Davi roga a Deus que o auxilie e louva a Deus porque ouviu as suas súplicas

1 A ti, Jeová, clamarei.

*Sl 18.2Rocha minha, não sejas surdo para comigo;

não suceda que, *Sl 35.22;39.12;83.1ficando tu em silêncio a meu respeito,

eu me torne semelhante *Sl 88.4;143.7;Pv 1.12aos que descem à cova.

2 Ouve a *Sl 140.6voz das minhas súplicas, quando a ti clamar por socorro,

*Sl 134.2;141.2;Lm 2.19;1Tm 2.8quando levantar as minhas mãos *Sl 5.7;138.2para o teu *1Rs 6.5santo oráculo.

3 *Sl 26.9Não me arrastes juntamente com os iníquos

e com os que obram a iniquidade,

*Sl 12.2;55.21;62.4;Jr 9.8os quais falam de paz com o seu próximo,

mas têm em seus corações a maldade.

4 Dá-lhes *Sl 62.12;2Tm 4.14segundo a sua obra e segundo a maldade dos seus feitos;

dá-lhes segundo o que fizeram as suas mãos.

Retribui-lhes o que eles merecem.

5 Porquanto não *Is 5.12prestam atenção às obras de Jeová,

nem ao que ele fez com as suas mãos.

Derrubá-los-á e não os reedificará.

6 Bendito seja Jeová, porque *Sl 28.2ouviu a voz das minhas súplicas!

7 Jeová é a *Sl 59.17minha força e o *Sl 3.3meu escudo;

nele *Sl 13.5;112.7tem confiado o meu coração, e sou ajudado.

Por isso, *Sl 16.9exulta o meu coração,

e, com o *Sl 40.3;69.30meu cântico, o louvarei.

8 Jeová é a *Sl 89.17força do seu povo,

é uma *Sl 27.1;140.7fortaleza salvadora para o seu ungido.

9 *Sl 106.47Salva o teu povo e abençoa a *Sl 33.12;106.40;Dt 9.29;32.9;1Rs 8.51tua herança;

3 Draw me not away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, which speak peace to their neighbours, but mischief is in their hearts.

4 Give them according to their deeds, and according to the wickedness of their endeavours: give them after the work of their hands; render to them their desert.

5 Because they regard not the works of the LORD, nor the operation of his hands, he shall destroy them, and not build them up.

6 Blessed be the LORD, because he hath heard the voice of my supplications.

7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoiceth; and with my song will I praise him.
