1 Ó Deus, *pelo teu nome, salva-me

e, *pelo teu poder, faze-me justiça.

2 *Ó Deus, ouve a minha oração;

*dá ouvidos às palavras da minha boca.

3 Pois estrangeiros *se levantam contra mim,

*e homens violentos *procuram tirar-me a vida.

4 *Eis que Deus é o meu ajudador.

*O Senhor é quem me sustenta a vida.

5 *Ele retribuirá o mal aos meus inimigos;

*por tua verdade, *extermina-os.

6 *De livre vontade te oferecerei sacrifícios;

*darei graças ao teu nome, Jeová, porque é bom.

7 *Pois me livrou de toda a tribulação;

*e os meus olhos veem a ruína dos meus inimigos.

3 For strangers are risen up against me, and oppressors seek after my soul: they have not set God before them. Selah.

4 Behold, God is mine helper: the Lord is with them that uphold my soul.

5 He shall reward evil unto mine enemies: cut them off in thy truth.*

6 I will freely sacrifice unto thee: I will praise thy name, O LORD; for it is good.

7 For he hath delivered me out of all trouble: and mine eye hath seen his desire upon mine enemies.
