1 Of David. To you, O Lord, my soul is lifted up.

2 O my God, I have put my faith in you, let me not be shamed; let not my haters be glorying over me.

3 Let no servant of yours be put to shame; may those be shamed who are false without cause.

4 Make your steps clear to me, O Lord; give me knowledge of your ways.

5 Be my guide and teacher in the true way; for you are the God of my salvation; I am waiting for your word all the day.

6 O Lord, keep in mind your pity and your mercies; for they have been from the earliest times.

7 Do not keep in mind my sins when I was young, or my wrongdoing: let your memory of me be full of mercy, O Lord, because of your righteousness.

8 Good and upright is the Lord: so he will be the teacher of sinners in the way.

9 He will be an upright guide to the poor in spirit: he will make his way clear to them.

10 All the ways of the Lord are mercy and good faith for those who keep his agreement and his witness.

11 Because of your name, O Lord, let me have forgiveness for my sin, which is very great.

12 If a man has the fear of the Lord, the Lord will be his teacher in the way of his pleasure.

13 His soul will be full of good things, and his seed will have the earth for its heritage.

14 The secret of the Lord is with those in whose hearts is the fear of him; he will make his agreement clear to them.

15 My eyes are turned to the Lord at all times; for he will take my feet out of the net.

16 Be turned to me, and have mercy on me; for I am troubled and have no helper.

17 The troubles of my heart are increased: O take me out of my sorrows.

18 Give thought to my grief and my pain; and take away all my sins.

19 See how those who are against me are increased, for bitter is their hate of me.

20 O keep my soul, and take me out of danger: let me not be shamed, for I have put my faith in you.

21 For my clean and upright ways keep me safe, because my hope is in you.

22 Give Israel salvation, O God, out of all his troubles.

1 Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, linh hồn tôi hướng về Ngài.

2 Đức Chúa Trời tôi ôi! tôi để lòng tin cậy nơi Ngài; nguyện tôi chớ bị hổ thẹn, Chớ để kẻ thù nghịch tôi thắng hơn tôi.

3 Thật, chẳng ai trông cậy Ngài mà lại bị hổ thẹn; Còn những kẻ làm gian trá vô cớ, chúng nó sẽ bị hổ thẹn.

4 Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, xin cho tôi biết các đường lối Ngài, Và dạy dỗ tôi các nẻo đàng Ngài.

5 Xin hãy dẫn tôi trong lẽ thật của Ngài, và dạy dỗ tôi, Vì Ngài là Đức Chúa Trời về sự cứu rỗi tôi; Hằng ngày tôi trông đợi Ngài.

6 Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, xin hãy nhớ lại sự thương xót và sự nhơn từ của Ngài; Vì hai điều ấy hằng có từ xưa.

7 Xin chớ nhớ các tội lỗi của buổi đang thì tôi, hoặc các sự vi phạm tôi; Hỡi Đức Giê-hô-va, xin hãy nhớ đến tôi tùy theo sự thương xót và lòng nhơn từ của Ngài.

8 Đức Giê-hô-va là thiện và ngay thẳng, Bởi cớ ấy Ngài sẽ chỉ dạy con đường cho kẻ có tội.

9 Ngài sẽ dẫn kẻ hiền từ cách chánh trực, Chỉ dạy con đường Ngài cho người nhu mì.

10 Các đường lối Đức Giê-hô-va đều là nhơn từ và chơn thật. Cho kẻ nào giữ gìn giao ước và chứng cớ của Ngài.

11 Đức Giê-hô-va ôi! Nhơn danh Ngài, Xin hãy tha tội ác tôi, vì nó trọng.

12 Ai là người kính sợ Đức Giê-hô-va? Ngài sẽ chỉ dạy cho người ấy con đường mình phải chọn.

13 Linh hồn người sẽ được ở nơi bình an. Và con cháu người sẽ được đất làm sản nghiệp.

14 Đức Giê-hô-va kết bạn thiết cùng người kính sợ Ngài, Tỏ cho người ấy biết giao ước của Ngài.

15 Mắt tôi hằng ngưỡng vọng Đức Giê-hô-va; Vì Ngài sẽ xở chơn tôi ra khỏi lưới.

16 Cầu xin Chúa hãy đoái xem tôi và thương xót tôi, Vì tôi một mình và khốn khổ.

17 Sự bối rối nơi lòng tôi đã thêm nhiều; Xin Chúa cứu tôi khỏi sự hoạn nạn.

18 Khá xem xét sự khốn khổ và sự cực nhọc tôi, Và tha các tội lỗi tôi.

19 Hãy xem xét kẻ thù nghịch tôi, vì chúng nó nhiều; Chúng nó ghét tôi cách hung bạo.

20 Xin Chúa hãy giữ linh hồn tôi, và giải cứu tôi; Chớ để tôi bị hổ thẹn, Vì tôi nương náu mình nơi Chúa.

21 Nguyện sự thanh liêm và sự ngay thẳng bảo hộ tôi, Vì tôi trông đợi Chúa.

22 Đức Chúa Trời ôi! Xin cứu chuộc Y-sơ-ra-ên Khỏi hết thảy sự gian truân người.
