Deus é louvado por amor da sua bondade

1 Louvai a Jeová!

De todo o meu coração, *Sl 138.1darei graças a Jeová,

no *Sl 89.7;149.1concílio dos retos e na congregação.

2 Grandes são as *Sl 92.5obras de Jeová,

procuradas por todos os que nelas se comprazem.

3 A sua obra é *Sl 96.6;145.5majestade e esplendor;

e a sua *Sl 112.3,9;119.142justiça subsiste para sempre.

4 Ele fez memoráveis as suas maravilhas;

*Sl 86.15;103.8;145.8benigno e misericordioso é Jeová.

5 Ele *Mt 6.31-33dá sustento aos que o temem;

*Sl 105.8lembrar-se-á sempre da sua aliança.

6 Ao seu povo mostra o poder das suas obras,

dando-lhes a herança das nações.

7 As obras das suas mãos são *Ap 15.3verdade e justiça;

*Sl 19.7;93.5fiéis são todos os seus preceitos.

8 São eles *Sl 119.160;Is 40.8;Mt 5.18estáveis para todo o sempre,

feitos em *Sl 19.9verdade e retidão.

9 *Lc 1.68Enviou ao seu povo a redenção;

ordenou para sempre a sua aliança.

*Sl 99.3Santo e tremendo é o seu nome.

10 *Pv 1.7;9.10O temor de Jeová é o princípio da sabedoria;

têm *Sl 119.98;Pv 3.4bom entendimento todos os que o cumprem.

O seu *Sl 145.2louvor subsiste para sempre.

3 His work is honourable and glorious: and his righteousness endureth for ever.

4 He hath made his wonderful works to be remembered: the LORD is gracious and full of compassion.

6 He hath shewed his people the power of his works, that he may give them the heritage of the heathen.

7 The works of his hands are verity and judgment; all his commandments are sure.

9 He sent redemption unto his people: he hath commanded his covenant for ever: holy and reverend is his name.
