Davi recorre a Deus, confiando na sua própria integridade

1 *Sl 7.8Julga-me, Jeová, porque eu *Pv 20.7tenho andado na minha integridade;

em Jeová *Sl 13.5tenho confiado *Hb 10.23sem vacilar.

2 *Sl 139.23Examina-me, Jeová, e experimenta-me;

*Sl 7.9põe à prova os meus rins e o meu coração.

3 Pois a tua *Sl 48.9benignidade está diante dos meus olhos,

e tenho *Sl 86.11andado na tua verdade.

4 Não me *Sl 1.1tenho sentado com homens falsos,

nem terei relações *Sl 28.3com dissimuladores.

5 *Sl 31.6;139.21Odeio o ajuntamento dos malfazejos

e com iníquos não me sentarei.

6 *Sl 73.13Em inocência lavarei as minhas mãos;

assim, Jeová, *Sl 43.3-4me acercarei do teu altar,

7 para fazer *Sl 9.1ouvir-se a voz de ação de graças

e narrar todas as tuas maravilhas.

9 Não leves a minha alma juntamente com os pecadores,

nem a minha vida *Sl 139.19com os sanguinários,

e cuja direita está cheia de *Sl 15.5peitas.

11 Quanto a mim, porém, *Sl 26.1andarei na minha integridade;

12 O meu pé está firme *Sl 27.11em terreno plano;

*Sl 22.22nas congregações, bendirei a Jeová.

A Psalm of David.

1 Judge me, O LORD; for I have walked in mine integrity: I have trusted also in the LORD; therefore I shall not slide.

2 Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

3 For thy lovingkindness is before mine eyes: and I have walked in thy truth.

4 I have not sat with vain persons, neither will I go in with dissemblers.

5 I have hated the congregation of evil doers; and will not sit with the wicked.

6 I will wash mine hands in innocency: so will I compass thine altar, O LORD:

7 That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.
