Apocalipse 14

O Cordeiro e os seus remidos no monte Sião

1 *Ap 5.6Olhei, e eis o Cordeiro em pé sobre *Sl 2.6;Hb 12.22o monte Sião, e, com ele, *Ap 14.3;Ap 7.4cento e quarenta e quatro mil que tinham escrito o nome dele e *Ap 3.12o nome de seu Pai *Ap 7.3sobre as suas testas. 2 Ouvi uma voz do céu como *Ap 1.15a voz de muitas águas e como *Ap 6.1a voz de um grande trovão; e a voz que ouvi era como de *Ap 5.8harpistas que tocavam nas suas harpas. 3 Cantavam um *Ap 5.9novo cântico, diante do trono, e diante *Ap 4.6das quatro criaturas viventes, e dos *Ap 4.4anciãos; e *Ap 2.17ninguém podia aprender aquele cântico, senão os cento e quarenta e quatro mil que foram *Ap 5.9comprados da terra. 4 *Mt 19.12(?); cp.Ap 3.4;2Co 11.2;Ef 5.27Estes são os que não se contaminaram com mulheres, porque são virgens. Estes são os que *Ap 7.17; cp.Ap 3.4;17.14seguem o Cordeiro para onde quer que vá. Estes foram *Ap 5.9comprados dentre os homens para serem as *Tg 1.18; cp.Hb 12.23primícias para Deus e para o Cordeiro. 5 *Sf 3.13; cp.Sl 32.2;Ml 2.6;Jo 1.47;1Pe 2.22Na sua boca, não foi achada mentira; estão *Jd 24; cp.Hb 9.14;1Pe 1.19sem defeito.

A primeira voz

6 Vi outro anjo voando pelo *Ap 8.13meio do céu, tendo um *Ap 10.7;1Pe 1.25evangelho eterno para anunciar *Ap 3.10aos habitantes da terra, e a *Ap 5.9toda nação, e tribo, e língua, e povo, 7 dizendo em alta voz: *Ap 15.4Temei a Deus e *Ap 11.13dai-lhe glória, porque é chegada a hora do seu juízo; e adorai aquele que *Ap 4.11fez o céu, e a terra, e o mar, e *Ap 8.10as fontes das águas.

A segunda voz

8 Um segundo anjo o seguiu, dizendo: *Ap 18.2;Is 21.9;Jr 51.8Caiu, caiu a grande *Ap 16.19;17.5;18.10; cp.Dn 4.30Babilônia, que *Jr 51.7deu a beber a todas as nações do *Ap 18.3;17.2,4vinho da ira da sua fornicação.

A terceira voz

9 Seguiu-se a estes um terceiro anjo, dizendo em alta voz: Se alguém *Ap 14.11;Ap 13.12adora a besta e a sua *Ap 14.11;Ap 13.14s.imagem e traz a sua *Ap 13.16marca na testa ou na mão, 10 beberá este também do *Ap 16.19; cp.19.15;Is 51.17;Jr 25.15-16,27vinho da ira de Deus, que está preparado, sem mistura, *cp.Ap 18.6;Sl 75.8no cálice da sua cólera, e será atormentado em *cp.Ap 19.20;20.10,14s.;21.8;Ez 38.22;2Ts 1.7fogo e em enxofre diante dos *Mc 8.38santos anjos e diante do Cordeiro. 11 *cp.Ap 18.9,18;19.3;Is 34.8-10O fumo do seu tormento sobe pelos séculos dos séculos, *Ap 4.8e não têm repouso nem de dia nem de noite aqueles que *Ap 14.9;Ap 13.12adoram a besta e a sua *Ap 14.9;Ap 13.14s.imagem e quem receber a *Ap 13.17marca do seu nome. 12 *Ap 13.10Aqui está a perseverança dos santos que *Ap 12.17guardam os mandamentos de Deus e *cp.Ap 2.13a fé em Jesus.

A quarta voz

13 Ouvi uma voz do céu dizendo: Escreve: *Ap 20.6Bem-aventurados os mortos que, *cp.Ap 11.18desde agora, *1Co 15.18;1Ts 4.16morrem no Senhor. Sim, *Ap 2.7;22.17diz o Espírito, para que *Ap 6.11;Hb 4.9s.descansem dos seus trabalhos, porque as *cp.1Tm 5.25suas obras os acompanham.

A ceifa

14 Olhei, e eis uma *cp.Mt 17.5nuvem branca, e, sobre a nuvem, sentado um *Ap 1.13semelhante a filho de homem, tendo uma *Ap 6.2; cp.Sl 21.3coroa de ouro sobre a cabeça e uma foice afiada na mão. 15 Outro anjo *Ap 14.17;Ap 15.6;16.17; vd.11.19saiu do santuário, clamando em alta voz ao que estava sentado sobre a nuvem: *Ap 14.18;Mc 4.29;Jl 3.13Mete a tua foice e ceifa; pois a hora de ceifar é chegada, porque a *Mt 13.39-41; cp.Jr 51.33seara da terra está madura. 16 Então, o que estava sentado sobre a nuvem meteu a sua foice à terra, e a terra foi ceifada.

A vindima

17 Ainda outro anjo saiu do santuário, que está no céu, tendo também ele uma foice afiada. 18 Outro anjo saiu do *Ap 6.9; cp.8.3altar, *cp.Ap 16.8aquele que tinha poder sobre o fogo, e clamou em alta voz ao que tinha a foice afiada, dizendo: *Ap 14.15Mete a tua foice afiada e vindima os cachos da videira da terra, *Jl 3.13porque as suas uvas estão bem maduras. 19 O anjo meteu a sua foice à terra e vindimou a videira da terra e lançou a vindima no *Ap 19.15; cp.Is 63.2s.grande lagar da ira de Deus. 20 O lagar foi pisado *cp.Hb 13.12;Ap 11.8fora da cidade, e saiu *Gn 49.11;Dt 32.14sangue do lagar até os freios dos cavalos, pelo espaço de mil e seiscentos estádios.

1 I saw, and behold, the Lamb standing on Mount Zion, and with him a number, one hundred forty-four thousand, having his name and the name of his Father written on their foreheads. 2 I heard a sound from heaven like the sound of many waters and like the sound of a great thunder. The sound which I heard was like that of harpists playing on their harps. 3 They sing a new song before the throne and before the four living creatures and the elders. No one could learn the song except the one hundred forty-four thousand, those who had been redeemed out of the earth. 4 These are those who were not defiled with women, for they are virgins. These are those who follow the Lamb wherever he goes. These were redeemed by Jesus from among men, the first fruits to God and to the Lamb. 5 In their mouth was found no lie, for they are blameless.*14:5 TR adds "before the throne of God"

6 I saw an angel flying in mid heaven, having an eternal Good News to proclaim to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, language, and people. 7 He said with a loud voice, "Fear the Lord, and give him glory, for the hour of his judgment has come. Worship him who made the heaven, the earth, the sea, and the springs of waters!"

8 Another, a second angel, followed, saying, "Babylon the great has fallen, which has made all the nations to drink of the wine of the wrath of her sexual immorality."

9 Another angel, a third, followed them, saying with a great voice, "If anyone worships the beast and his image, and receives a mark on his forehead or on his hand, 10 he also will drink of the wine of the wrath of God, which is prepared unmixed in the cup of his anger. He will be tormented with fire and sulfur in the presence of the holy angels and in the presence of the Lamb. 11 The smoke of their torment goes up forever and ever. They have no rest day and night, those who worship the beast and his image, and whoever receives the mark of his name.

12 Here is the perseverance of the saints, those who keep the commandments of God and the faith of Jesus."

13 I heard a voice from heaven saying, "Write, ‘Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord from now on.’"

"Yes," says the Spirit, "that they may rest from their labors, for their works follow with them."

14 I looked, and saw a white cloud, and on the cloud one sitting like a son of man,✝14:14 Daniel 7:13 having on his head a golden crown, and in his hand a sharp sickle. 15 Another angel came out of the temple, crying with a loud voice to him who sat on the cloud, "Send your sickle and reap, for the hour to reap has come; for the harvest of the earth is ripe!" 16 He who sat on the cloud thrust his sickle on the earth, and the earth was reaped.

17 Another angel came out of the temple which is in heaven. He also had a sharp sickle. 18 Another angel came out from the altar, he who has power over fire, and he called with a great voice to him who had the sharp sickle, saying, "Send your sharp sickle and gather the clusters of the vine of the earth, for the earth’s grapes are fully ripe!" 19 The angel thrust his sickle into the earth, and gathered the vintage of the earth and threw it into the great wine press of the wrath of God. 20 The wine press was trodden outside of the city, and blood came out of the wine press, up to the bridles of the horses, as far as one thousand six hundred stadia.*14:20 1600 stadia = 296 kilometers or 184 miles
