Ezequiel 37

1 Die Hand Jehovas kam über mich, und Jehova führte mich im Geiste hinaus und ließ mich nieder mitten im Tale *Vergl. Kap. 3,22 ; und dieses war voll Gebeine. 2 Und er führte mich ringsherum an ihnen vorüber; und siehe, es waren sehr viele auf der Fläche des Tales, und siehe, sie waren sehr verdorrt. 3 Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, werden diese Gebeine lebendig werden? Und ich sprach: Herr, Jehova, du weißt es. 4 Da sprach er zu mir: Weissage über diese Gebeine und sprich zu ihnen: Ihr verdorrten Gebeine, höret das Wort Jehovas! 5 So spricht der Herr, Jehova, zu diesen Gebeinen: Siehe, ich bringe Odem in euch, daß ihr lebendig werdet. 6 Und ich werde Sehnen über euch legen und Fleisch über euch wachsen lassen und euch mit Haut überziehen, und ich werde Odem in euch legen, daß ihr lebendig werdet. Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich Jehova bin. - 7 Und ich weissagte, wie mir geboten war. Da entstand ein Geräusch, als ich weissagte, und siehe, ein Getöse: und die Gebeine rückten zusammen, Gebein an Gebein. 8 Und ich sah, und siehe, es kamen Sehnen über sie, und Fleisch wuchs, und Haut zog sich darüber obenher; aber es war kein Odem in ihnen. 9 Und er sprach zu mir: Weissage dem Odem, weissage, Menschensohn, und sprich zu dem Odem: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Komm von den vier Winden her, du Odem, und hauche diese Getöteten an, daß sie lebendig werden! 10 Und ich weissagte, wie er mir geboten hatte; und der Odem kam in sie, und sie wurden lebendig und standen auf ihren Füßen, ein überaus großes Heer. - 11 Und er sprach zu mir: Menschensohn, diese Gebeine sind das ganze Haus Israel. Siehe, sie sprechen: Unsere Gebeine sind verdorrt, und unsere Hoffnung ist verloren; wir sind dahin *W. abgeschnitten.12 Darum weissage und sprich zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Siehe, ich werde eure Gräber öffnen und euch aus euren Gräbern heraufkommen lassen, mein Volk, und werde euch in das Land Israel bringen. 13 Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich Jehova bin, wenn ich eure Gräber öffne und euch aus euren Gräbern heraufkommen lasse, mein Volk. 14 Und ich werde meinen Geist in euch geben, daß ihr lebet, und werde euch in euer Land setzen. Und ihr werdet wissen, daß ich, Jehova, geredet und es getan habe, spricht Jehova.

15 Und das Wort Jehovas geschah zu mir also: 16 Und du, Menschensohn, nimm dir ein Holz und schreibe darauf: Für Juda und für die Kinder Israel, seine Genossen. Und nimm ein anderes Holz und schreibe darauf: Für Joseph, Holz Ephraims und des ganzen Hauses Israel, seiner Genossen. 17 Und bringe sie zusammen, eines zum anderen, dir zu einem Holze, so daß sie geeint seien in deiner Hand. 18 Und wenn die Kinder deines Volkes zu dir sprechen und sagen: Willst du uns nicht kundtun, was diese dir bedeuten sollen? 19 so rede zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Siehe, ich werde das Holz Josephs nehmen, welches in der Hand Ephraims ist, und die Stämme Israels, seine Genossen; und ich werde sie dazu tun, zu dem Holze Judas, und werde sie zu einem Holze machen, so daß sie eins seien in meiner Hand. 20 Und die Hölzer, auf welche du geschrieben hast, sollen in deiner Hand sein vor ihren Augen. 21 Und rede zu ihnen: So spricht der Herr, Jehova: Siehe, ich werde die Kinder Israel aus den Nationen herausholen, wohin sie gezogen sind, und ich werde sie von ringsumher sammeln und sie in ihr Land bringen. 22 Und ich werde sie zu einer Nation machen im Lande, auf den Bergen Israels, und sie werden allesamt einen König zum König haben; und sie sollen *Nach and. Les.: und sie soll nicht mehr zu zwei Nationen werden, und sollen sich fortan nicht mehr in zwei Königreiche teilen. 23 Und sie werden sich nicht mehr verunreinigen durch ihre Götzen und durch ihre Scheusale und durch alle ihre Übertretungen; und ich werde sie retten aus allen ihren Wohnsitzen, in welchen sie gesündigt haben, und werde sie reinigen; und sie werden mein Volk, und ich werde ihr Gott sein. 24 Und mein Knecht David wird König über sie sein, und sie werden allesamt einen Hirten haben; und sie werden in meinen Rechten wandeln, und meine Satzungen bewahren und sie tun. 25 Und sie werden wohnen in dem Lande, das ich meinem Knechte Jakob gegeben, worin eure Väter gewohnt haben; und sie werden darin wohnen, sie und ihre Kinder und ihre Kindeskinder, bis in Ewigkeit; und mein Knecht David wird ihr Fürst sein ewiglich. 26 Und ich werde einen Bund des Friedens mit ihnen machen, ein ewiger Bund wird es mit ihnen sein; und ich werde sie einsetzen und sie vermehren, und werde mein Heiligtum in ihre Mitte setzen ewiglich. 27 Und meine Wohnung wird über ihnen sein; und ich werde ihr Gott, und sie werden mein Volk sein. 28 Und die Nationen werden wissen, daß ich Jehova bin, der Israel heiligt, wenn mein Heiligtum in ihrer Mitte sein wird ewiglich.
