1 Compadece-te de mim, ó Deus, compadece-te de mim,

pois em ti se *refugia a minha alma.

Sim, nas *sombras das tuas asas me refugiarei,

5 *Sê exaltado, ó Deus, acima dos céus;

acima de toda a terra seja a tua glória.

6 Eles preparam um *laço aos meus pés;

a minha alma está *abatida;

*abriram diante de mim uma cova;

Cantarei, sim, cantarei louvores.

8 Desperta, *glória minha; desperta, *alaúde e harpa;

eu farei acordar a aurora.

9 Dar-te-ei graças, ó Deus, entre os povos;

cantarei a ti louvores entre as nações.

10 Pois tão grande é a *tua benignidade, que vai aos céus;

e até as nuvens, a tua verdade.

8 Awake up, my glory; awake, psaltery and harp: I myself will awake early.

9 I will praise thee, O Lord, among the people: I will sing unto thee among the nations.

10 For thy mercy is great unto the heavens, and thy truth unto the clouds.
