Ação de graças por um grande livramento

1 Louvarei a Jeová de *Sl 86.12todo o meu coração,

*Sl 26.7cantarei todas as tuas maravilhas.

2 Alegrar-me-ei e *Sl 104.34exultarei em ti.

*Sl 66.2,4Cantarei louvores ao teu nome, ó *Sl 92.1Altíssimo.

3 Ao retrocederem os meus inimigos,

tropeçam e *Sl 27.2somem-se da tua presença.

4 Pois *Sl 140.12sustentaste o meu direito e a minha causa;

no trono te assentaste, *Sl 50.6julgando retamente.

5 *Sl 119.21Repreendeste as nações, destruíste o iníquo,

*Sl 69.28apagaste o nome deles para todo o sempre.

6 Quanto aos inimigos, consumidos estão; *Sl 40.15perpétuas são as suas ruínas.

Arrasaste as suas cidades, e até a *Sl 34.16memória deles pereceu.

7 *Sl 10.16Jeová, porém, está entronizado para sempre;

erigiu o seu *Sl 89.14trono para exercer o juízo.

8 É ele quem *Sl 96.13;98.9julgará com justiça o mundo,

quem aos povos administrará juízo com equidade.

9 Assim, Jeová será para o oprimido um *Sl 59.9,16-17alto refúgio,

um alto refúgio em tempos de extremidade.

10 Em ti, pois, confiarão os que *Sl 91.14conhecem o teu nome,

porque tu, Jeová, não tens *Sl 37.28;94.14abandonado os que te buscam.

11 Entoai louvores a Jeová, que *Sl 76.2habita em Sião;

*Sl 105.1anunciai entre os povos os seus feitos.

12 Pois *Sl 72.14;Gn 9.5ele, o vingador do sangue, se lembra deles;

não se esquece do *Sl 9.18grito dos pobres.

13 Compadece-te de mim, Jeová;

olha a aflição que sofro dos que me *Sl 38.19aborrecem,

tu que me *Sl 30.3;86.13levantas das portas da morte,

14 para que eu manifeste *Sl 106.2todos os teus louvores.

Nas portas da filha de Sião,

eu me *Sl 13.5;20.5;35.9;51.12regozijarei na tua salvação.

15 Afundam-se as nações *Sl 7.15na cova que abriram;

*Sl 57.6na rede que ocultaram, ficou preso o seu pé.

16 Jeová dá-se a conhecer, *Sl 9.4executa o juízo.

Enlaçado está o iníquo nas obras das suas mãos. (Higaiom. Selá)

17 Os iníquos *Sl 49.14hão de voltar para o Sheol,

todas as nações *Sl 50.22que se esquecem de Deus.

18 Pois não será esquecido para sempre *Sl 9.12o necessitado,

*Sl 62.5;71.5nem a esperança dos aflitos se frustrará perpetuamente.

19 Levanta-te, Jeová; não prevaleça o mortal.

Sejam as nações *Sl 9.5julgadas na tua presença.

20 Incute-lhes *Sl 14.5temor, Jeová;

saibam as nações que de *Sl 62.9mortais não passam. (Selá)

1 I will praise thee, O LORD, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works.

2 I will be glad and rejoice in thee: I will sing praise to thy name, O thou most High.

3 When mine enemies are turned back, they shall fall and perish at thy presence.

4 For thou hast maintained my right and my cause; thou satest in the throne judging right.*9.4 maintained…: Heb. made my judgment*9.4 judging right: Heb. judging in righteousness

5 Thou hast rebuked the heathen, thou hast destroyed the wicked, thou hast put out their name for ever and ever.

6 O thou enemy, destructions are come to a perpetual end: and thou hast destroyed cities; their memorial is perished with them.*9.6 O thou…: or, The destructions of the enemy are come to a perpetual end: and their cities hast thou destroyed, etc

7 But the LORD shall endure for ever: he hath prepared his throne for judgment.

8 And he shall judge the world in righteousness, he shall minister judgment to the people in uprightness.

9 The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble.*9.9 a refuge: Heb. an high place

10 And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

11 Sing praises to the LORD, which dwelleth in Zion: declare among the people his doings.

12 When he maketh inquisition for blood, he remembereth them: he forgetteth not the cry of the humble.*9.12 humble: or, afflicted

13 Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:

14 That I may shew forth all thy praise in the gates of the daughter of Zion: I will rejoice in thy salvation.

15 The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot taken.

16 The LORD is known by the judgment which he executeth: the wicked is snared in the work of his own hands. Higgaion. Selah.*9.16 Higgaion: that is, Meditation

17 The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.

18 For the needy shall not alway be forgotten: the expectation of the poor shall not perish for ever.

19 Arise, O LORD; let not man prevail: let the heathen be judged in thy sight.

20 Put them in fear, O LORD: that the nations may know themselves to be but men. Selah.
