Os cantores iam na frente,
atrás vinham os tocadores
de instrumentos de cordas,
em meio às moças com tamborins.
26 Bendigam a Deus
nas congregações,
bendigam o Senhor, vocês que são
da linhagem de Israel.
27 Ali está o mais novo,
Benjamim, que os precede,
os príncipes de Judá,
em grande número,
os príncipes de Zebulom
e os príncipes de Naftali.
28 Reúne, ó Deus, a tua força,
força divina que usaste
a nosso favor,
29 oriunda do teu templo
em Jerusalém.
Os reis te oferecerão presentes.
30 Reprime a fera dos canaviais,
a multidão dos fortes como touros
e dos povos com novilhos,
pisando sobre os que cobiçam
barras de prata.
Dispersa os povos que têm prazer
na guerra.
31 Príncipes vêm do Egito;
a Etiópia corre a estender
mãos cheias para Deus.
32 Reinos da terra, cantem a Deus,
cantem louvores ao Senhor,
33 àquele que vai montado
sobre os céus,
os céus da antiguidade;
eis que ele faz ouvir a sua voz,
voz poderosa.
34 Deem glória a Deus!
A sua majestade está sobre Israel,
e a sua fortaleza, nos céus.
35 Ó Deus, tu és tremendo
no teu santuário!
O Deus de Israel,
ele dá força e poder ao seu povo.

1 Let God arise, let his enemies be scattered. Let also those who hate him flee before him.2 As smoke is driven away, so drive them away. As wax melts before the fire, so let the wicked perish at the presence of God.3 But let the righteous be glad. Let them exult before God. Yea, let them rejoice with gladness.4 Sing to God, sing praises to his name. Cast up a highway for him who rides through the deserts. His name is LORD, and exult ye before him.5 A father of the fatherless, and a judge of the widows, is God in his holy habitation.6 God sets the lonely in families. He brings out the prisoners into prosperity, but the rebellious dwell in a parched land.7 O God, when thou went forth before thy people, when thou marched through the wilderness (Selah)8 the earth trembled, the heavens also dropped at the presence of God, Sinai at the presence of God, the God of Israel.9 Thou, O God, sent a plentiful rain. Thou confirmed thine inheritance when it was weary.10 Thy congregation dwelt in it. Thou, O God, prepared for the poor from thy goodness.11 LORD gave the word. Great [was] the company of those who published [it].12 Kings of armies fled quickly, and she who remained at home divided the spoil.13 Though ye lay between two boundaries, [it is as] the wings of a dove covered with silver, and her pinions with yellow gold.14 When the Almighty scattered kings in it, [it was as] it snows in Zalmon.15 A mountain of God is the mountain of Bashan; a high mountain is the mountain of Bashan.16 Why look ye askance, ye high mountains, at the mountain which God has desired for his abode? Yea, LORD will dwell [in it] forever.17 The chariots of God are twenty thousand, even thousands upon thousands. LORD is among them, [as in] Sinai, in the sanctuary.18 Thou have ascended on high. Thou have led captivity captive. Thou have received gifts among men, yea, [among] the rebellious also, that LORD God might dwell [with them].19 Blessed be LORD, who bears our burden daily, even the God who is our salvation. Selah.20 God is to us a God of deliverances, and escape from death belongs to lord LORD.21 But God will smite through the head of his enemies, the hairy scalp of him who still goes in his guiltiness.22 LORD said, I will bring again from Bashan. I will bring again from the depths of the sea,23 that thou may dash thy foot in blood, that the tongue of thy dogs may have its portion from enemies.24 They have seen thy goings, O God, even the goings of my God, my King, into the sanctuary.25 The singers went before, the minstrels followed after, in the midst of the damsels playing with timbrels.26 Bless ye God in the congregations, the lord of the fountain of Israel.27 There [is] little Benjamin their ruler, the rulers of Judah [and] their council, the rulers of Zebulun, the rulers of Naphtali.28 Thy God has commanded thy strength. Strengthen, O God, that which thou have wrought for us.29 Because of thy temple at Jerusalem kings shall bring presents to thee.30 Rebuke the wild beast of the reeds, the multitude of the bulls, with the calves of the peoples, trampling under foot the pieces of silver. He has scattered the peoples that delight in war.31 Rulers shall come out of Egypt. Ethiopia shall hasten to stretch out her hands to God.32 Sing to God, ye kingdoms of the earth. O sing praises to LORD (Selah),33 to him who rides upon the heaven of heavens, which are of old. Lo, he utters his voice, a mighty voice.34 Ascribe ye strength to God. His excellency is over Israel, and his strength is in the skies.35 O God, awesome out of thy holy places, the God of Israel, he gives strength and power to [his] people. Blessed be God.
