1 Jeová, como se multiplicam os *Sl 69.4;2Sm 15.12meus adversários!

Muitos são os que se levantam contra mim.

2 Muitos são os que dizem de mim:

Não há em Deus *Sl 22.7-8;71.11salvação para ele. (Selá)

3 Tu, porém, Jeová, és *Sl 5.12um escudo ao redor de mim,

a minha *Sl 62.7glória e o que *Sl 9.13;27.6exaltas a minha cabeça.

4 Com a minha voz, clamo a Jeová,

e ele, do *Sl 2.6;15.1;43.3seu santo monte, me *Sl 4.3responde. (Selá)

5 Eu me *Sl 4.8;Pv 3.24deitei e dormi;

acordei, porque Jeová me sustenta.

6 Não terei *Sl 23.4;27.3medo das miríades de gente

que se *Sl 118.10-13puseram contra mim de todos os lados.

7 *Sl 7.6Levanta-te, Jeová; *Sl 6.4;22.31salva-me, Deus meu,

pois *Jó 16.10feriste no queixo todos os meus inimigos;

*Sl 57.4;58.6quebraste os dentes aos iníquos.

8 A Jeová pertence a *Sl 28.8;35.3salvação.

2 Many there be which say of my soul, There is no help for him in God. Selah.

5 I laid me down and slept; I awaked; for the LORD sustained me.

6 I will not be afraid of ten thousands of people, that have set themselves against me round about.

7 Arise, O LORD; save me, O my God: for thou hast smitten all mine enemies upon the cheek bone; thou hast broken the teeth of the ungodly.

8 Salvation belongeth unto the LORD: thy blessing is upon thy people. Selah.
