1 O Senhor reina! Vestiu-se de majestade; de majestade vestiu-se o Senhor e armou-se de poder! O mundo está firme e não se abalará.

2 O teu trono está firme desde a antigüidade; tu existes desde a eternidade.

3 As águas se levantaram, Senhor, as águas levantaram a voz; as águas levantaram seu bramido.

4 Mais poderoso do que o estrondo das águas impetuosas, mais poderoso do que as ondas do mar é o Senhor nas alturas.

5 Os teus mandamentos permanecem firmes e fiéis; a santidade, Senhor, é o ornamento perpétuo da tua casa.

1 The LORD reigns, he is clothed with majesty; the LORD is clothed with strength, with which he has girded himself: the world also is established, that it cannot be moved.

2 Your throne is established of old: you are from everlasting.

3 The floods have lifted up, O LORD, the floods have lifted up their voice; the floods lift up their waves.

4 The LORD on high is mightier than the noise of many waters, yea, than the mighty waves of the sea.

5 Your testimonies are very sure: holiness becomes your house, O LORD, forever.
