1 A ti eu clamo, Senhor, minha Rocha; não fiques indiferente para comigo. Se permaneceres calado, serei como os que descem à cova.2 Ouve as minhas súplicas quando clamo a ti por socorro, quando ergo as mãos para o teu Lugar Santíssimo.3 Não me dês o castigo reservado para os ímpios e para os malfeitores, que falam como amigos com o próximo, mas abrigam maldade no coração.4 Retribui-lhes conforme os seus atos, conforme as suas más obras; retribui-lhes pelo que as suas mãos têm feito e dá-lhes o que merecem.5 Visto que não consideram os feitos do Senhor, nem as obras de suas mãos, ele os arrasará e jamais os deixará reerguer-se.6 Bendito seja o Senhor, pois ouviu as minhas súplicas.7 O Senhor é a minha força e o meu escudo; nele o meu coração confia, e dele recebo ajuda. Meu coração exulta de alegria, e com o meu cântico lhe darei graças.8 O Senhor é a força do seu povo, a fortaleza que salva o seu ungido.9 Salva o teu povo e abençoa a tua herança! Cuida deles como o seu pastor e conduze-os para sempre.

To you, O Yahweh, I will call: My rock, don't be deaf to me; Or else, if you are silent to me, I will become like those who go down into the pit.2 Hear the voice of my supplications, when I cry to you, When I lift up my hands toward your holy oracle.3 Don't draw me away with the wicked, And with the workers of iniquity; That speak peace with their fellow men, But mischief is in their hearts.4 Give them according to their work, and according to the wickedness of their doings: Give them after the operation of their hands; Render to them their desert.5 Because they do not regard the works of Yahweh, Nor the operation of his hands, He will break them down and not build them up.6 Blessed be Yahweh, Because he has heard the voice of my supplications.7 Yahweh is my strength and my shield; My heart has trusted in him, and I am helped: Therefore my heart greatly rejoices; And with my song I will praise him.8 Yahweh is strength to his people, And he is a stronghold of salvation to his anointed.9 Save your people, and bless your inheritance: Be their shepherd also, and bear them up forever.
