2 \60:1\For teaching. When he was fighting against Aram-naharaim and Aramzobah, when Joab came back, and put twelve thousand of the Edomites to death, in the Valley of Salt.
3 \60:1\God, you have put us away from you, you have sent us in all directions, you have been angry; O be turned to us again.
4 \60:2\By the power of your hand the earth is shaking and broken; make it strong again, for it is moved.
5 \60:3\You have made the people see hard times; you have given us the wine of shaking for our drink.
6 \60:4\Give a safe place to those who have fear of you, where they may go in flight from before the bow. (Selah.)
7 \60:5\So that your loved ones may be made safe, let your right hand be my salvation, and give me an answer.
8 \60:6\God has said in his holy place, I will be glad: I will make a division of Shechem, and the valley of Succoth will be measured out.
9 \60:7\Gilead is mine, and Manasseh is mine; and Ephraim is the strength of my head; Judah is my law-giver;
10 \60:8\Moab is my washpot; over Edom will I put out my shoe; over Philistia will a glad cry be sounded.
11 \60:9\Who will take me into the strong town? who will be my guide into Edom?
12 \60:10\Have not you put us away, O God? and you have not gone out with our armies.
13 \60:11\Give us help in our trouble; for there is no help in man.
14 \60:12\Through God we will do great things, for through him our haters will be crushed under our feet.

2 (59:2) когда он воевал с Сириею Месопотамскою и с Сириею Цованскою, и когда Иоав, возвращаясь, поразил двенадцать тысяч Идумеев в долине Соляной.
3 (59:3) Боже! Ты отринул нас, Ты сокрушил нас, Ты прогневался: обратись к нам.
4 (59:4) Ты потряс землю, разбил ее: исцели повреждения ее, ибо она колеблется.
5 (59:5) Ты дал испытать народу твоему жестокое, напоил нас вином изумления.
6 (59:6) Даруй боящимся Тебя знамя, чтобы они подняли его ради истины,
7 (59:7) чтобы избавились возлюбленные Твои; спаси десницею Твоею и услышь меня.
8 (59:8) Бог сказал во святилище Своем: "восторжествую, разделю Сихем и долину Сокхоф размерю:
9 (59:9) Мой Галаад, Мой Манассия, Ефрем крепость главы Моей, Иуда скипетр Мой,
10 (59:10) Моав умывальная чаша Моя; на Едома простру сапог Мой. Восклицай Мне, земля Филистимская!"
11 (59:11) Кто введет меня в укрепленный город? Кто доведет меня до Едома?
12 (59:12) Не Ты ли, Боже, [Который] отринул нас, и не выходишь, Боже, с войсками нашими?
13 (59:13) Подай нам помощь в тесноте, ибо защита человеческая суетна.
14 (59:14) С Богом мы окажем силу, Он низложит врагов наших.
