1 "Farás o tabernáculo com dez cortinas de linho fino retorcido de púrpura violeta, púrpura escarlate e de carmesim, sobre as quais alguns querubins serão artisticamente bordados.2 Cada cortina terá vinte e oito côvados de comprimento e quatro côvados de largura: terão todas as mesmas dimensões.3 Cinco dessas cortinas serão juntas uma à outra, e as cinco outras igualmente.4 Na orla da cortina que está na extremidade do primeiro grupo, porás laços de púrpura violeta; farás a mesma coisa na orla da cortina que remata o segundo grupo.5 Farás cinqüenta laços para a primeira cortina, e cinqüenta para a extremidade da última cortina do segundo grupo, de modo que se correspondam.6 Farás também cinqüenta colchetes de ouro, com os quais juntarás as duas cortinas, a fim de que o tabernáculo forme um todo.7 Farás também cortinas de peles de cabra para servirem de tenda sobre o tabernáculo: farás onze dessas cortinas.8 O comprimento de uma dessas cortinas será de trinta côvados, e sua largura de quatro côvados. As onze cortinas terão todas as mesmas dimensões.9 Juntarás de uma parte cinco dessas cortinas, e seis de outra parte, estando a sexta dobrada na parte dianteira da tenda.10 Porás cinqüenta laços na orla de cada uma das duas cortinas que estão na extremidade de cada grupo.11 Farás cinqüenta colchetes de bronze que introduzirás nos laços, e ajuntarás assim a tenda de modo que ela forme uma só peça.12 E como essas cortinas terão um excedente de comprimento, o resto que sobrar cairá sobre o lado posterior do tabernáculo.13 E o côvado excedente dos dois lados, no comprimento das cortinas da tenda, cairá sobre cada um dos dois lados do tabernáculo para cobri-lo.14 Farás para a tenda uma cobertura de peles de carneiro, tingidas de vermelho, e por cima uma cobertura de peles de golfinho.15 "Farás também para o tabernáculo tábuas de madeira de acácia, que serão colocadas verticalmente.16 O comprimento de uma tábua será de dez côvados, e a largura de um côvado e meio.17 Cada tábua terá dois encaixes, unidos um ao outro. Assim farás com todas as tábuas do tabernáculo.18 Farás, pois, para o tabernáculo vinte tábuas para o lado meridional, ao sul.19 Porás sob essas vinte tábuas quarenta suportes de prata, dois sob cada tábua, para os seus dois encaixes.20 Para o segundo lado do tabernáculo, ao norte, farás vinte tábuas,21 com quarenta suportes de prata, à razão de dois por tábua.22 Para o fundo do tabernáculo, ao ocidente, farás seis tábuas.23 Para os ângulos do tabernáculo, farás duas tábuas;24 serão emparelhadas desde a base, formando juntas uma só peça até o cimo, na primeira argola. Assim se fará com as duas tábuas colocadas nos ângulos.25 Haverá, pois, oito tábuas, com seus suportes de prata em número de dezesseis, dois sob cada tábua.26 Farás depois cinco travessas de madeira de acácia para as tábuas de um dos lados do tabernáculo,27 cinco para as tábuas do segundo lado, e cinco para as tábuas que estão do lado posterior do tabernáculo, ao ocidente.28 A travessa central passará pelo meio das tábuas, de uma extremidade à outra.29 Recobrirás de ouro essas tábuas, e pôr-lhes-ás argolas de ouro, por onde passarão as travessas que recobrirás também de ouro.30 Levantarás o tabernáculo segundo o modelo que te foi mostrado sobre o monte.31 Farás um véu de púrpura violeta, de púrpura escarlate, de carmesim e de linho retorcido, sobre o qual serão artisticamente bordados querubins.32 Suspendê-lo-ás sobre quatro colunas de madeira de acácia revestidas de ouro, com pregos de ouro, sobre quatro pedestais de prata.33 Colocarás o véu debaixo dos colchetes, e é ali, atrás do véu, que colocarás a arca da aliança. Esse véu servirá para separar o 'santo' do 'santo dos santos'.34 É no santo dos santos que colocarás a tampa sobre a arca da aliança.35 Porás a mesa diante do véu, e o candelabro defronte da mesa, do lado meridional do tabernáculo; colocarás a mesa do lado norte.36 Farás para a entrada da tenda um véu de púrpura violeta, de púrpura escarlate, de carmesim e de linho retorcido, artisticamente bordado.37 E farás, para suspender aí esse véu, cinco colunas de acácia recobertas de ouro, munidas de colchetes de ouro; e para essas colunas fundirás cinco pedestais de bronze".

1 Moreover thou shalt make the tabernacle [with] ten curtains [of] fine twined linen and blue and purple and scarlet; [with] cherubim of cunning work shalt thou make them.2 The length of one curtain [shall be] twenty-eight cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits; and all the curtains shall have one measure.3 The five curtains shall be coupled together one to another, and the [other] five curtains [shall be] coupled one to another.4 And thou shalt make loops of blue upon the edge of the one curtain from the border in the coupling; and likewise shalt thou make in the uttermost edge of [another] curtain in the coupling of the second.5 Fifty loops shalt thou make in the one curtain, and fifty loops shalt thou make in the border of the curtain that [is] in the second coupling; that the loops may take hold one of another.6 And thou shalt make fifty hooks of gold and couple the curtains together with the hooks; and it shall be one tabernacle.7 Likewise thou shalt make curtains of goats' [hair] to be a covering over the tabernacle; eleven curtains shalt thou make.8 The length of one curtain [shall be] thirty cubits, and the breadth of one curtain four cubits; and the eleven curtains [shall be all] of one measure.9 And thou shalt couple five curtains by themselves, and six curtains by themselves, and shalt double the sixth curtain in the forefront of the tabernacle.10 And thou shalt make fifty loops on the edge of the one curtain from the border in the coupling and fifty loops in the edge of the curtain which couples the second.11 And thou shalt make fifty hooks of brass and put the hooks into the loops and couple the tent together that it may be one.12 And the remnant that remains of the curtains of the tent, the half curtain that remains, shall hang over the backside of the tabernacle.13 And a cubit on the one side and a cubit on the other side of that which remains in the length of the curtains of the tent, it shall hang over the sides of the tabernacle on this side and on that side, to cover it.14 And thou shalt make a covering for the tent [of] rams' skins dyed red and a covering above [of] badgers' skins.15 And thou shalt make boards for the tabernacle [of] cedar wood standing up.16 Ten cubits [shall be] the length of a board, and a cubit and a half [shall be] the breadth of one board.17 Two tenons [shall there be] in one board, set in order one against another; thus shalt thou make for all the boards of the tabernacle.18 And thou shalt make the boards for the tabernacle, twenty boards on the side of the Negev to the south.19 And thou shalt make forty sockets of silver under the twenty boards, two sockets under one board for its two tenons and two sockets under another board for its two tenons.20 And for the second side of the tabernacle on the side of the Aquilon, [there shall be] twenty boards21 and their forty sockets [of] silver: two sockets under one board and two sockets under another board.22 And for the sides of the tabernacle westward, thou shalt make six boards.23 And two boards shalt thou make for the corners of the tabernacle in the two sides,24 and they shall be coupled together beneath, and they shall be coupled together above the head of it unto one ring; thus shall it be for them both; they shall be for the two corners.25 Thus they shall be eight boards, and their sockets [of] silver, sixteen sockets: two sockets under one board and two sockets under another board.26 And thou shalt make five bars [of] cedar wood for the boards of the one side of the tabernacle,27 five bars for the boards of the other side of the tabernacle, and five bars for the boards of the side of the tabernacle, for the two sides westward.28 And the middle bar in the midst of the boards shall reach from end to end.29 And thou shalt cover the boards with gold and make their rings [of] gold [for] places for the bars, and thou shalt also cover the bars with gold.30 And thou shalt raise up the tabernacle according to the fashion thereof which was showed thee in the mount.31 And thou shalt also make a veil [of] blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen of cunning work; with cherubim shall it be made;32 and thou shalt hang it upon four pillars of cedar covered with gold; their capitals [shall be of] gold upon four sockets of silver.33 And thou shalt hang up the veil under the hooks, and thou shalt bring in there, inside the veil, the ark of the testimony; and that veil shall separate for you between the holy [place] and the holy of holies.34 And thou shalt put the seat of reconciliation upon the ark of the testimony in the holy of holies.35 And thou shalt set the table outside the veil, the candlestick over against the table on the side of the tabernacle toward the Negev ([south desert]), and thou shalt put the table on the side of the Aquilon ([north wind]).36 And thou shalt make a hanging for the door of the tabernacle [of] blue, purple, and scarlet, and fine twined linen wrought with needlework.37 And thou shalt make for the hanging five pillars of cedar and cover them with gold, [and] their capitals [shall be of] gold, and thou shalt cast five sockets of brass for them.:
